Chris and Nolan at Grade Design + Build are courteous, professional, and talented. Their work is exactly as they describe in their estimate and preliminary discussions. Their estimates are also accurate! Highly recommend working with them. Their masonry is top-notch, and they also have a wonderful eye for plantings and overall landscape design.

Major gratitude goes out to Chris and Nolan from GRADE Landscape Design + Build for creating a beautiful playground oasis for our boys!! Hank and Arthur are obsessed with dirt, rocks and sand so we knew we needed to create an environment for them to play where they could use their imagination and embrace their curiosity. We also wanted something that would feel natural and timeless. It felt like we wanted to accomplish so many goals at once and the more I researched the more I wanted it to be.
Then Chris entered the chat! I sent him only a few pictures of what I was thinking and he immediately understood the assignment. He designed a space that was everything we wanted and more! He's passionate about what he does and it's evident with the admirable attention to detail, commitment to design and creating a functional yet beautiful space. Chris is a kind, hardworking man and we couldn't have imagined anyone else designing such a perfect space - he got exactly what we wanted the vibe to be! Nolan brings the stonework, irrigation and industry expertise that helped make this project shine. We joked that he "does rock" because he whipped up a boulder sandpit in what felt like a matter of minutes, he's passionate about repurposed stones and was excited to tell us the history of the old curb the boys will now use to skip along.
Chris and Nolan's expertise are perfect complements to each other which makes them a great team. They have an incredible work ethic, attention to deal and communication. But my favorite part was after a long day working (with some of the most extreme heat we've ever had) Hank and Arthur would run out and test out the newly installed slide or hop on the wooden stumps and Chris and Nolan would beam with joy. It was hard to see whose smiles were bigger - Hank/Arthur or Chris/Nolan. Thanks for bringing our family so much joy, guys! We'll miss having you here but know how much we appreciate all the hard work that went into making our yard so special. What's next??

We are incredibly happy with the outcome of our backyard project and we’re so impressed with Chris and Nolan’s work. They were very professional and communicative and we ended up with an amazing space.

They scoped out the backyard and had a lot of great ideas when we were looking for ways to improve our space. They worked with us on the quote and were very thorough. They communicated a timeline and were able to start our project earlier than anticipated. They checked in throughout the project and got input when necessary.

I was really impressed by their organization and care during the project. We needed to be able to let our dogs out at the end of the night so they set up a temporary fence and made sure it was secured every day when they stopped working. They were out in the rain and the snow to keep to the timeline. They took great care to layer materials and build a solid foundation to ensure the stone wouldn’t shift over time. They found some boulders in the ground when they were excavating and found ways to work them into the final design which was impressive.

Everyone who has seen the finished work has been very impressed. I would highly recommend GRADE to anyone looking for high quality work with an amazing team.

Lawncraft is the best! Michael has helped me out more times then I can count and not just regarding my lawn and garden. My electric fence that I depend on for my two dogs was not working and I asked Michael if he knew anything about electric fences. He was able to find the problem and got it up and running for me. I can not recommend him, his company Lawncraft or his crew enough. They are very professional and very affordable. Can’t say enough about them!

The guys came out on the scheduled date and did a fantastic job. They reviewed the work they planned to do which aligned exactly to what I had requested. I had question and Mike the owner got back to me right away to Answer and clarify I have had lots of fall and spring clean ops in past but this was by far the best. Lawncraft has been taking care of our lawn and gardens for several years. They have done everything from basic lawn care, weeding, brush removal to rebuilding a brick way and building a fire pit. We are more than pleased with their work. We find them very responsive and very reasonably priced. Michael and his crew do a great job and very professional. Can’t say enough about them!

I really want to give these folks the credit they deserve. I've used LawnCraft a few times now and they are incredibly fast and do amazing work. I have a good sized yard with a LOT of trees. I wasn't able to do a fall cleanup this past year so we had a ton of leaves built up.
This crew of just 4 guys showed up around 10 am, and by 3pm, they were wrapping up. The yard is clean, the flower beds are raked out... they do amazing work. The cost is absolutely worth it and the prices are very reasonable.

The landscape design process with Nest Outdoors was thoughtful, creative and clarified a vision for our home in Hollis, New Hampshire.

We had been considering a new patio for our backyard but were unsure how all the features we wanted—a firepit, stone sitting walls, and an outdoor kitchen—could best be laid out in our available space. We were also unsure which materials would work best—or what such a transformation would cost.

Nest’s design process answered all our questions and introduced ideas and options we would have never considered. We now have a complete master plan that brings everything together, and a clear understanding of construction costs.

I am not sure I can fully express in writing how much I have enjoyed working with Wayne and his team at Nest Outdoors. They completed work on our front yard this past summer, which involved installing drainage to prevent erosion, adding landscaping beds, shaping a hilly and challenging area, installing a natural stone staircase, creating a raised bed garden area, constructing a walkway and parking area with pavers, and adding plantings. Our property has many challenges, and Wayne truly rose to meet each one!

I especially love the natural rock staircase with garden beds that Wayne created. I have a passion for using stone around my home, but if it’s not done correctly, it can appear contrived rather than natural. Wayne has a wonderful ability to place boulders and stones in a way that looks both beautiful and natural, enhancing the beauty of our property.

Before discovering Nest Outdoors, we unfortunately worked with another company that, despite the high price tag, did a very poor job. They installed a walkway that was uneven and unfinished, and a retaining wall that was a complete disaster. I only wish I had found Wayne and his team earlier, but I am confident the work they’ve done to replace it will last for years to come—both beautiful and functional.

Wayne’s background in art is evident in the design process, and as a hobbyist gardener myself, he was a pleasure to collaborate with and exchange ideas. He was just as excited about the design and creating something beautiful as I was, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. From start to finish, he was clear and straightforward about what would and wouldn’t work, as well as pricing for different aspects of the work. He was also willing to work in phases since we couldn’t afford everything we wanted to do all at once. His attention to detail is reflected in the high-quality results.

The whole team was a pleasure to have work at our home. They made sure to leave the site clean at the end of each day and never left any trash behind. They were all exceedingly patient and kind to my 8-year-old twins, who love to ask lots of questions and be involved in everything.

I just completed the design phase of my landscaping project with Nest Outdoors. I could not be more pleased and satisfied with Wayne’s professionalism, attention to detail and creativity. He came out to my property to access the land elevations, water flow, sun exposure, etc. while listening to what I was looking for and my concerns. He was very thorough and collaborative throughout the design process. I did not feel pressured into any decisions. Wayne fully explained many design and material options; which I feel other landscapers tend to miss the mark on.

The structure of the design process allows both Nest Outdoors and his client to have clear expectations of the cost, scope and schedule of the project. Wayne also will develop the project into phases if you want to complete them at separate times.

Wayne has outstanding communication skills and is very responsive – I could not be happier with the design Wayne created and I look forward to the next phase of the project. I highly recommend Nest Outdoors to anyone looking for an extremely hard working, creative, high quality landscape designer.

I found Wayne of Nest Outdoors while searching for outdoor hardscaping companies. After talking to him for about 20 minutes I knew that he was perfect for our job! He completely understood what I was looking for and added some great ideas of his own. The job entailed lots of boulder work and natural stone steps as well as landing areas and a flagging walk path.
The team did an absolutely beautiful job while always maintaining a neat work area and the most pleasant attitude!
We were always informed of when they were coming and going and they made the entire process very easy!
