Absolutely 5 stars for Ace Handyman Service! I needed a water heater replaced, and they exceeded all expectations. They showed up right on time, were extremely professional throughout the entire process, and offered a very reasonable price. The work was done quickly and efficiently with no mess left behind. It’s rare to find a company that combines punctuality, professionalism, and affordability so well. Highly recommend!

Paul Cobb worked on my basement joists, they were cracked. We fixed it with sister board, wood glue, nails and screws. The guy is very knowledgeable, patient and professional. He not only got the work done but let me help and learn (took his time and explained everything we did). I highly recommend Ace handyman, they are very well priced.

Paul from Westlake Ace was on time, prepared to do the work, and explained his plan in advance of doing the work. It wasn't a large job to remove the broken siding and replace it; however, it was in a challenging location on our roof. He safely did the job, in an efficient time frame, and I am pleased with the result. I recommend.

Terrible Sloppy Unacceptable Work. We are very Unhappy and Unsatisfied.
We hired a handyman service (Ace Handyman Services in Johnson County) to remodel our 8ftx5ft Master Bathroom. We supplied all the materials and appliances (toilet, vanity, shower kit (including shower walls, glass doors, shower panel), light fixtures, two mirrors, mosaic glass tiles, electric supplies, LVP flooring, baseboard trim, exhaust fan (for a direct swap: no special wiring required) – all necessary items for the bathroom, and they were to install them. Job started on Monday 02/24/25. Halfway through the job they said they needed $8,000.00 more to finish the job or they would stop working on Friday 02/28/25. We didn’t agree to pay them any additional funds for the job, and they stopped working on Friday 02/28/25. We feel that we shouldn’t have to pay them because they didn’t finish the job that they quoted for $8,125.00. As of today, 03/13/2025, I have a non-functional bathroom, it is missing crucial items - there is no toilet, no vanity, no shower that I can use because no shower doors installed (part of my shower kit), no mirrors, no light fixtures, no tiles, no paint on walls and ceiling, no baseboards on the floor. One of their contractors messed up my shower walls during the drywalling around the shower: hardened mud from drywalls cannot be taken off and if scraped off it would damage the surface of the shower walls, and shower walls are not tiles but some acrylic type materials. The drywall job was terrible! Their craftsmen lied about the hours spent on a job, came unprepared for the job (not having necessary tools to do the work), bought some tools and submitted receipts for me to pay (??), they attached duplicated receipts with the larger amounts in the calculation, they added the refunded receipts to the calculation, not deducted them. They left me with damages, a non-functioning bathroom, incomplete job and they were saying it is $8,595.79 for that incomplete job. Terrible Sloppy Unacceptable Work. We are very Unhappy and Unsatisfied.
Do not use this scam of a company!!

Shawn went above and beyond and was very professional and listened to what our overall goal was and exceeded our expectations. Shawn installed some baseboard and quarter round trim! He also did one coat of drywall.

Paul also did some insulation install, sub flooring and drywall! Ace Handyman Services also sent a photo of each repair tech before they showed up at our front door and the repair tech personally called me the night before to understand the project. Very affordable company who truly have the right two guys doing a solid job and you can tell Shawn and Paul care about their work!

Richard was knowledgeable and trustworthy. Within 1 day, Mr. Handyman was able to come up and help me with my issue. I will definitely be recommending and using them again in the future!

I had a leak under my kitchen sink so I called Mr. Handyman. They sent Muchael Jackson to my rescue. He took a look at the problem, made a game plan & executed it in a very timely manner. Michael's work was very clean & professional. I would highly recommend Mr. Handyman if you need help around your home.

I am extremely happy with the exterior repair work that was done. Although there were some scheduling snafus and the original estimate was a bit low, I am very satisfied with the finished product and would highly recommend Mr. Handyman of Olathe for your home improvement project.

We needed an interior door and frame removed; drywall added to re-frame the resulting opening; a new electrical outlet installed; and painting of 2 interior hallways and 2 interior stair wells.

Kyle came to fix my sliding glass door. He was very professional, polite, and efficient. I had received another quote and that service provider was trying to overcharge me and told me he had to take the entire door down in Oder to fix it. Kyle knew exactly what the issue was and was able to get the door back on its track without taking the door down. Highly recommend Mr. Handyman for any repair needs.

I would rate my experience with Mr Handyman as a 4.5 to 4.7. The only reason they didn't get a 5.0 is because the first installation was the substandard. However they went above and beyond to correct the problem with their "Done Right Promise".
Ultimately, I was quite satisfied with their customer service.

What a great service. They kept in touch by a text, letting me know when they would be here. If you need a handyman, ask for Blake.. They came back to finish the job and came in exactly as estimated.

I was very pleased with the service and results for work done by Mr handyman. Kyle did a great job. He was on time, correctly did the repairs, answered my questions and cleaned up everything before he left. Will schedule them for more work.

Richard did an amazing job! What could have turned into a few days and pretty expensive work didn’t happen because of how diligent Richard was in trying to resolve our problem with our window. He did everything he could to find a solution that wasn’t going to mean we had to tear out the whole window and he did and for that we are very grateful!

Peter did an excellent job on our sliding door lock repair. We enjoyed visiting with him, too! We’re very pleased with your work and will keep you in mind when we have other needs.

Darrin was great. We had a very difficult challenge--putting new rollers on our very heavy patio door that wasn't sliding very well. But he took time to understand it and the patiently tackled it, sticking with it until he got it fixed.
