We contracted with Cliffy Care to lay sod, spread grass seed, fix our brick entry stairs, fix some outdoor stone paving slabs, create rock borders around our planting beds and repair our sprinkler system. They did excellent work. Ian went out of his way to follow-up and to take care of some odds and ends that needed adjustment. He was prompt in returning phone calls and he showed up when he said he would. Their price was a little high, but reasonable and, in the end, well worth it. I highly recommend them.

Cliffy Care Landscaping just completed a total renovation of our front yard last week. The crew was hardworking and we are very pleased with the results. I appreciated quick response times from Ian Clifford, owner, for the bid, further planning and questions, and also for his close involvement in the process. Pat, the foreman, and his young crew were knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to work with. They showed up on time and did a good job of cleaning up at the close of the day and also at the end of the job. I can highly recommend their work.

We hired Cliffy Care Landscaping to install new plantings and a stone block wall in our front yard. It looks great and they did a fantastic job. Throughout the process Ian, Brooke, Pat and their crew were very responsive and courteous regarding our questions, concerns, and change requests. And they did all this in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. Thank you for a job well done.

We have had them do a couple of jobs at our house. Both times they have done great work and have been very easy to work with.

Cliffy Care did an irrigation system and some minor landscaping for us, and they did a great job! They started two days ahead of schedule. The system was done well, and it is working great! The crew was really friendly and happy to answer my questions. Ian, the crew leader, was really great to work with, and we were able to adjust the landscaping plans on the fly as we needed to. We will definitely call Cliffy Care again!

Nothing but great things to say about Ian, Lou and the crew. They were nice, professional, on time, efficient and did an outstanding job on my pond fix. They put a new liner in the upper 2 tiers to fix leaks and replaced all the stone in a way that gave the pond a much better look. They got the job done in basically one day (they drained the pond the night before and were done the next day by noon).

I really enjoyed working with Ian and his team. We received bids from several companies for seed, bush removal, and fixing drainage. His pricing was appropriate and his communication was very good. The job started on time and they exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond the contract to make sure everything turned out great and I was happy. 100% recommend and will use again

They were great! Installed pavers, block walls and landscaping and we love it! They were great to work with through the design process (3-d layout) and were very patient with us! The install was very professional and seamless. Would definitely use them again!

I have not yet had the landscaping done but have it scheduled in a month. The communication, responsiveness, and design drafts have exceeded my expectations. I will update after the project is complete.

Update: The crew has completed my landscaping and I couldn't be happier. They worked even when I was sure that the weather was going to derail their day. I can't express the gratitude I have for the wonderful work and stellar communication! It seems to be rare with so many other service businesses.

I am beyond pleased with the work Cliffy care did for me. They definitely exceeded my expectations for this project. They showed up early and added on a second project while they were here. They took some clutter from my property and left the place immaculate! Ian is so kind and friendly and Miguel is very skilled at his craft! The before and after is stunning! Thank you Cliffy Care!!

Ian put in some pavers, moved and adjusted our sprinklers, and put in some ornamental grasses and magnolia tree around our storm drain.

He and Chance are just the greatest to work with. He helped decide where to plant everything, and suggested which plants would thrive best in different soil types and moisture levels.

Ian was great about communicating when he could start, getting his estimate to us, and even coming back after he finished to trouble shoot for us.

Just the best to work with and he’s quite the artist with a concrete saw! Thanks for all your hard work, could not be happier!

Canes did an incredible job on our basement bar counter and counter top!!!

We had hired Canes to do a tear off of t1-11 siding and replace with James Hardie siding. It was a fairly small job around 2 Bay windows. We were told by Steven Spallo, one of the owners, that the job would take only 2 days. They began March 24th. $12,000 approx cost.

Work began and the job had some hiccups like lots of popped nails inside finished rooms in interior space. Upwards of 20 on 2 different walls and the job taking longer than they quoted. One day, they just stopped coming.

I messaged the owner, Steven, on April 16th after we were called they day before and told the painters would be by and nobody showed up again. No response. I called with no answer.

A week later I get a call from a different owner who said Steven had up and quit and they were trying to catch up with all the clients to finish jobs. Several of the main guys came to look at thr shoddy siding work, and after finding out the siding crew didn't use the right weather joints and the gaps in trim were so large, they would have to re-do the whole job.

More delays and they finally came and re-ripped off siding (more nail pops) and replaced all the siding. Painted and gutters all finally finished 3 months past the original start date. Three months for a two day job. No discount, no attempt to make it right.

I wouldn't use this company again, unless I really was feeling masochistic and needed a good punishment. Beware of what they tell you and prepare yourself emotionally before signing that contract.

**also, Steven now started his own company, Monarch Exteriors. He is still out there in Kansas City.
