This has been a fun and exciting experience from the beginning of our first thoughts of building our dream home. The James Manroe Team have been and still are being very supportive through the entire process. Bud, our site supervisor, kept us informed with every detail and was able to answer all our questions while building our home. It has been a pleasure working with Bud throughout this process. Kristen is also an awesome essential part of the team helping with every little detail and always making us feel comfortable during our weekly calls plus informative emails with pictures.

We have had the best building process so far with James Monroe! We get weekly pictures and updates on a call every week and whenever there is even a slight mixup, everything is transparent and quickly fixed. While everything has been great so far, there are two people who have been involved that have made the real difference throughout this process. Kristin has been so great from the start. She has stayed after hours to accommodate our hectic schedules and she is so quick to reply to any questions we’ve had throughout the process. She’s always got a huge smile on her face and is such a great asset to the James Monroe team. Bud has been amazing as well! He’s always prepared to answer any crazy questions we have and is on top of everything construction related. Anytime I’ve noticed something even slightly different from the plans we have, he is quick to answer and fix the issue if need be. We have been so thankful to have such a great home building experience! Will update further after the house is complete!

The process of buying the James Monroe home was very professional and thorough. We had several meetings to walk-through all the required steps and inspections, and easily worked through all questions and concerns that I had about the house. We moved to Kentucky from Tennessee and found JMH early in the process. We found communication to be excellent and it was a relatively stress free 6 months. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.

We do have some items that we have put in the portal to have fixed but I am confident that it will be done. We recommend James and his team!

These homes are beautiful inside and out. The floor plans are very adaptable for any need you or your family may have. We worked with Kristin today at the Georgetown model home and she is excellent! She was knowledgable about every aspect of the home and features. She explained the process from start to finish and was more than willing to take us on tours of any floor plan we asked about. I highly recommend if you plan to build or are looking into the process to call and schedule an appointment with her!

James Monroe Builders is building my first home and my experience with them so far has been great. They explain in detail the different phases of the building process. They keep me updated weekly on how the house is coming along by sending pictures and talking to me on the phone. My knowledge of building a house when I first contacted James Monroe Builders was zero and now I can honestly say that I learn something new from them every week. They are kind, professional and very knowledgeable. They are great.

My wife and I just signed a contract with Kristin Murrow at the Georgetown location. She was absolutely wonderful! She was pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive, detail oriented and reassuring. We finally achieved our dream of having our first home! As first time homebuyers the whole process was smooth and we were guided all the way. Kristin was excellent and patient with our queries and concerns. We really liked the idea of having pre-design center meeting, regular builder calls/updates and weekly pictures of the house. Bud, the site supervisor was hands on and transparent on anything that is going on with the project. Their whole build process is efficient and working with same contractors is also a plus. Our third party inspection came out with very few minor findings that were quickly addressed. Everything was done in official writing and they have a good system with regards to dealing with warranties and in case there are post home delivery issues. We are a few weeks in our new home and we love the workmanship of the house and cozy vibe of our community (Barkley Meadows).

Our experience building with James Monroe Homes has been very positive. Kristin in the sales office and Bud, the site supervisor, have gone out of their way many times to quickly answer any questions we had, and have responded to multiple requests and issues immediately. We can’t say enough about the level of service that they provided. We worked with Kristin for over a year and she was always extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with us as we looked at many homes multiple times.
