Do you need insulation? Do you want to feel like you got the family hook up? Not only very competitive estimates but quality work as well. The professionals that showed up made me feel very comfortable. They even had those little shoe covers on. Dean is ready to answer any questions that I forgot to ask. Very very knowledgeable. After the job was done and the men left I looked around extra close for any scratches or maybe dust? Nothing nada and I'm a very particular person. They did such a good job I was considering calling back for a gift card for my brother's 1840s farmhouse. With the rising cost of everything the insulation helps save you money because the hvac unit doesn't have to work so hard. The truth is if you need a friend in the insulation business Skidmore insulation is there for you. Thanks again Steve and Dean.

I would not use this company as they do not stand behind their work/service. This company was paid to insulate an addition-walls, attic, and crawl space of the new structure. During the cold temperatures earlier this month, condensation occurred in several spots on my ceiling of the addition only. I included a few examples, but there were more places than just 3. This issue did not occur in the main part of the house that was insulated by a different company. Further inspection revealed that the company did not adequately insulate the attic and only used 1/2 the thickness of insulation required to keep the space properly insulated. There were even places where there was no insulation at all. The crawl space also did not get proper insulation as a pipe stopped working during the cold temperatures. Pipes were not insulated and this company refused to insulate the pipe or the crawl space to prevent this from happening again. The company gave me over 1 hour of resistance and mixed information to do everything to avoid fixing my job. They did not care about making the job right or giving me what I had already paid for. This is not an ethical business, the company does not operate honestly and their actions indicate that they only care about getting your money and not making sure your job is done correctly. It should be noted that the roof is brand new and cleared of any leaks prior to contacting Skidmore when it was determined that the water was caused by improper insulation. I was told that the tubing used to blow insulation into the attic would scratch my floors and they did not protect floors or have covers. Then after over an hour of the company owner and his workers hassling me to try to avoid correcting the problems, they turn on the machine to blow insulation into my attic for 1 minute max, not enough time to fix the problem. They refused to fix any issues in the crawl space that they were paid already to properly insulate. Don't be fooled as the owner is nice until there is a problem even if it is something you already paid to have done
