They designed and installed our landscaping in Lexington, Very friendly to work with and the job was done well . They also were very good about replacing plants that died during the warranty. I would have them do work for me again

Went there for a Christmas tree and garland. Came home with both and they are beautiful. Prices are good. Will be going back in the spring to look at plants and shrubs for landscaping. Super friendly staff.

I manage an east coast tree breeding organization, so we plant thousands of trees across 16 states, and we buy a lot of mulch from a lot of landscape companies.
This spring I called Silver Cliff and ordered 4 1/2 yards of mulch for a project in Richmond KY. When I got to the site there was 1 1/2 yards of mulch sitting there. When I called to ask where the other 3 yards of mulch was they told me that they only promised it would be “approximately” 4 1/2 yards and they felt the amount they gave me was sufficient.
I’m a professional at this and I sure as heck know the difference between 4 1/2 yards and 1 1/2 yards, but just to be fair I had a few other professionals (including landscapers and arboretum sups) to weigh in. They all 100% agree I got ripped off big time (though, the estimates ranged from 1 yard estimates to 2 1/2 yard estimates, so take it with a grain of salt ).
Either way, it wasn’t even close to what I paid for. I recommend you Find another source for mulch. We now buy our mulch in Lexington. There are a few outfits whom are honest and reasonably priced.

The staff is super helpful, friendly, respectful, and professional. The vast variety of plants, trees, flowers, and shrubs is amazing! This place great for all your landscaping needs! Absolutely love it!!!

Pretty space. Lots of outdoors plants to look at.
Ground is uneven and hard to walk on so be careful.
No selection of "houseplants" which did make me sad. But they had a great selection of pots and soil amendments etc for houseplants.
Def will be back, even if just to walk around and enjoy looking.

Place is a local richmond and if I'm not mistaken it's probably family owned. They are a bit pricey compared to Lowe's. They don't have a huge flower selection, but it might be from being close to fall. Super friendly staff, and good selection of trees and scrubs. Just little pricy for me.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of landscaping tree shrubs. They also have a really nice indoor selection of lawn and garden ornamentals. Everything was reasonably priced.

I went to silver cliff because it was close to where I live so it was very convenient. But after this experience I will never go back. We bought 3 bushes and a scoop of mulch for our landscaping. When I was getting ready to put them in the ground I found out that two of the bushes were to big for where I wanted them. So I called back the very next morning (not even 24 hours later) and asked if I could return the bushes they were still in the burlap and everything. The told me that they do not take returns and that I pretty much have to keep $80 worth of bushes just so they can sit in the garage and die. Which also doesn’t help that if I bought a bush and it died within a year that they only take 50% off of your next one. I would highly recommend going somewhere else after this experience.

Silver Cliff has so much variety and such a friendly atmosphere! The garden center manager, Denise, helped me pick out some yard art for my mom and recommended an Ivory Silk Lilac for my dad and they couldn't be happier!

The place was so beautiful. It was my first trip there. The girl that waited on me was very friendly and eager to help me. I purchased two bushes and hope to buy more. Everyone should go there just yo feel the wonderful atmosphere. I was very pleased.

I've been working with Tom on a landscape design for our new home. He has been extremely helpful and professional during our work together. Tom found exactly what we wanted and needed! Kathy has been wonderful to work with as we have added a variety of items. She is very patient and helped us navigate around Silver Cliff's property while being so informative. Our landscape is now complete and looks wonderful. The Silver Cliff team came in a timely manner, and it looks gorgeous. I couldn't be more pleased. Silver Cliff offers a good selection of landscaping products and services. They can custom design and quote landscaping for your home as well. However, their pricing is a little higher than the local competition. Their parking is very limited as well so plan for that. They have very friendly and helpful employees ready to assist you as needed. They also offer a rewards program for repeat customers that will save you money if you keep track of the "silver dollars" they give you on every purchase.

Poor Customer Loyalty!!! Have bought there on more than one occasion. Requested three scoops of mulch and three scoops of dirt, was going to require two trucks with two deliver fees. Requested one delivery fee to be waived. No. So, I cancelled the order. In my opinion, this was a bad business move. $25 dollars, ultimately cost you a former customer. Good luck with your business!

Very attentive employees, we were asked multiple times if we could be helped, which I appreciate. I love the large assortment of trees, I thought the prices were quite reasonable for most of the products, higher quality than the stuff you find at Lowes, will definitely be frequenting this nursury.

The staff were kind and attentive. We had all new landscaping installed in the front of our house and lots of old bushes and a couple of trees removed. They were efficient and Tom responded to our concerns reasonably quickly. There was clearly some confusion between us and them, however, as we also requested to have two redbud trees and our Crate Myrtles trimmed substantially...which didn't happen, but they did take out two Crab Apple trees we had also considered having out but did not finalize. Their crew DID call me day-of-service and I told him I would pay to have the crab apples removed since they weren't part of the original contract. So, it wasn't perfect and at least one of our plants went in the ground seriously broken up buy it was, overall, a good experience and the work was generally well done.

We signed with Silver Cliff to do our landscaping. From the beginning and talking with Tom to the finished product was awesome. It was just like the pictures Tom showed us and the 5 young men who planted all the trees, shrubs were exceptional. They were all polite, very professional and worked hard in excessive heat to get the job done. Thank you all for an awesome job!

I have bought several hundreds of dollars of trees from this company and since I planted the dogwood tree along with all the fertilizer I bought as a suggestion of their employees at my mothers grave. The dogwood has not bloomed out this year as other are already in full bloom the company will possibly give you half of what you gave for their products. As I bought the trees I asked specifically what happens if the tree dies after planting the employee reassured me that all I would have to do is show proof of the tree and would have it replaced within a year....so today is the second time I’ve called and it’s the year anniversary. A wonderful company I will not being purchasing another product from this company anytime soon just be cautious they do not stand behind their words

My experience with Silver Cliff has never been anything other than helpful, insightful and friendly employees and staff. They are patient, and try to hear your needs before making a recommendation. I am not family, but always treated like it when I’m in their store or gardens.

Amazing place to get landscaping! Had some issues with some of my plants dying but came back with a receipt and they happily replaced them! Would definitely recommend to everyone, the staff is so friendly!

Customer service is top notch. Everyone was friendly even after a grueling day on a Saturday before Mother's day. We were treated as if our time was valuable and any question we had was answered in detail and patience. They have earned my business and I will most certainly be back. Amazing selection and knowledgeable staff.
