Working with blades of grass truly was a wonderful experience on all perspectives: price, schedule flexibility, last minute changes, ability to work with the crew and supervisor during the installation process, etc. Even their receptionist were amazingly energetic, polite, understanding, and helpful. I could go on and on but I won't. If you are thinking of doing a project please at least here what they have to say! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I contacted Blades of Grass in a bit of a bind, I was putting my home on the market in a very short time and needed some work done quickly. Blades of Grass was very quick to come out, listen to what I wanted done and give me an estimate followed by scheduling the service super quick.

The team of gentlemen that came out were professional and did a wonderful job, I couldn't have asked for more. And, shockingly, the work that was done managed to withstand the storm that produced several tornadoes and knocked out power to a good portion of the state for a week.

I highly recommend this company.

I’ve been using Blades of Grass as my lawn maintenance service since I moved to the area 3 years ago, I am very happy with their professionalism and the quality of work they do.

The team that works on my property is always prompt, efficient and thorough. This season they have expanded their services to include a more intensive level of care. I am pleased to be working with Mike who handles the extended care maintenance program. As with the other members of team, Mike is personable and also instructive.

As the company attests, they are not the cheapest lawn service but I think they are the best! My 1-1/2 acres of (mostly) lawn looks amazing!! Thanks, guys!

My husband and I developed thistle in our yard this year that spread like wildfire. When we called around, other companies didn’t seem to listen to our main concern of getting rid of the thistle. When I called Blades of Grass I talked to Kelly and she instantly made me feel like she was listening. She took into account the current condition of the yard and what was important to us. She could not have been nicer. Today, we had our first fertilizer treatment and weed spray put down by them. Mike R came out and BLEW US AWAY! We previously worked with another landscaping company that wasn’t addressing our concerns. They would show up without letting us know they were coming and they would just leave without saying a word to us. Mike did not do that! He actually approached my husband to introduce himself and let him know what he was here to do. I walked outside to talk to him, just to make sure my flowers would be okay, and again, could not have been nicer. He shook my hand, introduced himself, and explained what he was there to do. He had such a warm smile and a kind personality. He was thorough going around our yard and I didn’t feel like he just rushed to get the job done. I received a text when he was about 5 minutes away from our house, and another text when he was done to tell me what he did and the condition of the yard/ what to expect. This to me is top tier service. I am so thankful we found someone we feel comfortable with that we are excited to continue to work with! I know this is a lengthy review, but they really truly blew us away. Thank you Blades of Grass!

I’ve had a very good customer experience with this company. First off Courtney is very knowledgeable, and has a positive attitude. She’s also kind and courteous. Everything I asked for she made sure she communicated that with the guys that came out to provide service. She also returns phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. Blades of grass came out very promptly, and I noticed that they did their best as far as getting me in as soon as possible. The guys that provided the service , Mike, Matthew, and Kenny executed exactly what I needed. The guys made sure they introduced themselves to me and my mom. They were very patient with us, and invited us to answer as many questions as we needed. They totally transformed my yard, and I’ve been so satisfied with the results, that I’ve joined their maintenance program. This company is very professional, and they have excellent customer service, in addition to excellent results, I recommend them to all my neighbors.

We are so happy with Blades of Grass. This week our lawn was cut and cared for by Mike and he did an excellent job. He cut the lawn exactly the way my mom likes it and she is a picky customer when it comes to her lawn care. Can we always have Mike please?? 🙂 He did the cross hatch pattern on the grass with the push mower which is very nice. All the employees are professional and polite. They always listen to any requests and do a nice job. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering lawn or snow service.

Excellent customer service after a stone broke my patio door! I was very impressed by how quickly they came out to assess the damage and how they followed up with a reputable glass company to repair my patio door at no cost to me. The lawn always looks great too. Worth the money when you are treated like a valued customer.

This is the first time I’ve used blades of grass landscaping for a spring clean, edging, and mulch. They did a wonderful job, and were very nice. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them next time for landscaping service. Kelly, Myron and Kenny were very good.

Our salesperson, Kelly was courteous, professional & emailed a quote to me within hours of her visit. The process of sending a deposit was effortless with their website. The crew of Mike, Matt & Kenny did an amazing job of clearing the western boundary of our property to get it ready for the landscape project we have in mind for next spring. I was amazed that they were able to pull out some of the dead shrubs with their bare hands...wow! They even did a nice job of raking and cleaning up when they finished. Just wanted to add on to my original review. I had Blades of Grass also do an aerate and overseed, and once again Mike not only did a great job, but he also answered all my questions and explained everything very thoroughly! There was an issue getting the original aerator through my fence to the back so after completing the front Mike informed he would return next day and get the back with a smaller machine and he did just that! Great communication throughout the process, great service, and a great technician! Best Lawn Care company I have ever worked with!

I would like to give a shout out to Blades of Grass especially Kelly for her landscape designs. I have had worked with her over the past two years and everything has turned out beautiful. The staff is very courteous and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a fresh look.

Jacob helped my sister get unstuck in the snow and then offered to plow the snow at the end of the driveway so it won’t happen again. He’s so sweet for that and it was definitely appreciated!!

We’ve had Blades of Grass since we moved to Oberlin in 2020. Their lawn service is top notch. Their mowers are considerate and excel at doing what we ask. We’re very pleased

We used Blades of Grass to trim all of our bushes. We live on 7 heavily landscaped acres. There was a LOT of work to do. The crew was fantastic! They were on time and very friendly. They listened to all of my instructions and asked questions to make sure they did it right. They were skilled, professional, and worked hard. I couldn't be happier with the result. I would definitely recommend Blades of Grass for your yard work.
