I was there in 2019 and wrote my original review right after we left the property.
"Pick your own fruit, farm market and ice cream stand. We loved that everyone with different dietary needs was able to enjoy something. We had a great time picking fruit together and will definitely be back with other family members. We enjoy being able to eat seasonal foods. Great experience for all."
I moved away from the area and haven't been back in 5 years.

(Review of ice cream shop only, have not been to garden center)
FYI: Cash only! Large selection of flavors, great variety. Not sure what you want? Get a flight and pick any 4 flavors! Decent portions for price.

I bought an apple pie there and will never buy another one. The crust was raw, couldn’t eat it. The apples were hard and had a terrible taste. Jeannie or who ever made it can not bake. You should be more aware of the pies before you sell them! I wasted 15.00! Never again!

The Front Porch ice cream is the reason I dropped by. Great workers, big scoops and lots of flavours!

Omg, loved it. POEPLE was amazing and very helpful. Customer was sweet and eager to help and give lessons on who to take care of the planets. Learned this is locally own business and it shows. This is definitely my place to go for now own.

They carry Giffords' Ice Cream, the best ice cream around. Quality ice cream with different flavors to try. Go and check it out, worth the drive out there.

Great selection and employees come right up and ask if they can help you!

I love green acres. They had a Cousins Lobster truck in the parking lot. Their plants are always excellent in the garden center but bringing in the food truck is just another compliment just like doughnuts they make and candy apples.
    Thank you.

The yearly October sale is great, amazing plants at low prices. Try there donuts too and apple cider

I've always had a good experience whenever I head to Green Acre Nursery. I can peruse the aisles, find what I need quite easily, and the employees are very helpful. In addition, I come in most of the time with my toddler and he's never treated like he could be a problem.

October is the month to get your donuts and cider. They are sooooooooo good and baked fresh though out the day.

My wife and I took our daughter here today and had a great time. This was the perfect place for kids without the massive crazy crowds of the bigger names in the region. The teepee and hay play area were wonderful. In the store the prices were surprisingly low for this type of store. I reccomend the cider and the fudge. My wife got some great homemade jam and I got some specialty honey mustard that is to die for. We might even be back next weekend because we had such a nice visit.

They deserve a zero. A year ago, they told me they were dog-friendly, we shopped a few times. Most recently, went to pick-up items for the season with my extremely well-behaved and friendly dog, and just after paying for my order, they informed me that they are now not dog-friendly, they only allow service dogs. I brought my dog back to the car and returned with my order for a refund.

I'll take my well-behaved and friendly dog, along with my $$$ to nurseries and stores that do allow dogs, places like; Van Putte, Garden Factory and Lowe's (where they're very happy to see my dog). If you're going to revise a policy, post signage in/on your property and try to inform your customers before they spend their time & money at your business, this way, you can continue with your policy and I can support other small businesses who have no issues with dogs visiting their stores. ✌🏻❤️

*Regarding your response... Where is the signage on your property?? Also, if we engaged with your staff, at no point in those engagements was; 1) my dog an issue of any type, and 2) any mention by your staff that your policy had changed, and 3) don't assume everyone in the world is hip to your social media presence, also adding 4) because there was absolutely no mention of your revised "anti-canine on-premises" made/conveyed by your staff, and/or visible signage regarding your change in policy, during our visit during extremely low shopper turn-out hours but despite that we attempted to support a local business that we THOUGHT we'd like to support but, turns out their professionalism is quite lackluster, good riddance, oh and 5) there was no mention of your change-in- policy until my payment transaction was completed, which is honestly, not professional, but.....

Good luck to you and dealing with smaller/younger out-of-control children who probably destroy your property unchecked/unquestioned while their parents/guardians shop, but sure, make my extremely well-behaved and extremely friendly dog Unwelcome at your business. If there was such an encounter with an aggressive canine at your location, maybe your entire staff should be trained to alert customers who may arrive to your store with canines that your canine policy has changed, but don't take my $$$, and tell me AFTER you've taken my $$$$ that canines are not welcome at your business, because honestly, that tells me your policy is suspect.

Well, anyways, carry on, with so much Peace & Love to you all, God blesses every flower.

One of my absolute favorite places! Beautiful plants and flowers, the cutest decor and the most delicious fall donuts. My family is so grateful that we are able to get fresh donuts here since the bakery is nut free!

Green Acre farm and nursery is such a great place to visit! There are so many options for flowers, annuals and perennials, and trees and shrubs. They have a good selection of gardening tools and supplies. Fresh veggies and fruit are priced great and very fresh. If you need help with anything heavy, etc, the staff is available, helpful and friendly.

Beautiful selection of flowers in the nursery! There's also a mountain of cured wood for fireplaces or bonfires.

By far the BEST donuts! I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my daughter every year. We just got our pumpkin 🍩🎃

Love this place and the staff. We continue to have a great experience year after year. Most of our fall decor comes from here. Not only is the selection of pumpkins and decorations excellent but they have those apple cider slushys that my girls are obsessed with. Obviously we'll be visiting again soon!
