Christina Sheppard was an absolute dream to work with! She was so kind and patient with us and all of our questions, we highly recommend her if you are looking to purchase or build a James Monroe home!

Christina has been great to work with so far. She’s been very communicative and made herself available to answer all of our questions. We have not felt pressured in any step of the process so far and feel grateful to continue working with her. We are very excited.

We worked with Christina Shepherd on buying our new home and she was Amazing! She was always very professional and patient with us as we were making decisions. She always made herself available to us for questions and she was so easy to work with.

I represented a Buyer of a new construction home built by James Monroe Homes. Christina Shepard was the point of contact and helped make the entire process run smoothly. She was professional and was always available to answer any questions. James built a beautiful home and their entire team has a fantastic system to assist new construction Buyers after the closing.

I'm very pleased with the service and design of the home that I just moved into. The house was cleaned and the walk through list was thorough and complete. I love the follow up texts and calls to make sure everything is ok. I have to say that the most important thing is how the designed this house. I love the energy efficiency that was put into this. They have this home so quiet and comfortable. There are quite a few little details that most builders would never bother with and they make a big difference and James Monroe stands out.

As a Realtor in the industry, working with someone like James Monroe and his proactive team is truly makes the New Construction Process a lot smoother. They are efficient, always ready to answer questions, and provide support whenever necessary.

Kristin Murrow is amazing. She puts the customer first and foremost in everything that she does. She is thorough in her follow ups, thoughtful in all of her communication and an absolute delight to work with.

It's hard to imagine having any better of an experience!

We had an AMAZING experience. We ended up buying one of their spec homes but found it early on in the build. Everyone from Misty (then Kristin) as well as all the folks in the office made it an amazing experience. We were still able to meet with the design team and make a few changes. Throughout the process they communicate very well. When it gets close then they do a weekly update call with Bud the onsite (and amazing I will add) project manager. I also want to call out Joy in the main office as she was instrumental in helping us navigate through the process to get our house complete. Also they delivered the house 1 week earlier than promised from the time they broke ground. When does that happen in construction? We did buy a single story Martha and if you choose that floor plan we HIGHLY recommend getting the 4ft extension.

This is our second home buying new and so far it has been magical. We will come back in a year to update this review and share our experience with them addressing issues that will pop up as that is inevitable with a new home. They have a 30 day and a 11 month appointments set to fix things.

Our experience with James Monroe Homes has been TOP NOTCH. It's easy to tell that customer service is a TOP priority with their team. I can say, from experience, that every builder does not prioritize the "customer experience" so if you are considering building, I STRONGLY suggest you consider the James Monroe team.

Shout out to Kristin Murrow for clear communication and quick responses to ANY question we've had. She has been so patient and kind to us. and she is on top of everything...she's AWESOME!

Also, I want to thank Scott for taking time out of his schedule to meet with us (personally) on more than one occasion. That meant the world to us.

Bud is THE BEST! To have weekly calls with our Site Supervisor has been amazing. I was floored to learn that this was part of the James Monroe process. He literally has kept us in the loop every step of the way, and I can tell his heart is in all he does. Thanks, Bud!

I also have to shout out Austin who has, more than once, jumped in to answer any question we had about materials, measurements, the way something might look, etc. We appreciate you, Austin!

Just closed Oct 1,2024. The weekly contact throughout the build of this home was so helpful and informative. Matt and Kristen led me through the process starting in April. The constant quality checks through the building process resulted in a gorgeous new home with a full finished basement, all with luxury vinyl floors. I do love the kitchen cabinets and pantry, LOTS of storage. The spacious covered deck catches the breeze making it pleasant at 90 degrees. The sodded yard and landscaping are great. The building team was so very responsive to my many questions! Could not be more pleased with this purchase!

We just signed documents to build a new home in the Eastgate community of Nicholasville. Christina Shepard our sales representative was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful in this new process for me and my wife. The process has been so smooth because of her. We are excited to see our new home built and finally move to Nicholasville to be closer to family.

Matt Brawn, is very knowledgeable and thorough home was built to high quality standards because of Matt’s oversight. We look forward to enjoying a great many retirement years in our new home.

As a buyers agent the experience with James Monroe homes was excellent. From the very beginning with Christina Shepherds expertise explaining the sales agreement( while on vacation) to Matt Brown who handled the walkthroughs and explained everything to my buyer very well to Joy And Suzanne at the end who helped get this to the finish line.

We started the house buying process in March. Christina and Matt from day one has always kept us up to date on the process. My favorite part was the weekly calls and photos. We have had 2 walk throughs at this point with Matt who is very detailed oriented when acclimating us to our soon to be forever home. Christina was always just a text or email away. Any question we had she responded with an answer in a short amount of time. Thanks for a beautiful home and making this house buying experience so memorable!!!

James Monroe have been excellent to work with throughout our home building experience. Special shout out to Christina Shepard and Matt Braun. They were communicative on every aspect of the process and were consistent with check ins every week with our progress. Matt was super thorough on our walk-throughs and knowledgeable.

Matt Braun is excellent. He's very informative and always answers my questions. The build is going great and right on track time wise.

Matt Braun with James Monroe Homes conducted a thorough new home orientation. He answered all questions I posed and did not make me feel rushed. Furthermore, he took note of my concerns and promised to take care of them prior to closing. Some of these such as mismatching cabinet touch ups had already been seen by him before I arrived on the day of NHO and were already on his list for the JM Homes Trade Partners to come back out to address. I appreciate the JM team, especially Kristin who has been so patient with us as we worked to find our next home while living out of state. Thank you all for the great experience so far JM Homes Team!
