You can get lawn services from anyone in town but, it's the intangibles they provide such as consulting, personal care and attention to detail that set this team apart from anything else in our area. They educate you on your lawn and plants and do it because they care!

These guys showed up at my house, buried 4 downspouts, and mulched the entire area in a few hours to fix my drainage problems that caused a marsh in my side yard. Very very professional and fast. Reasonably priced as well. They WILL be hired for more work.

Jason came out and spent about an hour looking over the property and asked a few pertinent questions. He then prepared the proposal, including diagrams overlaid over the GPS landscape map.

We chose his proposal because it was reasonable, because we were convinced of the company's expertise when looking at other completed projects and the guarantee of parts and labor.

Installation was quick and healing of disturbed ground will continue in the spring.

Great Kansas City landscaping company. They did the sprinkler system in our new house as well as all the front landscaping. They have been mowing our lawn for the last two years. We can't say enough about the lawn mowing crew - they are very detailed and careful. If you're looking for KC landscapers, these are your guys.

Back in the early 90s, i can remember Chris doing our landscaping and doing a great job. I had no idea he actually owned Lightning. I was pleasantly surprised when , in 2016 , i moved back to KC to see that not only was Lightning still around , but thriving under the same owner. Chris Edin. The boys over there work their butts off. They just did a drip irrigation job over here and they did great. Im proud to have those Lightning flags in my yard , and you ought to be to.

Exceeding our expectations, the Lightning crew executed a complete makeover of our backyard. The consult was professional and prompt, receiving a competitive bid the following day. The project began as promised - prepping the tortured lawn, then installing drainage, sod and mulch. The crew was respectful of our property, tidying up each day and kept us apprised of next steps. We could not be more pleased - exceptional work!

We've been working with Lightning Landscape for many years now. They do all of our landscaping and lawn care (except mowing... we have neighbor kids for that.) They do great work and at a reasonable price. They show up when they say the will. I highly recommend Lightning Landscape... my brother uses them... my parents use them... they are just great.

I would highly recommend this organization after speaking directly with the owner, Chris. He was able to assist me with a scheduling issue I had promptly and to my satisfaction. His team made sure my sprinkler heads were working correctly and I feel confident if I have any issues they will address them.

Lightning did an expensive overhaul of our front yard with new plants, rocks, mulch and sod. This was after we had to dig up our front yard due to a sewer pipe leak. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but it was done quickly and very professionally. The whole crew was very easy to work with. Lightning is at the top of my list of any contractor I’ve ever worked with and I am 71 years old!

Sim and his team did an outstanding job with our backyard landscaping project. Sim was creative and thoughtful with his design and really listened to our desire for low maintenance, hardy plants. The cost of the project was very reasonable and they were quick to get us scheduled. Sim arrived with a large crew to complete the project in a day and they were extremely considerate and kept the yard tidy. We couldn’t be happier with Sim and his crew and have hired them for our front yard project as well.

I switched to Lightning Landscape a few years ago after an unsatisfactory experience with another lawn care company. They have been reliable, and very attentive.

I went through several companies before hiring Lightening, as I always had issues with the other companies. Lightening has done an amazing job of addressing my issues that others failed to do. Anytime I have a question, I call and they are very informative, helpful, and if necessary come out and address the issue immediately. They are so very friendly-all of their staff! I highly recommend them. THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY.
