This company is absolutely awful to deal with! I had their aeration and overseeding service done just today. It was supposed to be done 3 days ago but they no-showed me after waiting around for them all day. I called to cancel the service and was told I had to talk to a supervisor before they would refund my money. Rather than call me back they just threw me on their calendar again without even informing me. Something they have a habit of doing by the way. I guess we're on their time and not the other way around. I can't say I'm very impressed with their services either. They call it overseeding but after walking around my yard I could barely see any seed and none around the edges. Their technicians are very friendly and professional but unfortunately not very thorough. I had to use my own seed to get the spots he missed. They filled their little hopper once and that was it. I would've expected a whole bag for my size yard. Especially at their price point. Needless to say I would steer clear of these guys. From what I gathered by one of their techs they were bought out by a corporation, GTCR, in 2022 and their services have suffered ever since. I'm definitely not impressed and won't be using them again.

Signed up for holiday lighting. I am already a customer of Senske for lawn care and usually they are great in that department. I get good communication from them and good service.

BUT the holiday lighting has been the complete opposite experience. I was promised they would be out “next week” after the quote. I waited a full week and never heard a word. Called the office asking for an update. The person on the phone tells me I’m not on the schedule, that he would have to talk to his boss and would call me back. A week later, I have heard nothing. I call back again the next week. They tell me they will be out the following Monday (today). I say ok. I take a the day off work to ensure I am here, wait around all day and nobody shows up. I send an email to customer service, who replies and says oh we changed to another day. With no call? No text? No communication of any kind? This department needs some training from the lawn care side. I am seriously unimpressed. Seriously considering canceling all my services and going with someone else.

We had aerating and reseeding scheduled. The aeration was fine. The reseeding was ridiculous. He simply scattered the seed without scratching it in. No watering, no covering with soil. By noon next day the birds and wind had taken it all. Why should we pay for this?

Jacob called before coming, was very helpful and friendly and thorough in his servicing my lawn. His attitude was refreshing that he was legitimately wanting to give his best for maximum results at my home rather than just going through the motions in doing a job.

If you want your yard to look like this hire Senske where you get no response or return service calls. I spent thousands on my lawn just to have them kill it! A lesson lesson learned. They came out took ownership three times and never came back again!

Andrew was polite called ahead asked what I wanted done. If there was anything special, he was fast. And efficient.

Despite our discussion of other reviewers whose lawns were burned by this company, and their assurance that this wouldn't happen to me, it happened. Despite my lawn being very obviously chemically burned, they even proceeded with more fertilizer treatments without them mentioning the situation. I don't expect to have to mention this to lawn care professionals. I won't be doing business here again.

Our garbage bin had fallen over whe being dumped this morning. I didn't have time to pick it up. Senske came and did our lawn this morning and didn't set it upright. They just worked around it leaving a good size area of our parkway untreated.

Our technician was awesome! I was having a hectic morning when he arrived and he kept the chat short and sweet. Did a great job and was super professional

Personable and thorough. They have been taking care of my lawn fertilization, weed control, aeration, overseeding for 2 years now. When I moved into this residence you couldn't even tell there was much lawn. Also, their tree service saved my fruit trees and rose bushes.
Updated November 2024, Dartavius came to spray dormant oil on my trees and bushes today. He was kind and took time to answer questions. Trees have grown so much in past 2 years since they have received deep root injection fertilizer too.

Technician let me know he was here and answered all me questions. No concerns. Too soon to tell if the service itself will be good for my lawn.

Great group and beautiful job!! We had lights put up on our home and a few trees this holiday. Loved the job they did, from initial contact to the end result. I’d highly recommend this group.

He was super friendly and interested in my concerns for my grass. I showed him a patch that had died because we moved a chicken coop onto it for a few weeks while we built a new one. He made sure to go over it thoroughly with the fertilizer.

Horrible work. I helped my elderly father arrange for some yard care since he is disabled. We called what we thought was a reputable larger company. Very poor quality service and horrible customer service from the supervisor who refused to correct the shoddy work. They claim to have a satisfaction guarantee. Don't believe it. He contracted for a spring cleanup specifically for his yard to be edged with a hard edge front and back on the lawn, as well as having all weeds treated in the planter beds, since it was overgrown. Senske came and treated many weeds but also missed many large weeds. When asked to do the hard edge they contracted to do on the lawn (nice crisp straight, cut lawn edges), they simply trimmed the edge of the grass poorly and unevenly with no hard edge created. Pictures show the lack of edges, the lack of weed treatment and the horrible mess of long grass on the edges by the fence, and in planters under the trees. This will now all have to be redone at great expense to us. I recommend you avoid this company.

Update: As you can see owner replied to this bad review with an email address to contact them so they could make it right. No phone number. I emailed the address asking them to please contact me at my cell and there has been no response. I called the customer service number on my contract and the woman said she had to talk to the supervisor and get back to me....no response. Horrible customer service. Poor work. They seem to be ignoring my communications so far.

Richard was very cordial and helpful. He clarified an error a previous technician made and said we can still have product sprayed in our home if we need to. Thank you Richard!

Cody, was great… He was professional from start to finish… Informing & updating me on his approximate arrival time to my property…Once here he explained the purpose of the application and letting me know the morning dew and any frost would probably be enough moisture on the lawn for now ….Also, assured me he would lock my gate on his way out too… In my book he rocked the customer service end … Top notch employee…. Lawn looks great… Senske lucky to have him…..

We have paid on average $650 a year for the past two years for Senske services to service our lawn. They have only been doing our front yard and not our backyard since we just had new landscaping installed a couple years ago in the backyard. The front yard has never had more weeds ever and our backyard looks far better than our front yard.. Here are some photos of the front yard . I addressed the situation with the company and they came out and claimed to have done a weed spray which did absolutely nothing. Couldn’t be more frustrated or disappointed with these services. I’m definitely going elsewhere. Total waste of money.

They just sent me a final bill and they were billing me triple what we had originally agreed upon. Yes, I had to pay an additional $200 for the weeds you see in the photos. So tired of business that take a mile if you give them an inch. If you're a Senske customer, be sure to watch your bill and the frequency with which they come service your lawn. If you're not careful, you'll get slammed like I was. Definitely going to find another company

I’m so glad that we hired Senske to get rid of the carpenter ants and rodents that were wreaking havoc in our home. We live in an older neighborhood with lots of vegetation and neighbors with chickens, which attracts both. Jimmy is an excellent technician and very thorough, and always a pleasure to talk to. I never worry that something will escape his notice, and I am grateful for his expertise!

I used this company for my trees and grass for nine years. I have 17 trees half of them are dying. They came out and gave me an estimate for pruning and giving injections in my trees. They quoted me $2800. This was a deal because I am an excellent customer.
NO DEAL WAS GIVEN!I WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE.
They came out and pruned my trees Charged me $2800 and then told me it would be another $1200 for the injections. Five guys for four hours is $560 AN HOUR!
Now they won’t call me back.
If you have trees and want to spend thousands of dollars and have them look terrible use this company.

We heard about P&I through family. We hired them to maintain our properties, which included lawn care, clean ups, and complete sprinkler over hauls. Their prices and customer service was exceptional. We plan on continuing our relationship with this company and its employees.
