The technician who came to our home was very knowledgeable and made us feel very confident that the work would be done well. We were so pleased with the results. He took care of several carpentry jobs which were well outside of our skill level. Yes, they are a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! Excellent experience all around and we will definitely use them again in the future.
This is the third time I have used this business. Chris was awesome! He arrived promptly, worked very efficiently, knew exactly how to do my needed repairs, had excellent communication skills, was professional and most courteous. A very nice person! This business is my go to. I very much appreciate how easy they are to deal with. They are genuinely one of the nicest businesses I’ve ever dealt with!
Our serviceman, Curtis, was excellent. He came in and immediately diagnosed our pocket door problem and it was fixed in 30 minutes. We did not require a major operation of removing drywall etc. This made us extremely happy. I will definitely call Mr. Handyman if we need repairs in the future.
I blame the owner/management NOT the workers. Scheduled an 830 on Monday, got a confirmation text the Sunday prior for 1130. Noone ever contacted me regarding the change and the confirmation was sent on a day that noone works. (Called multiple times Sunday to try and resolve.) Talked to the owner Monday and pretty much was told some other jobs took priority, so he waved the $66 callout part of the fees. But because of the delays, they lost out on a ton of extra work. Overall, the work that was done was okay. Wouldn't say they were the best but they were able to do the work quicker than specialty workers would. Don was friendly and as timely as he could be given the situation, worked the whole time and didn't try to 'run up the clock'. I'm not in this for somekind of compensation. Instead, offering advice. 1. Send confirmations on Friday or Saturday instead of Sunday for Monday jobs. That way any conflicts can be resolves. 2. Whoever handles scheduling NEEDS to make sure they are making calls updating customers, never just assume the customer knows/agrees to changes. 3. I never received any kind of receipt or paperwork. They didn't explain anything, just kept saying "sign here". That is also a problem. Conclusion: If you need something done quickly and relatively cheap, they are not a bad option. But as far as first impressions go, they blew it for me and I doubt I'll be using them again. I also doubt I'll be recommending them to anyone I know either.
I was very pleased with Matt's work, professionalism, and knowledge. He was always ready to help and answer any question. I had called Mr. Handyman for help with replacing a bathroom exhaust fan and some other concerns with my ceiling. Matt looked at all my concerns, picked a new fan that would fit and installed it. I was so very pleased with the service. Highly recommend this company.
