Dave Leonard Tree Specialist was working at our neighbor's and they damaged our fence. We can not get them to call us back. It has been near a week. Our front door camera did record their employee knocking on our door to inform us of the damage which I do appreciate but we were out of town. They left a business card in our mailbox. It would have been nice if they had left a note. We will have the fence repaired and take it to small claims court if it does not get rectified soon and to our satisfaction. We will update the review if anything changes.
***Update: They paid to have our fence repaired.
***Update: They are doing more work at our neighbor's and my husband walked outside to find their employee urinating on OUR property.
I would NOT use or recommend them!!!

Thanks to Ed and his crew from Dave Leonard Tree Service who did an excellent job cutting a tree down in our front yard today! There were a lot of dead branches that left a lot of debris, but the crew did a great job cleaning up. Looks like they were never here!

They were so quiet that it took me a bit to even realize they were working in my backyard. The tree looks incredible, not a branch or pile of leaves left on the ground, complete cleanup. It makes me want to sit in my backyard again, just to look at the tree.

I had a tall tree that was leaning badly towards a building in my back yard along with two trees that had fallen over the last few winters. Along with that Brush Honeysuckle had completely taken over my back yard. I had used Dave Leonard before and was pleased with the work done.
I had to wait a few months because of their work backlog but I was willing to wait for them.
The crew that came out were very friendly and professional. I tried to stay out of their way as much as possible but they still took the time to completely answer all my questions fully
It was very important to me that everything was done safely .

Ed and Adam were great. They were very personable and skilled. We walked around the tree sights before and after to make sure all the dead limbs were removed and there were no branches close to the house that could cause damage during storms. I highly recommend them.

Ed and his crew were great! We had trees cut down and several trees trimmed. They made sure all the limbs and leaves were cleaned up. They did a walk through to ensure we were happy.

Ed’s crew did a great job removing dead limbs from our elm tree. They were professional and efficient and cleaned up well too. We have always had great experiences with Dave Leaonard’s teams!

I had two 75 foot trees, one with four 2-foot diameter trunks. The trees were in a backyard with almost no access, especially for their large machinery. The larger tree was very close to a neighbor's new fence. It was a very windy day and the upper trunks were dancing. I was amazed with the very professional, friendly job they did. The three man crew knew what they were doing and coordinated efforts to get the job done and cleaned up in two days. I was extremely happy.

Ed and his crew were excellent. They handled multiple elements to this project. They were knowledgeable, careful, and thoughtful in the process.
Ed discussed with me the approach for a light pruning on a big Norway Spruce that was overlapping a large Arborvitae nearby. The intent was to allow more light on the Arb, keeping both trees attractive and balanced in appearance. It looks perfect as though nothing has been cut.
Another part of the work was pruning deadwood from a large oak tree. It was a lot of precise work. Again it looks wonderful - full and natural.
A light pruning on three other trees benefited the trees and the house. Great work that was done carefully.

Excellent, friendly, efficient and professionally competent crew.The Arborist agreed the trees needed to be removed. The crew got the trees cut down and the place cleaned up with only one problem which was quickly resolved. The stumps were removed with care. Would highly recommend them for any tree work .
