Crew did a great job clearing dead limbs and cleaned up all the dropped branches. Worked in cold and windy conditions

Joshua and Shane did amazing job in the snow cutting our neighbors oak tree…they asked my permission to come into our yard and protect a piece of our garden fence. They went above and took a large branch that fallen months ago from the neighbors tree into our yard away. I will use them when I need work here. 9211 Grandview dr OP

Called Davey to have a dead tree removed that was becoming unsafe to be around, not only was the company quick at scheduling, the Technician Anthony Williams was amazing and so friendly He made me, my wife and 2 little kids feel safe. On top of all of that, he had that tree down and chopped up in no time. I will be using Davey again, and telling everyone I know about it.

After moving into a new house that had much deferred maintenance on a number of trees, it was proving difficult to find a service that was knowledgeable both about trees and aesthetics. I had Davey recommended to me, and am SO glad we found them! Anthony came out quickly to give us estimates and talk through our trees, and then worked with us to get a team out to perform the job without a long wait. I am so impressed with the depth of knowledge here--they aren't just hacking branches off, they're truly caring for the trees and making them the best version of themselves. Very highly recommend!!

It has been a pleasure to work with the fellows at Davey Tree. We are trying to prolong the life of one fairly sick tree, and their suggestions have been helpful. We also have had some pruning work done and are very pleased with the job.

Davey Tree has been turned key from testing the tree for disease, removing the tree and finding a replacement!

I have been very disappointed with Davey's Tree. I had some trees I wanted to replace, some stumps to have removed, and more trees to be planted. Davey Tree first sent out a guy in early July. I liked his suggestions but never heard back from the company. I reached out by phone and email multiple times. I was told they were working on a quote the first time. After that no responses. I finally asked if they didn't want the business (after a month), and they said they lost the paperwork and would send out another person. Two people came out. I walked my yard with them and explained what we wanted. It took two weeks to get a quote, but some of the items were different than what we discussed. I emailed back and asked about a tree they suggested. It has been three more weeks. No response. I have spent 2.5 months trying to just get someone to give me an estimate and do the job, and it still hasn't happened.

I also found it frustrating that the person who came out first made recommendations that the second team recommended against.

Overall, I am disappointed with this company. I contacted another company and they met with me this week on Tuesday, followed up on Thursday and had a meeting with me today to show me the trees they would recommend. I would not waste my time or money with this company.

Big shout out for Cade, Josh, and Shane! They did a great job triming our trees. They were courteous, friendly and very professional. They provided advise on keeping our Japanese Maple instead of removing it. They cut up and put away some of the wood for our firewood pile. Highly recommend this company and their crew.

Davey really are the tree experts…totallly professional from the initial quote, to the awesome crew. 5 stars to the men who worked on our trees. Awesome!

Actually I would give them a 4.5 ☆. Ben came out and gave me a good quote that was competitive with another local tree co.
Plus, he was very friendly and gave me a 2 week window to get the job done. They actually came early and had it done before the 2 weeks.
It was a very difficult ash tree to remove. One side were power lines and the other side was my house. Hard working group of guys! Thank You!!

His vast knowledge in the field was refreshing which made me feel comfortable from the jump doing business with them. Then the crew Josh Cade and Shane did fluid, great work! Not only professional, but just fun to converse with making it feel more than just a business transaction. You can tell these gentlemen care about their customers. I would highly recommend this company and definitely this particular crew!

An Olathe, KS Davey Tree Service team came to help out my municipality in St. Louis, MO after the 5/16 tornado. They were working for the city of Clayton trimming damaged trees and removing trees too damaged to survive. The team of Chris and Shane were working on my street and could not have done a better job. Both were very courteous and seemed to go beyond what was expected to help residents clean up after the storm and their work. If I ever have trees again, I would not hesitate to call Davey.
