Exceptional experience with Lightning! Had a fairly sizable job replacing almost everything in my front planting beds. Alex was helpful and responsive in the front end getting the plan and estimate together. Derek was the project manager and he was wonderful to work with during the execution phase. He even went and picked out several palms and plants to pot in our backyard. Thanks to both of you! Highly recommended.

The landscaping was way beyond our expectations. The men were friendly, professional, and hardworking. Alex, the landscaper, worked with us to ensure we liked his ideas. He explained how to care for the flowers and bushes. Can’t wait to see everything in bloom. Great, honest company.

Lightning landscaping and Irrigation has been caring for our irrigation system for years. They are prompt and extremely knowledgeable about my system. Because of their expertise, my lawn and plants are all watered perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about their work.

Their website says they service the Kansas City metropolitan area but the customer service representative said they don’t come north of the river. She also claimed their service would exceed our budget without providing a cost. They may provide quality landscaping service but their customer service was unprofessional.

I have been using Lightning Landscape for several years now for most of my landscaping needs. Working with Alex who helped me figure out what shrubs and perennials would look great with my home was a great experience. Before working with him, I went through several major changes in landscaping, but I was never totally satisfied. I now feel that my flower beds look better than ever, and I plan to keep them just like they are. I used a large well known lawn company for many years but was never totally satisfied with the appearance of my grass, and weeds would pop up frequently. This season marks either the second or third season that I have used their lawn treatment services. The grass has never looked better, there is much less issue with random weeds sprouting up, and I have received multiple compliments on how lush and green my grass is. I highly recommend Lightning Landscape for all of your landscaping needs!

I can’t say enough good things about our backyard renovation with Lightning Landscape during the Spring of 2023. We went from a makeshift fire pit area surrounded by weeds to a 1300 ft paver patio with short retaining wall. We also included a built in fire pit and water feature. Alex helped us plan our project and oversaw it from beginning to end. The entire project took about two months, and included drainage, lighting, and irrigation. Every worker we encountered was polite and obviously took pride in their work. They were also terrific in keeping a clean work site and helping us keep the peace with our neighbors during this process.

We are so happy with the high quality results. Their workers are true craftspeople. I love sitting outside and watching the birds play in the fountain. Sometimes I take my computer outside to work. It has drastically improved our enjoyment of our home and I’m so glad we didn’t wait any longer to do it! You should definitely consider Lightning for your landscape/hard scape project.
