One Stop Home Remodeling did an amazing install for my exterior doors! Management is quick to respond to any questions or concerns that arose. The actual install team were timely and maintained a clean work area throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend them if you need work done on your home!

Carmelo has helped us design and remodel both our basement and our kitchen (photo attached), and he and his crew have always done amazing work. We had an excellent experience with One Stop Home Remodeling. Carmelo and his team installed new kitchen cabinets and backsplash for us and painted a large part of the interior of our home. Carmelo did an outstanding job of communicating and providing expert teams based on the needs of the job at hand. His teams paid extra attention to protecting surrounding rooms, cabinets and floors and keeping things as clean as possible. When concerns did arise, Carmelo was proactive to develop solutions and he bent over backwards to make everything work and look wonderful. We would definitely work with One Stop Home Remodeling on any future projects and highly recommend them for anyone else in need of these services.

One Stop Home Remodeling was a true professional organization starting with the owner of the company, Carmelo along with every employee that worked on our project. Our basement remodel done by One Stop Home Remodeling was handled with care and consideration ensuring every step of the process that included painting and new flooring was completed in an exceptional manner. A lead worker checked in with us multiple times per day and gave us updates of progress. Carmelo stopped by frequently to check on the project and to ensure everything was being completed to our satisfaction.

Carmelo and his crew at One Stop Home Remodeling are the absolute BEST in KC!!! Carmelo is creative, and has the ability to think outside the box to make your home remodel exactly like what you dreamed it could be! Also, the “one stop” is true. His crew is skilled in every trade I can think of- except I believe he told me he doesn’t do carpet. Carlos, Dayan, Gabriel, & Ervin are professional, trustworthy, dependable, and detailed. We have used them twice now- once for a complete kitchen remodel and now for a home remodel for accessibility for my elderly parents. We even asked them for a bathtub cut out- which they said they had never done before, but they researched it, and it was completed perfectly! I promise, you will not be disappointed!

We worked with Carmelo and his crew to finish our basement. It was truly a 5 star experience from initial consultation to the final walk through. Him and his crew are professional, kind, punctual, and trustworthy. Carmelo was extremely transparent with the projected costs and sent us an updated pdf every week showing our budget- how much we had spent so far and how much we had to go. He was so detailed that he even sent us every receipt for materials purchased. Him and his crew finished the project in less time than was initially projected which was a pleasant surprise. There’s a reason this business has an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau, and a full 5 stars on google reviews. His vision, his professionalism, his availability to answer any and all questions- everything far exceeded our expectations. We’ve worked with many contractors in the past but this experience was by far the best. Thank you, Carmelo!

I always found my stuff there

$7000 for a complete AC and furnace system on Friday and it stopped cooling by Sunday afternoon. That in addition to an installation that was so bad I asked HD to remove it on Monday. HD subcontracted with one company that subcontracted with third company each blowing me off, telling me I needed to talk to the other company or department! In the meantime HD sent out repair men to try to figure out why it didn’t work. A few weeks later they found a defective coil leaking. Keep in mind I continued to ask them to take it back and give me a refund. Week after that it still wasn’t cooling right. After TWO summer months with no AC they figured out the remaining problems. By then summer was over but they assure me it would work next summer! I never stopped asking for them to take it back but after they finally got it going they took the attitude of " Why are you complaining, we fixed it didn't we?" In the end no one ever took ownership of any wrong doing but the HD corporate customer service graciously offered me a Home Depot gift card in exchange for signing a legal contract to keep quiet. What good is a gift card to a store like this? No one in their right mind would buy from a store that did this to them. Especially after being a loyal Home Depot customer for decades, but not after this train wreck of a buying experience. So why the bad review of this store? This is the store I contacted to purchase the system and the manager of this store blew me off after one of the managers of the subcontracted companies told him the problem was a customer with "unrealistic expectations". He either didn't read my emails or was more concerned with keeping his subcontractors happy over a customer. How do you want to be treated? It’s an easy choice for me since Lowe's is across the street.
