To Platt or not to Platt. History has taught us many lessons and the lessons learned from developments are ever present in the archives of city expansion.
These lessons show us that as a city grows it must take on surrounding areas and it must provide utilities of many sorts in order to have the infrastructure needed for civilization.
Plaiting simply ensures that everybody plays by the same rules. It is up to the city planning and County planning to determine those rules and regulations an engineer simply fulfills the painstaking task of addressing each and every entity required by law to sign off on your plat.
I have gone through this experience it is very lengthy and it is easy to hold your plaiting engineer responsible for failed progress or what you may assume to be failed progress .

I talked to several engineers before I started my plat and I did not like hearing the amount of time it was going to take. I am an American I want my stuff and I want it now if that sounds familiar sit down get you a cup of coffee and realize that there is no fast way through this process

I am so happy that I hired Henry Elizondo and Associates to perform my platt yes it took a long time and yes I was frustrated at times however as time went on I realized that the process and time lines were not under his controll.

I must tell you something about Henry's honesty at the beginning there was a large fee to the city of $2,500 that Henry did not have on his chart of accounts I became a little frustrated however Henry immediately step forward and paid for that out of his pocket apologized and assured me that he would get it on his chart of accounts for the next customer well how many people do you know of that would step up to the plate and take care of you like that not many and for that honorable mention I would promote and give the highest referral to Mr Elizondo thank you Henry.

This company may be short staffed. They won't return calls or emails. They may not be interested in new business. Go somewhere else if you would like anything done within three months.

Worst, most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. If you choose to work with them, do not give them their fee up front as they will not do the work they promised in a timely way once they have their money. Got bad reports on them from the city and county offices as well.

Would not do business with this company agin. They were argumentative, did not care to provide costomer satisfaction and a general lack of professionalism. They made the whole process emotionally and mentaly stressful. I regret entrusting this company with something so important. Will never use there services agin and hope they threat others with more respect and kindness than they treated my family.
