The owner will say whatever it takes to get you off the phone even if it’s not true. Never show up when they say they will. Bills sent without the work done. Calls not returned. Emails not returned. Rude responses if you ask why you were ignored. When work is done, it’s done poorly.

Unless there are two companies with the same name, both run by Antonio, I have the right company. Billing for work you never did, hoping the customer won’t realize it, it’s just plain wrong.

Modern Cuts of SWF does a very good job cutting our lawn. The men are nice and they stay on schedule. I would recommend them.

Staked trees after hurricane and yarn which did not hold. Have reached out several time and of course since they have their money - no reply. Was told would come back to mulch- don’t trust them!

My parents used this company for one of their properties and it was a nightmare. Running over sprinkler heads, not showing up on time, and constant difficulty with Antonio. There are tons of great landscaping companies in SW FL, avoid this one.

Antonio and his crew were fantastic. Great price, got here the morning after I got the quote, cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't have exceeded by expectations more! Tricky job right near my pool.

I needed 18 palm trees planted, they had a crew out that day. Very courteous and professional. Also very reasonable rates, I plan on using them to help finish my landscaping.

They talk a good game but did not supply references when asked. Had to contact over and over. Then they withdrew their hid. We did manage to track down a customer of theirs and learned they do a lot of subcontracting which they failed yo mention! Stay Away!!

We had the crew come out to remove a tree in our backyard and they were very professional cleaned up the mess and even made sure we were okay with it before they left. My backyard looks so much better now. I will definitely be using them again!!

Antonio has come to our home twice in Grandezza to perform landscaping design services and tree removal. Both occasions were very pleasant and completed beyond my expectations. It was well worth the money spent and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for QUALITY work and a business who stands by their word!

I had a huge Jacaranda tree in my back yard. It took an extra level of precision to remove due to its close proximity to my home. They did a great job and were very reasonably priced! I have since referred family and friends to them.

I had a really bad experience with this company, they cleared two lots for me in north fort myers, they left the stumps so I called to ask when they would return since they wanted full payment after the job was finished. Instead of returning they said the machine was broken so I called once a month, after I payed the full amount before they were supposed to remove the stumps they claimed that once the machine was fixed they would remove the stumps. I called back last week and they told me they'd call me back, only to never respond until today saying that stump removal wasn't in the estimate which was confusing since they were saying they would return to finish it for almost 3 months.

I regret hiring this company and would not recommend them to anyone

I hired Modern Cuts to do custom landscaping at my home. Not only were they prompt with their services, they demonstrated high quality work! Listen, I understand completely that life happens... However, when you sign a contract, they hounded us for two days because they were ready to work! But then they can't show up or finish the job they started, which is a red flag in itself. The girls in the office are super unprofessional. No one in the company allows you to speak as a customer, and everyone overtalks you. Red flag #2. Either way, you will be told one thing by someone inside the company and another by someone else. Please beware of how unprofessional this company is! The price point is great, but they don't finish the job for the price!

I asked this company to do one stump grinding (done well by independent company) and replace a gardenia tree that had lived out its life. They did not complete the work on time. When they did the gardenia removal, they did NOT replace the tree with another tree - I got a gardenia shrub. Not worth the $75 they charged me - barely 10" tall. Non responsive to text messages or emails. Hire someone else.

The crew at Modern Cuts of SWFL did a great job with my well overdue coconut tree. They trimmed it tightly and cleaned up all the debris as if nothing happened.
They offered the best price out of 4 estimates and got the job in a timely manner. My tree has never looked this great, I highly recommend!
