Austin Terry was very professional. He was clear and upfront and made sure I understood the findings of his assessment. He provided me pictures of the cressote that would require removal by a chemical. He emphasized the repercussions of not replacing the fractured brick and sealing the exterior with a special hydrophobic sealant to prevent water from entering and freezing. He carefully walked on the roof and provided a thorough cleaning. I said I would not have the couple thousand dollars to address the exposed brick on the chimney (which is my first concern) until 2026. The reality is I would have to wait for my tax returns. Thank you for the job well done.

Everyone I worked with provided excellent customer service. However at the time I was only a month into owning my own home for the first time as a single woman and have since learned to be wary of being taken advantage of and to quickly wizen up. I believe I was grossly overcharged based on what I was approved for. I have since learned about high pressure sales tactics that made me feel I had to get the repairs done asap.
On top of that, the mortar is an ugly gray that doesn’t match and I believe has degraded the look of my home. I was told it would fade to match but no luck 3-4 months in.
Greater transparency and break down of expenses would have been nice. I had to specifically ask for the invoice/receipt and unfortunately didn’t think to request it until after I got saddled paying nearly $1000/month for a year on top of my new mortgage.
Two stars because the guys who worked on it were nice and I’m hopeful that while not aesthetic, the job will preserve the chimney.

Inspection and cleaning services were great and provide a high quality product. Technician was very friendly but the company offers a very predatory sales tactic. Initially offer a very high cost estimate to complete the repairs. They then call and say “they are running specials” and can get things like scaffold for free. My quote price magically was cut in half.

This implies this company is gouging people on profit margins or hiring unqualified labor.

I would use the cleaning service again but I would recommend obtaining multiple quotes from multiple suppliers for any repair work

We were very happy with the work. They were on time, very efficient, pleasant and did a good job cleaning up. I am going to use this company to do work on the outside chimney.

Aiden was great! He listened to my concerns (wasps getting in the chimney...and he was prepared to take on that challenge) and talked me through everything from the inspection/cleaning. He was very knowledgeable and kind.

Had annual maintenance/inspection of unvented gas fireplace set and chimney cleaning/inspection done. Technician Ethan was knowledgeable, efficient, thorough and very pleasant and respectful. He did find an issue with the exterior of the chimney, showed me a picture and explained needed repair. The office called shortly after he left to setup that appointment. All around good experience with SureGlow Stove and Chimney company.
In addition- review to include chimney work done by Robin and associate a week later was equally as professionally accomplished; both men also respectful, efficient and made sure the area was cleaned up before leaving.
Again, a great experience.

Are technician Chris was awsome. He was very respectful and professional. He kindly walk us through the process off what he was doing and how to operate the unit.

Austin was absolutely incredible. Very knowledgeable and very honest about his assessment. As a real estate agent I’ve worked with countless companies and I was thoroughly impressed with Austin and will be recommending him to anyone and everyone needing chimney inspections and this company for chimney work!

Luis and his apprentice were very polite and professional and did excellent, detailed work. SureGlow is an example of "buy once, cry once". Is it expensive? Yes, BUT they work with you to make it reasonable and you get what you pay for. It's forever guaranteed work as long as you do the maintenance w their company, also.

They had a work truck driving like an absolute maniac on 71 hwy. He was weaving between lanes, riding people's bumpers, and speeding in the middle of the rain. If they work like they drive, then I'd never use this service.

I chose this company, in part, because of their online reviews, and I’m happy now to add my comments to their great reputation. Jared came to our place to evaluate our existing wood stove after our pipes were damaged in a storm. Honestly, I was a bit surprised by the bid, but I needed the repair and moved forward with the project. I’m very glad I did. The install team was fantastic—leads Garrett & Spencer came with Brian and were meticulous in removing and resetting our stove and piping. The team made a point to ask about preferences and offer suggestions throughout their work, and I was impressed by the attention to detail and pride they all took in completing my job. When small snags arose, as they do with any task, they included me in the decision-making. In short, an incredibly positive experience with this company from start to finish. I feel confident we can use our stove safely this winter.

From the initial cleaning and inspection to all the work to bring my old fireplace and chimney up to code, Jacob, Joey, Tyler and Aiden were all very friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious. I would highly recommend SureGlow - they are a great company with quality people who care about craftsmanship and their customers. I look forward to Jacob’s expertise in my annual maintenance from here on out.

If you take anything from this review, just read the first line and run! I had this company out for an inspection and cleaning. My inspection failed due to cracks in my flue and the technician came back with two estimates. The estimates were red flags instantly and you could tell there was price gouging. I called four other chimney companies and sent my inspection report for their review/estimates. Two of those companies instantly called me back and said I had fire damage in my flue and that homeowner’s insurance could possibly cover my repairs. Sure enough my insurance covers my repairs due to FIRE DAMAGE in my FLUE, but when calling back this company and asking if they saw fire damage, the response was no. They blatantly lied to me and then tried to take advantage of me by overcharging the estimates. I called the company back and asked for a refund and the response was a flat no, that I signed a document agreeing to the charge. Imagine that a company that doesn't stand behind their work, so they have to have you sign a document to trap you. I could not be more disappointed at the customer service and the misleading/flat out disregard to me as a consumer.

Called SureGlow after having another company come in and inspect our fireplace and was told it wasn’t worth repairing. So glad I called for a second opinion. Aidan came and did the inspection. Was polite and professional. Explained in detail what repairs were needed and answered all the questions I had. Chris and Muhammad came the next week and made all the necessary repairs to get my fireplace back to working order. Everyone was so great from beginning to end! I’m so thankful I called here for that second opinion.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Tyler Gnad to repair my chimney. He started to come to my home around 1-3PM to start the job but got hung up with another customer and that delayed my time to around 7-8PM and stayed at my home until around 9:30PM that evening to finish the job. I was surprised when he came knocking on my door, he took care of everything that was needed as I was leaving town for a Thanksgiving dinner the next day. Tyler is a very dedicated tech and is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

We had a really good experience with our chimney inspection. Technician provided us excellent information! Although, it was not what we wanted to hear, we were pleased that he shared the details with us as to what was was wrong with the chimney.
