Scott and Dakota inspected my furnace today. They systematically inspected, cleaned and serviced the unit. Scott was instructing Dakota step by step on the process. They were very positive and friendly. They were right on time and also completed the process quickly.
I had a great impression of Fast Response Heating and Cooling today based on their service. I also recommend Stacy, who assisted me in setting up the appointment. She seems very knowledgeable of the process and provided timely customer service.
Thank you

I had an awesome experience with Dakota from Fast Response. He came out to work on my HVAC unit and ended up installing a brand new compressor for me. He was super nice, professional, and took the time to make sure everything was done the right way.
You can tell he knows what he’s doing — my system is running better than it has in a long time. The whole process was smooth, quick, and completely stress-free.
If you need HVAC work done, definitely ask for Dakota. He did a great job and I couldn’t be happier with the service! -
Dustin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He came out to fix my furnace and also helped me set up and troubleshoot my new Ecobee thermostat. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I really appreciated how quickly I was able to get an appointment—he was available the very next day. Highly recommend Dustin for his expertise and excellent service.

Update 12/15/25
NO HEAT
12/14/25
Final update
I received a text message this morning from General Manager Michael informing me that he located a part in Cincinnati, and was on his way to my home to make sure I had heat. Not only did he install the gas valve, he also had to leave again for another part to make sure I was going to have heat. In spite of how things started, he has shown me that integrity, honesty, and ethics still exist. I am changing my 2 star to a 5 plus star for going over and beyond. Thank you for doing what you did for me and my family.
My home warranty scheduled them to my home and I was so grateful.
I was told by a technician I was in need of a new furnace $17,000, I allegedly had mold, mushrooms in my furnace. If I need a unit why not contact my home warranty and recommend they replace it.
#2 Scenario - Or I could replace the gas valve, ordering the part COULD take several weeks to arrive, and he could have me up running.
My home warranty never heard anything from this provider.
I contacted fast Response at 2:30pm no answer. Home warranty emailed at 4:30 (allegedly) no response yet!
What I do know it is 48 degrees in my house
The temperature this weekend is suppose to be -3 degree. Still waiting and disgusted and definitely COLD! So sad 😭
STILL WANT HEAT!
I do not want to talk negatively because I am still without heat or even next steps. I am explaining my experience so far and of course I am frustrated because there is no follow up.
Update
Just received Text message from the manager and they are on their way with the part and I pray that it works and I will have heat!
Keep you updated. I am moving from 1 star to 2 star and praying I can give them a 5 star -
Nate came to my house just to sell me a new unit regardless of the issue. Told me that was his recommendation after looking at everything. He also lied and told me I had a period with no interest, and that was a lie. Expressed his interest in getting to know me on a personal level. After buying the unit he then told me how he is top seller and how much money he makes. Once it got hot outside, my house was getting up to 80 degrees. It wasn't that I needed a new unit, I needed duct work done. Someone came out and was supposed to come back or call me to give me next steps. It took me weeks to get in touch with someone. I called all the numbers I had. From the emails and the website. They kept telling me someone would call me back and never did. For 3 weeks. I feel like I was used for a sale of a new unit. Then, I have a warranty but it's so hard to get in touch with someone I don't feel comfortable with that. I'm a new homeowner and this makes it hard to trust anyone from this point.

Just dealt with them through American Home Shield, would definitely not recommend. Work order was to look at my furnace in the basement, but somehow also included a recommendation to replace my ac unit. The tech that came insisted on me completing the survey in front of him, before I had a chance to really think about what he did. He also said we needed to replace our furnace, that just kept running after he left. DO NOT RECOMMEND! By the way the 2 stars is because of thier level of communication.

Through my home warranty company was linked to Fast Response Heating and Cooling for HVAC repairs.
First off, the technicians do a great job and have no issues with their work, personability, or performance.
With that being said that is where the compliments end with the Louisville office.
Have missed 3 of 6 appointments so far with 3 no shows. Called at noon today after yesterday's missed appointment because they had still not reached out.
When I questioned why no call yesterday or today and how the company was going to make sure we got notified if could not come the next time, was told I could apply for a job there if I needed to know more about their business practices.
The only way the smugness and arrogance exuded by the front desk person is through empowerment from his leadership and it's a shame given the stellar performance of the technicians.
Will update this post next week when, as the cocky scheduler reminded me was in the future, after the work is completed or not.
****UPDATE****
After posting this Fast Response notified the Warranty Company that Christmas Decoratsions (wreaths) had crushed the outbound tube and pulled the system forward.
A regional Tech had not even been to my house at this point and he identified the problem as needing the system elevated and replace the pan - defects from the install and not customer caused.
However, after a month of being told that Fast Response was contacting the warranty company have finally given up and will hire a local company.
The Tech did offer to fix outside of using the warranty company - which is something shown in other posts.
Have sent photos to the warranty company reflecting no crushed pipes or tubes or anything of the kind.
I am sure Fast Response is a fair and reputable company and understand things happen, but it appears if you are using a warranty company you may not get the same results if you hire them outright.
Best of luck to anyone that questions their work, timeline, or really anything besides saying, "Thank you, may I have anothers!" -
We have American home shield and they sent fast response out to our home to fix an AC. They told us that we have a leak and that they need a repair kit and it had to be ordered. We waited for two weeks and they never came back or responded to our inquiries. The whole repair kit thing was a lie and I wouldn’t even give them one star. Unprofessional, unreliable service!!! Absolutely pathetic!
