have been using Enviromental Services for about 10 years now. I just had my HVAC serviced for summer Jerry the service tech.
Was right on time as usual. He has been my tech for the last three years. He is very knowledgeable and does quality work. Shana that works in the office has been great with scheduling. I've had several scheduled appointments that I had to cancel at the last minute. She has been great to get me rescheduled. As far as emergency service.
Last year my A/C quit working on the 4th of July weekend. Within 3 hours Jerry had me back in service and Chillin. lol. I might add that I live approximately 35 miles from their shop. Definitely 5 out of 5 rating from me. -
They are not a Trane dealers They lied to me said they would honor a Trane warranty! Showed up said they would order a part. never called back. I called them said they are not a Trane dealer anymore, said more than 60 days ago! Would not talk about the warranty I bought thru Environmental Systems ! Then hung up on me! This is fraudulent ! Their website as of July 9 2019 still shows them as an authorized Trane dealer! Lying ,cheating ,frauds. BEWARE

We contacted them several months ago regarding our Trane outside a/c unit. It was freezing up. We purchased the unit 7 years ago from the previous owner and it was still under warranty!
Environmental Systems is now under new ownership so they came out and checked the a/c and without using any gauges etc, told us we needed a new compressor, or a brand new unit... which was strange because the compressor was clearly running! It was so loud I could hear it in the house! I kept asking how he’d determined the problem and he kept side stepping the issue! He said there were problems with the Trane units! It was also difficult to get him to return my calls!
Thankfully, I got a second opinion and found out we didn’t need a new compressor or the new unit after all! It just needed Freon!
Wow! Had we listened, it would have cost a minimum of 2K for a new compressor or a maximum of approximately $4500.00 for a new unit! Consumer beware! -
Our central air unit stopped working and these guys came out the next day , in this they were very accommodating, he added some coolant and changed a fuse, it worked for about 6 hours, then stopped again while we were out of town, they came over promptly when we got back right before July 4th and informed us that our compressor went out and we needed a new system! How he didnt notice this when he "looked our system over" a couple days before is odd........ I don't mind paying for the fuse and the coolant but still feel we shouldn't be charged for the service call! He didnt fix it and missed the actual problem!

They installed my a/c and coil about 3 yrs ago. I recently noticed that I had coolant leaking and thought it might be the coil which is still under warranty. They came out to look at it and the the tech said it would be $95 for a service fee. He then went outside for a while and came back in and said since he had been there over 20 minutes it was going to cost $150. He hadn’t done anything other than come to check on a part that was still under warranty. I paid the $95 service fee. When I called the office they said I would just need to call someone else and refused service because I didn’t pay the additional fees. They will not service any of the parts that are still under warranty in the future.

I only review facts folks, this one wasn’t good.
Called on a Tuesday. Arrived on a Thursday afternoon. Swell! Tech arrived, went through the system. Identified the most likely issue as the comms board. Now, I do have an off-brand unit. Serial and model numbers are present. He left with needing to do some research to find my part. Fast forward to Friday. No call. Had to call him. Said later he tried to call but my VM was full? It’s not. I was told he has a call in to the Goodman (my units mother brand) to find my board. Still no heat. Let’s fast forward again to the following Wed. I had to call them yet again. I was asked to take another photo of the board, meaning I was with the tech when one was already taken. Translated, I was forgotten about. And this is of no importance to them.
So…I called a very well known company to try to get heat. Unfortunately I live rural and out of most service regions. But he felt terrible for me and my situation and assisted. Found my part. But even better let me know I can have heat by simply installing a universal board, one in which all his trucks have 3 at all times for this situation. Now, being a Superintendent for a massive construction company, I fact checked this and it rang true. They absolutely do work. Moral is, proceed with caution. $185 for not much of anything and feel as though my patronage was either not wanted or not lucrative enough. Wasn’t happy with Environmental Services.
