Martin Thomas and Landscape Alternatives designed and installed a paver wall and patio for us in 2007 and did a beautiful job. So we asked them to come back in 2020 to clean it for us. As before, the guys were friendly, professional and hard working. They repaired one area of the patio, power washed all the pavers and installed new poly sand. It looks great!

Martin Thomas and Pedro did a wonderful job in my backyard. I have limited space, but they were able to brick a small patio, enlarging the entertaining area. Arborvitae were planted as a screen making the area so much more inviting. I was given a timeline, and they delivered. I would highly recommend this company.

Landscape Alternatives and Martin Thomas are absolutely fabulous. We had them manage the front of our house in Georgetown, KY and love them. Best money spent. I highly recommend them. You will be glad you hired them. The men were conscientious of their work and cleaned up after themselves. They got the job done well and timely.

My husband and I have been very pleased with the planning and implementation of six different spaces on our property. This included pavers, stone edging, shrubbery, trees and various plants, all mature,beautiful and healthy.
As you can imagine, the project took 3 days to complete and the crew was always prompt , professional and polite. Martin was always available for communication , follow-up care instructions were provided and the cost was quite reasonable .

Great company to do business with! Martin and his crew are very professional and do nice work. Great communication, on time and made sure we were happy. He recently installed two retaining walls, a paver stone patio and completely edged and mulched our flower beds. All the work looks great and I will do more business with Landscape Alternatives in the future.

Landscape Alternatives just completed a complete overhaul of my backyard and I love it! It's a small space and Martin Thomas came up with a wonderful design that is beautiful and fits my needs. We worked with Martin at Landscape Alternatives to install a patio in our backyard and to replace our old, rotting wooden fence. They were wonderful! Martin worked with us to develop a great design that would fit our budget. Even with major weather delays, the work was completed efficiently, and the neighbors commented about how quiet the workers were. My favorite part -- my 3 1/2-year-old son was home one day during the work, and he was clearly fascinated by all the big machines. One of the employees even let him "drive" the post-hole digger -- he loved being a helper! The employees even took a few minutes at the end of a long work day to play with my son for a bit. We'd recommend Landscape Alternatives to anyone!

I am very happy with the way our project turned out. We replaced rotten railroad ties with engineered stone, and had our parking area levelled and covered with stone. Martin's crew completed the work quickly and professionally. They even cleaned up the job site each day before leaving. We plan to have them come back to do more work for us in the spring.

Landscape Alternatives was a great experience from start to finish. Mr. Thomas came to our home twice to give an estimate and answer our questions before we decided to choose them for our project. They actually got started sooner than we had originally discussed, and finished ahead of the expected time. The crew worked all day every weekday until it was complete, and we were impressed with how professional they were and the equipment they used. They built a retaining wall, a paver pool patio, and graded our yard. We felt their prices were very reasonable for the quality work they completed. They listened to all of our needs and made it happen. We would definitely use them again for any outdoor projects!

Several years ago I began purchasing all my trees and shrubbery from Landscape Alternatives after meeting Martin Thomas at a chamber of commerce meeting in Georgetown. Martin's crew always does a tremendous job from start to finish. About a year ago I had Landscape Alternatives begin treating my lawn to obtain the results I had been trying to get on my own for several years. In just one season of treatments the appearance of my yard has been transformed for the better saving me money and time. The next step will be to have the Landscape Alternatives team construct the patio that Martin has designed for us.

We are very happy with the landscaping work done by Landscape Alternatives. They added stone edging around our flower beds and added a new planting bed. Everything was done in 2 days and looks great. Martin was very easy to work with and would definitely recommend them.

Their services were phenomenal. The design, communication, price, professionalism, and execution were all top of the line. So happy we chose them for our property.

Great experience! Martin and his crew did a fantastic job! Our trees and shrubs look great! Martin drew a custom plan and strategically placed each one so as to enhance our view of our yard for years to come. Maybe not the cheapest around but remember, you get what you pay for! Did I mention he was on time for all of our appointments and installation? That says a lot for his business as I have dealt with many contractors in the past. I will definitely be using Landscape Alternatives for my next yard project!

We completed a large scale project that included a new stone patio, fireplace, wall, drainage and a tremendous amount of landscaping. We worked with Martin from the start on planning, and he was available throughout the progress for consultation on this extensive project. The crew was wonderful, hard-working, reliable and very skilled. There were a few bumps along the way (not unexpected with a project this scale), but Martin worked with us to resolve things expediently and satisfactorily. We could not be more pleased with the result- our yard is now a new living space, love the fireplace and patio, and cannot wait to see the trees, shrubs and flowers in the spring. I use Landscape Alternatives for lawn service for a few rental properties (apartment buildings & houses) that I own and they do a spectacular job! I decided to have them do work at my personal residence and I was so impressed. I had them add a stone walking path from my house to my barn so my family and I could stop walking in wet grass and mud. We had already made a straight line path by walking it over the years but they designed a beautiful and esthetically pleasing path made of very large stones. The price of the job was very fair and appropriately priced. I can’t wait to come up with another project for them to do.

Landscape Alternatives helped my wife and I with removing our old, eye sore of a deck and replace it with a beautiful walkout patio and installing a gas logs fireplace. The stone pavers work is gorgeous and the fireplace masonry work is excellent. They were exceptional at communicating us on the plan/timeline for each step in the project and coordinated their work with our gas plumber so we could feed a gas line to the pad they were pouring for the fireplace. I would highly recommend this company and the project manager, Martin Thomas, for any of your outdoor landscaping or patio needs. My wife and I are in love with our new patio!

Our home was missing an outdoor space to relax, unwind and gather with family and friends. Landscape Alternatives made that dream come true. They installed an elegant patio with a walkway leading to a grill area as well as a main walkway and retaining wall from the patio to the driveway. This was all done in Brussels Block pavers with Copthorne accents. It's so beautiful!! Martin's team does excellent work. They have the experience and it shows!

We had a terrible grade with a rickety deck that had to be removed. Martin created a solution and they graded our backyard with an amazing retaining wall and beautiful pavers!! They went above and beyond in ensuring they made the most of our space. Martin and Pedro were both easy to work with and happy to answer any questions. (Pedro is an exceptionally kind person) They were there when they said they would be and worked hard. We couldn't be happier!! In fact, we've asked them to come back and work on our driveway!
