Trustworthy, nice guys. Did a new breaker panel install last winter for us and a bunch of other "odds and ends" and didn't feel nickle and dimed... very fair and would absolutely suggest contacting Stansbury!

This company is the world's worst. I am on a prepaid account. Some days I get woken up by the sound of silence. Even though there is money on my account. I always make sure to call and be polite to tell them my problem. But for some reason. Sometimes it takes an hour to get my service back on sometimes it takes 30 sec9nds. But you can bet your bottom it takes every bit of that hour when it's 99 degrees outside. So for the life of me I can't understand how this confusion continues to happen. There is money on the account so I shouldn't be without electricity at all. I'm giving a 1 star rating for inconsistencies happening to often for absolutely no reason.

Bruce Stansbury is a man of his word and owns a business you can trust. I phoned this company long distance as a 'cold call' due to the excellent reviews on line. Bruce answered. I needed an electrician for my sister's home - power out, light post lamp needed replacement and a list of other concerns. ALL were addressed, suggestions made for flood lights on next home visit and I slept knowing I had found an electrician/electrical company with a remarkable work ethic. Bruce Stansbury cares about his customers and takes pride in his work and those who work for him. He is straightforward in the cost of his services - no hidden charges. If you are in search of an electrician look no further!

On time, professional! It isn’t easy to find an electrician for small in home work, but Stansbury Electric was so willing to help! I highly recommend them and I will call them again!

This was a very positive experience. The day before my appointment I got a confirmation phone call and twenty minutes before the agreed on time I got a call saying they were on their way. I had a chandelier I wanted hung from the ceiling in a way that it was not designed to be. Josh B. and Sean N. worked diligently to make this happen safely and following all codes. Well done!

We had a very strange issue with our elevator. The company felt it was an electrical issue. Stansbury came out that night and were able to quickly trouble shoot the issue and get it resolve the next day after getting the part needed.

Work was reasonably priced. Electrician was finished in less than an hour after working on two outlets and one fixture.

This is a TOP NOTCH company! When I call I get handled with care and importance. They work me in on short notice as well. I have had them do everything from a light fixture to inspect a 106,000 sq ft warehouse. Prices are fair and staff has a lot of personality.

Update: 07/19/13 I have used them about 3 or 4 other times since my first interaction. Each time they have been professional and appropriate. Why that is important is that in this project we have had to deal with many vendors for technology, construction etc. Probably 6 or 7 in all. Out of all those vendors used, Stansbury set the bar. They were polite, asked about small details, like if they could play their radio (while they worked on a big project for 8 hours) and even what kind of music I liked. I thought that was very polite. They did a great job and cleaned up their mess, which not all contractors did. If I had a question, they answered it honestly, even if the answer was that they didn't know, but would find out. I respect that as a consumer and business owner myself. I have found MY ELECTRICIAN and it is Stansbury. It is important to me to have people that I can rely on in cases of emergency, whether it be my doctor, lawyer, electrician or plumber. I also seek to align myself with quality people because they will run their business ethically and when something goes wrong, which it will, it's bound to happen, they will deal with it ethically. So hats off to Stansbury Electric!

We so enjoyed Brad while he was here! He and Jacob got a ceiling fan hung on our covered porch and had all the wiring done in no time. They did a great job! I will definitely use them again! He was also very personable and kind to our 3 year old son.

Stansbury Electric responded very quickly when our house got hit with storm damage 5 April 2023 in the Beuchel/Fern Creek area of Louisville. They asset the damage downed tree, broke tore off electrical box, meter, mast, fix it, and cleaned up before the local LGE got here to hook the electrical wire back up..... Thanks Bruce for being so great on the phone during this time!!!! And following up the next day...... Awesome Company and people!!!

Overall not the worst experience I’ve had with a contractor, they get points for being on time an efficient. However, they were 33% over the estimate without any surprises in the install. Also, the wiring was left loose at the insertion into the 240 outlet. In addition, the outlet was 180 degrees inverted from the proper position.

I was able to remedy the poor attention to detail with about 20 minutes of my time and a screwdriver, but after paying a premium I feel less than satisfied.

I had a minor project that I attempted to do myself, and realized that it would be best to bring someone in to finish up the electrical part.

I called Stansbury Electric, and they immediately set up an appointment. Stuart came out, took a look, and had everything completed in less than an hour. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took a minute to explain what was done so that I understood.

The cost was actually less than I what I was expecting to pay.

I will absolutely call Stansbury Electric again.

Zack and Alex came out on a Friday evening, diagnosed, fixed, and left us happy. Very pleased with the professionalism of these young men. If I ever have any electrical problems I will call this company. Fast service, no hiccups, and very nicely priced! 10/10

I have used Stansbury Electric for multiple projects for my home including a recent home addition which required complete new system, home generator installation and maintenance as well as my workplace buildings. I would totally recommend Bruce and his team without hesitation.

These guys did an amazing job on my new construction build. Lines are all ran together not crisscrossing my attic. Cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!

Great Company. We lost all of our power in a storm. They squeezed us in to make sure we had our power restored. Called Corrigan Electric and they told me they had no interest in helping fix my problem. Stansbury Electric made sure we were taken care of.

I would never recommend another electrician. They are courteous, prompt, do excellent work, and don't overcharge. They consistently bid under all other contractors (I am required to get a certain number of quotes for each job) and I liked them so much, I sent them over to my own Dad's place to handle a couple issues for him.

I can't praise them enough.
