From my first visit to their impressive website, which tells you anything you ever wanted to know about foam and their company, to the first phone call with Ira and up to the last handshake with Corey and Kyron. Great team, arrived early did a superb job and left the place cleaner than when they arrived! Wish I could give them 10 stars! Give them a call, you won't be sorry!

Follow-up to previous post: Now back in house a year after Flood of 2016 and realizing GREAT energy savings on utility bills due to the closed cell foam installed by Sunlight Contractors! It insulates so well that I can turn off air or heat in morning and temperature in house only increases 2 degrees by late afternoon, saving approximately $100 a month! They've even followed up twice to make sure I'm happy with their service. I'm VERY impressed and pleased with their company and product! Thanks again Ira and Corey!

We were very pleased with the work that Sunlight Contractors did for us. The were very professional and courteous. Ira and Clayton did a great job of explaining the process. We now have an attic that is much cleaner and more energy efficient. I would recommend their services to anybody.

This is a pre-review. I first called Sunlight Contractors for my spray foam project because of their good reviews on Angie's list. When I called the company, Ira seemed very knowledgeable. He sent me a lot of information about spray foam and the process, and what to look for in a contractor. The number of certifications held by the lead installer is very impressive! I anticipate the job to go smoothly.

The job has happened. The workers showed up within the promised time frame and they did their job, simple as that. During the spraying procedure, things were relatively quiet and there was no impact on my activities. They installed a temporary blower in my doorway so that I would not have to smell anything. When they finished, they took me to the attic to see what had been done, and everything looked good. I am anxious for a hot, sunny day so I can see the difference in my attic/garage temperature!

One thing to be aware of: if you have a square footage based on your floor plan, the attic roof square footage will be a little higher if you have a sloped roof. (Think triangles and the Pythagorean theorem.) The company will send out somebody beforehand to calculate the roof square footage and the actual cost for the job. The project cost might be a little higher than the estimate you got over the phone, but it is entirely fair because of the increased square footage.

I did not get to use any services from sunlight contractors, due to my purchase agreement falling through. However Mr. Ira was extremely helpful with giving me understanding of the process of how they would get the job done. I would recommend using sunlight contractor services.

Sunlight was all-around the best choice. They seemed high at first (I had 3 quotes), but when I started asking questions about what was included, I quickly found that they were the lowest price when you consider all they do with a standard job (make sure you are comparing apples to apples).

DO YOUR RESEARCH!! This is a major change to your home - spray foam homes need some other considerations to function properly, so be sure it is right for you. I am replacing my air conditioner at the same time, so I was able to tailor the system to work properly - you need sealed combustion appliances for safety with this insulation, so be prepared to spend more money than just insulation. It might change your cooling needs too, so make sure you consult a KNOWLEDGEABLE AC guy too (there are surprisingly few in BR).

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to hire these guys again. They were highly knowledgeable and did the job right the first time. Their crew was respectful and courteous as well.

My issues started when we noticed our original floor boards in our 100 year old house started cupping on the edges. With the amount of humidity and rain that we get I had moisture problems under my house. Thankfully the first company I contacted turned out to be a disappointment and I called Sunlight Contractors. I received a call from Ira that same day. He knew what my problem was and how to fix it before laying eyes on it. Someone came by the house the next morning and I had the quote that same day. The moisture levels were extremely high. They dried out the wood under my house before installing the closed cell spray foam. My floors have mostly returned to original state and the entire down stairs feels more solid. Time will tell on the energy savings but I am sure it will be significant. The entire crew was professional and efficient. It seems to have eliminated our problems and helped us preserve our home. Mr. Ira is one of the nicest guys that I have dealt with in dealing with anything contractor related. Thanks Sunlight!

Sunlight Contractors added spray foam to our attic last week. We have yet to run the AC or heat much in the past week due to fair weather, but we look forward to energy savings and a reduced electrical bill. Our experience with the company was very good. They were on time, did exactly as they explained, completed the work in the amount of time they estimated, and were very professional. The crew was super friendly and even helped carry my infant son down the stairs when it was time to leave the house (federal regulation while spraying). I came back to a relatively clean house with no problems. The work was done seemingly well, which is all you really want. I would recommend this company because the price was fair and the service was extraordinary.

Ira and Corey were able to remove our old blow-in insulation and spray the roofline with new insulation. They did a fantastic job and left with no hitches. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied with the professionalism, quality of work, and attention to detail given by this team! Our project was not only removal and replacement of old insulation with the spray-foam type, but new spray-foam added to an existing extension of the house -- a job of significant size that took approximately three days. Yet there were no cut corners, communication was thorough and prompt at all stages, and a follow-up was made after the job was done to ensure that thoroughness of work. Sunlight Contractors was professional from start to finish. Even with their booked schedule they were still able to accommodate us with a swift response & installation.
Due to lack of insulation in the attic our house would be 80-83 F from early afternoon until well after the sun went down. Meanwhile our AC was running without stop nearly twenty hours a day to try & keep up.
The same day they installed the insulation our home cooled off quickly & now our AC easily cools & maintains all day everyday. There was some residual smell from the foam insulation, but it dissipated within a couple of days.

Everything is very clean, even our cable guy commented on how clean of a job it was! Ira took a lot of time to explain everything to us and make sure we didn't have any questions. Sunlight Contractors was a pleasure to do buisness with from start to finish. From setting up my initial appointment, getting a quote, all the way up to job completion everyone on the Sunlight team was prompt, polite, and professional. In just a few hours they insulated my entire house (attic and exterior walls with open cell foam in the attic and closed cell foam on the exterior walls) and the finished product looks great.
