Mid-American Gunite Pools recently completed a pool renovation for us. They were honest, efficient and great to work with! When plaster work was completed, Mid-America's quality control person noticed rough spots and work that was not up to their standards. Much of it wasn't visible to us, but they were not satisfied with the finished product. So they once again removed the plaster (via jackhammer) and started the process over. They apologized to us for the extra time it took, but obviously we were thrilled that they placed the highest standards on their work and our satisfaction. The end result is a beautiful, smooth finish and one very satisfied customer!
Our pool was about 25 years old, built originally by another builder, and was renovated 10-12 years ago just prior to our purchase. The original pool builder did the renovation and applied the new plaster directly on top of the original plaster without first adding any bonding agent. So we began to see cracks and then had some sections break off.
Without hesitation I called Mid-American, because they had built a beautiful pool for me 30 years ago and were always very professional to deal with. We were very pleased with their attention to detail, full disclosure, outstanding work and professionalism throughout the process!

We have been a customer for over 30 years. Mid-America built our first pool on 1990. They maintained it until we moved in 2016. Then they put in new all new equipment and resurfaced our new pool and continue to open and close every year. This is a great company with great people. The maintenance guys are the best. We look forward to seeing them every year.

As always mid American did an awesome close for us. They remodeled our pool a few years ago and knocked that out of the park so we continue to have them open and close us every year. Their service and efficiency is always top notch. Highly recommend:)

Mid American Pools did a total renovation to our 16 year old gunite pool. We worked with Kaitlyn on what needed to be done, the contract, and product selection. She was always available in a timely manner to answer and follow-up on questions. When the renovation started we worked with Charlie. When issues arose, Charlie provided recommendations on how to address them and was very transparent in pros and cons, and costs. Our experience with Mid American Pools was excellent. They are a very professional and reliable company.

Very impressed with how Mid American has managed and implemented this pool build. From the owners, to the sales staff, and the different teams in the trades everyone has been great to work with. The respect everyone on the team has shown to our property, our family and our dogs has been a welcoming surprise.

Service after the sale? YES! Mid-American built our pool in 2012 and they are STILL responsive to our pool maintenance needs. I have them open and close our pool each year and, when I have a maintenance need, they are extremely responsive.

I noticed that one of our automatic actuator valves had failed on 7/3/25. I sent them an email requesting a service call to replace it, and they responded to my email immediately letting me know it was on their scope. On 7/8, they sent a team of Luke and AJ out to fix it. Well done!

Lots of companies talk about "service after the sale." These guys live up to that promise. I highly recommend them!

This company came quickly and removed all traces of water damage and sealed the surfaces. They did a quick and efficient job removing and cataloging the contents and fixing what could be fixed.
