Lucy M.I strongly recommend NOT hiring A1 Sewer & Septic Service Inc. We are thousands of dollars into this situation, and after our experience, we do not trust their work or their word. We initially called A1 to snake a drain. They were unsuccessful and told us they would return the next day with a camera and hydro jetter. When their technician, Chris, arrived, he declined our offer to show him the other half of the basement and began working. He went into the wrong pipe, causing sewage water to explode out of a basement toilet and contaminate carpet, baseboards, boxes, and personal property. When I asked what we were going to do about the sewage, Chris said, "We'll deal with this later," and walked away. He later apologized, admitted fault in front of a witness, and assured us A1 would cover the cleanup at no charge. Based on that promise, we canceled our own cleaning crew. A1 later refused to pay, telling us Chris was nervous, "misspoke," and didn't have authority to make that promise. A1 then worked on our main sewer line, removed roots, and told us the line was clear. Less than ONE WEEK later, our sewer backed up again. We hired another company, and they removed a massive ball of roots that A1 had left behind. When we contacted A1 about the second backup, they refused to even send someone to the house and told us to send a picture instead. Customer service manager Phyllis was rude, Tim promised to call us back the next morning and never did, and we still have not received the footage we requested. A1 says they stand behind their work, but that was not our experience. They caused a sewage mess in our basement, backed out of their technician's promise to cover the cleanup, told us our sewer line was clear when it clearly was not, and provided terrible customer service afterward. Do not hire A1. We ultimately had to pay another company to address the problem they told us was already fixed and have done NOTHING to rectify the situation other than say their technician was nervous. The attached picture is what the second company pulled out AFTER they said the drain was clear... No chance they actually did the work they said they did!

John K.As repeat customers, we had been pleased with the services provided by this company in the past. We contacted them to fix a leak in a PVC drain that may have been caused by their previous technician snaking out the pipe. The current technician was unwilling to fix the leak because the drain configuration was not up to code-- although it was just fine when they put it in several years ago. We were charged in excess of $800 to reconfigure the line, eliminating a cleanoff fitting as well as a standpipe cap whose purpose was to keep water from the washing machine from overflowing onto the basement floor. We anticipate further problems but will cut our losses and use another company.

A1 and the crew; Colton, Jay, Mike, Ryan, Joe, Clay, Maria, Tiarrah and Lana were all SUPERB! Although this began as what I thought would be a routine tree root clean out, the main line back up was worse than I could have imagined. Mike -Supervisor, provided his suspected diagnosis’, scenarios and expert opinion on the most effective way to mitigate any further issues. I am so grateful to Mike and his crew for their kindness, professionalism and honesty. I will use this company for all my future needs from the most simple to complex. It has been a pleasure working with all of you considering the unexpected nature of the plumbing issue and financial set back. Kuddos.

Adrian did a wonderful job replacing our whole homes water pipe system. We had a bad experience with a local handyman and Adrian and A1 saved the day! We now how beautiful pipes with hot and cold water where it needs to go. They even cleaned up all the mess when they were done. I will always use A1 for all our plumbing needs!
