Jon and Lisa were amazing! So helpful and this was my first large home repair due to wind damage - couldn’t be happier

They repaired water damage that required gutting a half bath and full bath and refinishing the hardwoods on our main floor. They worked around our schedule, were very professional and we were very pleased with the quality of the work.

Our pipes broke in our basement and so we had Damage Control come out and fix our flooring and dry wall. John and Johnny took great care of us. We actually had to leave Johnny(the repair man) in our house unsupervised for a few hours and we had no issues. Very professional and trustworthy team they have. Would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Called in to get some help and woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. I was barely able to get out what I needed to say and she cuts me off immediately saying “We’re not interested” and cuts the call.

Jon was great as the GC. Jimmy did a fantastic job with the repairs. Jose provided excellent carpet cleaning and was reasonably priced when I requested he clean more carpet. Hope to never need them but secure knowing they are they if we do.

Jon & his team did a great job working with us through the process of correcting the water damage and bringing our home back to its original status. He was great about keeping us updated, as were his subs and contractors.

Overall quality was good. Excellent floor installation via their partnered flooring company. Quick response times. Resolved the issues we had on our punch lists with a little bit of difficulty getting our communication synced. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Their people did a great job repairing water damage that ran from upstairs kitchen to basement living area.
Drywall work in the basement was fast, clean and well done. Kitchen wood floor was partially replaced and totally refinished. They did a great job.
They had their various crews-contractors do the work and they all did great work. -
The finished project looks good. The time of the project was two months late and then they still had items to come in and finish up which took another four months. Our project manager was kind of hard to communicate with. He would mix text and emails and rarely call to discuss anything. Don’t try talking to the contractors because they only talk to the project manager. I loved one day I was over looking at the progress and all I heard was the hvac guys talking about how much they hate this house. Make sure if you have to reschedule an appointment you have a good reason . I was asked to be in a funeral over a weekend on the following Monday. I had an appointment with Jesse the PM that I let him know I would need to reschedule because I had to be in a funeral. Later he told my wife he couldn’t believe I lied about being in a funeral. I had also asked for a couple of items in my house that certainly would have been great but they were overlooked. You also might want to record all of your conversations especially if you are asking for something custom. The house does look nice. Thanks Carmen for your help getting this done.

After our basement flooded while we were away on vacation, we were referred to Damage Control by our insurance company to handle the restoration. Initially, everything seemed promising—the insurance estimate was around $16,000 to restore the basement to its original state, and Mark from Damage Control assured us they could achieve this quickly.
However, we decided to seek a second opinion, and it turned out to be a crucial decision. Another contractor highlighted inconsistencies in the initial assessment and pointed out significant water damage to walls and cabinets that had been overlooked. Following advice from an independent party and conducting mold testing, it became clear that the scope of work required was much more extensive than originally estimated.
Ultimately, the cost to properly restore our basement amounted to $138,000, significantly higher than the initial estimate. Had we relied solely on the advice of the insurance company and Damage Control, we would have faced serious issues like sagging cabinets and hidden mold growth behind our walls.
This experience underscores the importance of doing thorough due diligence when dealing with contractors, especially in challenging situations like ours. While Damage Control was recommended, their initial assessment fell short of addressing the full extent of the damage, leading to unexpected costs and delays in the restoration process.
In conclusion, while we appreciate the referral from our insurance company, it's crucial for homeowners to carefully evaluate all options and seek multiple opinions to ensure that the work to your home is comprehensive and done right. -

Rich is an absolute hero. I told him we need the some help to get rolling with USAA after another company gave us the runaround. Not only did he come out next day, but he also referred a mitigation company (Brock - Rainbow International of Kansas City). Both guys came out, collaborated on the solution, and got us our game plan. High ethics from these guys and a high level of care. Thank you Rich and thank you Brock!!

Fantastic team! 3Square worked on the remodel of my medical office and I couldn’t be happier. Their attention to detail and ability to solve problems that came up is second to none. For example, when our cabinets arrive from the factory and were not the expected quality they met with the manufacturer and had them returned. The cabinets were the ones my architect had recommended. 3Square found a local manufacturer to build them. I think most contractors would have just put them up and washed their hands of it. We also had an issue with the flooring that I think most builders wouldn’t have handled in the same fashion. Mark and Josh contacted the manufacturer to ensure it was correct. A portion of the floor had to be reinstalled. Those are just two of several issues that came up during construction that were managed the way I, as the owner, would have managed them. They truly care about the work they are doing, which I have not often found to be the case. In the end, the project was on budget and looks amazing. I would highly recommend them!
