Kitchen Remodeler reviews across the US

I just completed my third home remodeling project with Honea Construction. Once again, I am extremely satisfied with remodeling process and extremely happy with the finished outcome. The first and second projects involved bathroom remodeling, and this recent project created a beautiful laundry room. Eric Honea is a master craftsman. For this recent project, he suggested some changes to the original design, which definitely enhanced the laundry room. Once a project is started Eric is driven to get it completed in a timely manner. Eric, is someone who will put in long days to keep a project moving to completion. As with any remodeling project one should expect lot of dust and disruption to the household and Eric does his best to keep it at a minimum. I would highly recommend Honea Construction for home remodeling projects.Gail Mastio

I would highly recommend Eric Honea Construction for home remodeling projects. Eric has remodeled both my powder room and a full bath and I am extremely happy with my new bathrooms, the finished rooms are beautiful, beyond my expectations. The estimate provided for the cost of the remodeling and the time frame for completion were right on target. Eric is a very hardworking individual and was very respectful of my home, keeping it orderly and clean as he worked. I will most definitely be using Honea Construction for my future projects. I recently had my bathroom remodeled by Honea Construction, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the very beginning, Eric was transparent, straightforward, and incredibly professional. He was consistently punctual—almost always putting in 10+ hour days—and maintained excellent communication throughout the project. I truly valued how he presented thoughtful options and shared his opinions, drawn from many years of experience, which helped guide my decisions with confidence.

What really set Eric apart was his integrity—he recommended trusted professionals for services like custom glass shower doors, carpet repairs, all without any upcharges. His honest, client-first approach made the entire process smooth and worry-free. On top of all that, his pricing was very reasonable and competitive, making the value of the work even more exceptional.

I highly recommend Honea Construction and Eric to anyone looking for a contractor who blends craftsmanship with transparency, fairness, and genuine care. I will definitely go with him for any of my future projects. Thanks Eric!

Eric just finished our entire bathroom project and I’m very happy with the results. I’m a do-it-yourselfer and so working with subs can be challenging for me. That said, Eric is the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of hiring. He told us exactly what we needed to order and was willing to work with the design we wanted. Day one he took the time to put down protective measures on our existing floor and carpet, and consistently worked long days throughout the project, always putting in quality work.
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results and would recommend Eric to anyonve. I’ll be looking to hire him again for any future projects!

Eric did a fantastic job with finishing our basement! We are so excited to have an extra living space. Very high quality work—especially with the bathroom! It could seriously be on HGTV. He made it an easy process from start to finish. Great communication, prompt and hardworking. The project only took ~5 weeks and he even started sooner than planned. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for our next project!

Eric was great to work with. He works very hard to get the job done. His inputs to the design helped keep changes as functional and effective as possible. I’m very pleased with the results of my bathroom remodel!

Honea Construction (Eric) totally redid my hall bathroom. Completely satisfied with the finished product. As an architect, I am used to working with a wide range of contractors. Eric and his team were easy to work with for the 2 week duration. Everyone was on-time, neat, efficient and a pleasure to have inside my home. Very highly recommended!!

Eric did a great job on our bathroom remodel. He gave us a reasonable quote for the job and worked long hours to finish it in 8 days. And he was very easy to work with. He answered all of our questions, listened to our concerns and gladly made the changes and additions we asked for. We interviewed about 5 contractors for this job and we are so glad we chose Eric. We highly recommend Honea Construction for your remodeling project.

Eric worked to remodel a bathroom in our home and delivered extremely high quality work from start to finish. The bathroom needed to be rebuilt from the ground up and Eric was meticulous at every step, ensuring the final product was just as we'd hoped. Eric's process and attention to detail were exceptional. Eric did both our master bath and kitchen this fall and I cannot believe the results.

He was responsive, informative, hard working, polite, and the work he put in is top notch. No details spared and was flexible with designs when we ran into differences in the structure of the home.

I would highly recommend Eric for your next project - trustworthiness is a tough trait to find in a contractor in my experience and Eric has my trust with my home fully. I can’t wait to hire him for another project in the future.

Honea Construction did an incredible job transforming our old dated bathroom into a modern welcoming bathroom oasis. HC’s quote was easy to understand and included a floor map of our vision along with numerous recommendations for tile, fixtures and vanities. Their extremely high quality workmanship was evident throughout the process. We love our new bathroom and will use them again.

Honea Construction just completed a remodel of our primary bathroom. Eric is meticulous, organized, and a skilled contractor. We wanted a bigger shower and he had good ideas of how to rework the space. His tile work is stunning and he paid attention to detail in every aspect of the project. He completed the job quickly and we love our new bathroom!

I recently had my bathroom remodeled by Eric and I cannot recommend him enough. From the beginning, he was very timely in his arrival and communicated his job clearly to me. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start, and I felt confident in his abilities.

Throughout the project, Eric consistently performed skilled and quality work, going above and beyond to ensure that everything was done to the highest standard. What really stood out to me was how hard he worked - he put in long hours and was always focused on getting the job done right.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the results of my bathroom remodel. I highly recommend Eric for any remodeling projects you may have - you won't be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of contracting Eric Honea for a full remodel of my ranch style home. In our initial meeting, we discussed my ideas and considered options and practicalities. Eric took detailed notes and measurements and over a few days prepared a draft scope of work and floor plans.
After a few follow up discussions, we agreed to the project plan. Eric quoted the labor cost and provided a shopping list of materials (tile, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, etc) that I would buy directly and have available prior to starting demolition.
Eric was helpful during the purchasing process, answering questions and reviewing choices prior to purchase for installation considerations and practicality.
During the implementation, Eric worked diligently and tirelessly, doing most of the work himself. On my project, he brought in some helpers to assist with the installation of flooring, tile and paint.
In addition to the quoted labor cost, as the job proceeded, Eric obtained and itemized the building materials needed for the job (doors, pipe, lumber, trim work, electrical supplies, paint, etc).
End result: I could not be more pleased. Thanks Eric!

I am always concerned when hiring a contractor. Many years ago I hired a bad contractor for a basement and it was a nightmare. The last basement I finished I hired someone that was good but continually added extras that were way above market so I fired him midway through the project and hired my own subs to finish it. I mention this because now I fully vet a lot of contractors before finally settling on Honea Construction (Eric). I hired Eric to do a very complicated high-end bathroom project. This included a steam room and a sauna. I could have bought a sauna kit to build it but decided to get a better quality of cedar and add my design preferences. Eric wanted me to have all the things that I wanted in the garage before starting. Eric started the project on the date he promised. He worked diligently from 9:00AM -7:30PM six days a week. I appreciated it since the completion date would come sooner than later. Eric was open to changes that occurred from such a complicated project. This project exceeded my expectations and looks GREAT! I highly recommend Eric! He did a great job!

My wife and I renovated a powder room into a full bath adding a shower. Honea quoted a price upon acceptance of project and held true to it. The shower built replaced a closet by removing an existing wall. All labor seemed to be done without any breaks. Plumbing was routed without changing any existing plumbing. Tile was cut and placed by an artist. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome of the project and with the advice of Eric when we weren’t sure on what we should do the bathroom turned out great. We highly recommend Honea construction. They’ll be doing or kitchen next.
