I own several properties which I've had Northern Kentucky inspections do all my inspections and work there are great bunch of guys and they have a dog named Buddy and chunka I am very picky about my houses but I will never buy or sell another house without getting nki.Ive had a mold inspection done and Rick & Ashley and there dog Chunka were the best people that I have ever met.Mr.Wells the owner of the company is a really professional man and is very smart and really knows his work .Thank you guy very much.

Rob is very helpful and knowledgeable of his work. Helps provide details about his efforts and findings. I would refer him to anyone needing the work. Should you need advice on home issues/mold, definitely can trust Rob.

My son was given the name of this inspector and used him recently to look at a house he was purchasing as a first time home buyer. He was not given any info on price up-front and was charged over $1,000 for an inspection. I was in real estate for 6 years and no inspection ever cost that much. He also did not inspect the attic and used a drone to check the roof without actually getting on the roof to check for any issues. If you can’t get into the attic or whatever the reason was that you didn’t go up there then you should be walking that roof to check for issues. Especially for $1,000. He sounds completely unprofessional due to spelling and grammar issues and you can’t even understand half of what he’s trying to say. He didn’t know what a generator interlock was on the electric panel which was clearly marked. If you’ve been doing this 30+ years you should know what things are and said the dishwasher wasn’t functional because he didn’t read that you had to hold the power button for 3 seconds for it to come on. Beware and don’t use him. You can get a great inspection for about half the price. When he was questioned about the price none of the numbers added up. They were one price on the inspection report, my son was charged a different price and I was told in an email a different price. He also owns a handyman service so I’d be leary to use him for that either. First time homebuyers be careful. I know you’re not familiar with how this works but he’s a rip off. If I could give a zero I would.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. I called Monday to get a quote and inquire about availability for a house we are purchasing. As we are first time home buyers, we weren’t really sure of the process and what inspections we needed. Rob was very upfront and honest about what we should/shouldn’t get done and certainly didn’t want to waste my money or time. They were able to get to the house less than 48 hours later on Wednesday, and gave the final report back before 5pm on Wednesday evening. Rob sent not only multiple images of things found on inspection, but a detailed description for those of us who don’t know what we are looking at in the images. He sat on the phone with us for 30 minutes giving us a detailed idea of what was found on inspection and what repair would look like. He didn’t take payment until we were completely satisfied with his work. I am completely happy with our decision to choose Northern Kentucky Inspections for our home inspection. Would rehire again, and will recommend to everyone I know who is looking for an inspection. I will gladly give FIVE STARS to this wonderful business!

We just recently bought a home and my Family was feeling down. No Energy. Kind of drained upper respiratory problems. So we found Rob Wells at NorthernKentucky inspections, and he did some testing in the house. Ins. Sure enough. He found the problem with the Help from the lab, they got us someone to clean it up, and everything is good. I did not get the inspection since we switched lenders and they wanted to use a different inspector. I sent a text message to Rob to let him know prior to. He called to confirm the appointment that evening and when I told him over the phone he cussed at me, called me a liar and said he didn’t receive any text.

If you value working with a company that will treat you respectfully I would not recommend this one.

Rob and his team literally saved my family’s life! He came out for a sewage inspection and found a massive carbon monoxide leak in place several other “professionals” have been. I had Rob bring his team to inspect a home I'm in the process of buying and not only did he take his time to explain all the different things he was looking out for to me, but he made it easy to understand for someone who has next to no inspection experience. He was very thorough and took time to check everything that he could to make sure my family and I were moving into a solid first home. He was courteous, and professional, offering advice and caution where needed, but not aggressively like some sort of scare tactic, just genuine "lookin out for" that you don't see as often anymore, and was a great choice in making sure our first home was a solid pick.
