We go here whenever our family needs a tree or shrub each time we go they are the most kind and knowledgeable people. They are the best place in kentucky to get a tree their trees are all so beautiful and well taken care of! The owner is so helpful and knowledgeable his team all follows in his lead in kindness and costumer service. This place is a must 🙌!!!

Everyone was so friendly! I don't believe I passed by a worker without them greeting me and asking if I needed anything. I'm glad I discovered this little gem a couple of years ago. The lady who works in the gift shop helped me with my succulents, and she helped me pick out some wonderful strawberry plants. The cashier was very friendly and even offered to help carry my plants to my car. She said it was only her 2nd day, and she's doing great!

Super friendly and there top soil by the scoop is great. It’s actually mostly dirt compared to the bags at Lowe’s and Walmart that are mostly mulch and twigs. And way cheaper than the bags. Highly recommend this place for top soil

THE BEST!! Silvercliff is amazing! I went in, not having a clue what I wanted or needed. All I have was a photo of my house and the landscaping area. The employees were so kind and courteous. The owner looked at my picture, walked me around and helped me choose affordable items for my landscaping. He even told me where to plant and how to plant. I am so pleased! I love to shop local and a highly recommend Silvercliff!

We bought a live Bosnian pine as our Christmas tree this year and it was beautiful. We then had it planted in our front yard. Silver Cliff was great to work with and we are pleased with the results. Thanks Silver Cliff.

Silver Cliff is wonderful! And so are the staff! The variety of plants they have there is top notch, and for someone like me, who knows very little about plants, the staff is so knowledgeable and caring! Been a customer for years and I've had a situation where, due to my own negligence, a lilac I purchased died about 9 months after I had purchased it. I keep all my receipts, and I took it back and they gave me a new plant free of charge!!! They have a wonderful Silver Dollar program where you can earn store credit for purchases! Jess, the manager, and Deni, the Garden Center Supervisor, are the absolute sweetest ladies you'll ever talk to! You need some plants? Get to Silver Cliff right now!!!!

I CAN CONFIRM… this is the best landscaping business in central Kentucky. The employees are so kind, helpful and truly care about their customers. I wish I could give MORE stars! The products are FANTASTIC. Love this place!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Their knowledgable staff is always friendly every time we visit. They always check on us to see how we are doing without being pushy. On our first visit, we stopped by 15 minutes prior to closing just to see what they have in stock, and walked out with an Elizabeth Magnolia before closing. They even helped load the 5' tree into our sedan...yep, the entire tree fit into our car. We were given a discount because the tree had a good-sized scar. Despite the blemish, the magnolia is doing well in our front yard.

We went back another time for hostas and the transaction was completed quickly. Upon check out, the cashier already had the total and we were on our way in no time.

This past weekend, we went to purchase a Japanese maple. We have been to other nurseries in Lexington, and the Japanese maples at the competition are consistently more expensive and seemingly less healthy or even smaller than ones at Silver Cliff. The one pictured below would have easily cost us $100 more at a Lexington nursery than it did at Silver Cliff.

Thank you to Tom and the crew (Landon, Steven, and everyone else we interacted with there but didn't quite get their names) for always making us feel welcomed and taken care of. Perhaps we'll be getting planters on our next visit...they seemed reasonably priced, too!

A very beautiful, quaint garden store that sells seeds, trees, fertilizer, mulch, topsoil and other gardening needs. They also keep such cute ducks! The lady inside was super helpful with all my questions. Can’t wait to return for my garden needs.

A young man , took out huge mums to the car and loaded them .... Extremely kind and GREAT Prices !

Be very wary of this landscape company. They have questionable ethics and poor policy, in my opinion. I ordered $2,400+ worth of landscaping to be installed at my home. The installation was completed and within a week, 6 of the plants were dying. See photos. I called several times and were told to “give it a week or two”. They continued to get worse. I simply wanted replacements or a different plant that worked better for my soil. I received the final bill, having placed a substantial deposit previously. I was hesitant to pay the final portion because of the dying plants and their unwillingness to help me. I called again and told them I wasn’t paying for those plants because they looked awful. The owner finally called me back. He was curt and argumentative, refusing to address the issue until the bill was paid in full. We argued, at times heated, about whether I should have to pay for dead plants.
He showed up the next day and removed the dying plants, saying that they were not dying and that he would resell them to someone else. See photos and judge for yourself. Tom left holes in my garden bed and it looks absolutely horrible.
I would strongly recommend NOT using this landscape company. Their policies are suspect and their customer service is awful. Don’t trust their warranty, as other posts have stated. Not worth the money I spent at all.

I just stopped in to look at what they carried for future purchases. This garden center is really nice, I can only imagine what it looks like when trees are leaving out or flowering. It must be beautiful! They have a nice store for purchasing bird baths and feeders, planters, yard ornaments, dirt for pots. I will be going back multiple times, if for nothing else watching the ducks in the pond.

Great selection of plants and Tom is a wealth of knowledge. Very fortunate to have such a phenomenal garden shop in Richmond with so much variety. I put in the foundation of a Japanese Contemporary Garden and got everything here, including a fountain. They didn't install it but guided many of my decisions and I am very grateful to Tom and the rest of the staff.
