Lifestyle Outdoor has done all of my landscaping over the past three years. Their work is beyond stellar. Most recently Ulises and Steven planted two trees where dead ones had been removed. The guys were efficient, worked with care, answered my questions, and cleaned up so well you couldn’t even tell they were here. They also respectfully kept some hostas intact by putting them in pots for replanting. My neighbor declared my landscaping “magnificent!” Hers is pretty darn good, too, as she has also used Lifestyle Outdoor for her landscaping needs. So does the community I live in. I highly recommend Lifestyle Outdoor if you want beautiful landscaping and quality work with a personal touch. Thank you Ulises, Steven, and Justin!!!

Lifestyle is great to work with! They are responsive and respectful when it comes to their communication. The team takes pride in their work and will follow up on questions if there is anything that needs addressed during and after project completion. Ulises was especially receptive to feedback during installation, and I would personally like to recognize him for a job well done.

My husband and I hired Lifestyle Outdoor to completely redo all of the landscaping in front of our house—trees, shrubs, lighting—the whole nine yards. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Justin was easy to work with and put us at ease. He was receptive to our ideas, and then using his expertise, developed a great plan that was quickly approved by our HOA. Pete and his crew impressed us with the quality of their work, attention to detail, and cleanup—not only at the end of the job, but daily. They completed the job in three days. On day two we asked Justin to change out a couple of shrub species and he was eager to accommodate our request. After the job was done, a couple of landscape lights needed to be relocated and upgraded and once again Justin and Pete accommodated our request. My husband and I would highly recommend Lifestyle Outdoor to anyone wanting to change out or upgrade their landscaping.

The mulch was delivered on schedule and spread evenly. I noticed an area where the mulch seemed a bit light and they readily returned to fill it it. Well done.

ADDITIONAL REVIEW

Several months later, we found that a recently replaced driveway project had broken our entire sprinkler system. Outdoor quickly helped identify where the problem was located and coordinated with the concrete folks to make the least cost repair. After the driveway was sufficiently set up, Joe from Outdoor showed up and reconnected the water line before testing the whole system. Service was way above expectations and at a very reasonable cost. Great company with great people.

Great company to work with from design through installation. In addition to the new landscape and lighting they also, fixed the poor drainage at the back of our house and installed a beautiful stone staircase leading to the back patio. Lifestyle Outdoor Lawn Service is excellent! Joey came out within 24 hours to repair a leaky valve on my irrigation system. He took one look at it, and knew exactly what to do. Had the entire valve replaced within 15 minutes & the leak was fixed. Bonus: Joey arrived at the scheduled time, cleaned up after the repair, & had a very pleasant customer attitude . Summary: First class service and he knew what he was doing. I’ll call him again for my next repair! Good job! Peter B.

Did a poor job of landscaping. Refused to resolve my complaint, and then stopped corresponding with me.

New Leaf provides the most immaculate and impressive landscaping in Kansas City. They are also very grounded and reasonable people to work with on an expensive landscaping project.

We used this company to do the landscaping in our back yard after we built a pool. They were recommended by the pool company. We did not have a good experience working with them at all. We had several issues with the sprinkler system that should have been handled correctly from the start, dead trees in our yard for almost a year, and multiple phone calls and text messages that were completely ignored. At one point I had to call the company who built our pool to see if they could get the landscape company to call me back.

I just hired another company to come in and fix the work that wasn’t done correctly, which is costing me several thousand dollars.

One of the best landscape experiences we've had! The crews got there early, worked super hard, even in the heat. I couldn't believe what they got done in the first day. The final product turned out awesome, already getting compliments on the quality of the work. They even fixed some sprinklers that a previous company messed up. We can't wait to have New Leaf back out to do more work around the yard. Thanks!

New Leaf did a fantastic job on our landscape job following the construction of our pool. They are very creative, provided a comprehensive plan, and executed it on time and even better than we were expecting. They did the job from November 2023 thru February 2024, and they have us in good shape going into the spring.

Built a retaining wall for me today. Completed the project in a day, did high quality work, was professional and great to work with. Also replanted all of the pants in the bed for me and cleaned up the worksite when he was done. Would use again for sure!
