Troy was very professional when I called to make an appointment. He was very informative, answered every question I had and made suggestions of things we needed to replace. He was very reasonable on pumping our sewer and even when it was giving him issues draining he worked out the clog and made sure everything was running and working properly before leaving. Would 11/10 recommend Troy to anyone in Denham springs and the surrounding areas, very pleased with his work and prices.

I was having some draining issues and my toilets was not flushing and I called southern wastewater and they came out the same day and fixed my issue. I highly recommend them for all your sewer needs!

This morning was the 2nd time I've used Cooks. Both times the same two young men came. Please don't judge the book by its cover. Both of these guys were very polite and knew what they were doing. One of them is covered in tattoos but was a very polite and professional. I recommend these 2 hard working guys. I hope the owner of Cooks let these guys know about my comment.

I recommend improving on dispatch charges. I think it’s a little silly to charge someone $69 (sale) or $99 to come out to your home just for them to tell you there is nothing they can do until it breaks ‘all the way’, take a photo, and then charge you without providing a single service. There was also no “drain cleaning” like the invoice states.
I definitely feel like I got taken advantage of financially.
A reasonable dispatch fee (if any) shouldn’t be more than $25…
It would make more sense for a dispatch fee to be this high IF it went towards the repair cost, but if there is nothing to repair and they gave you about 5 minutes of their time, there should be no fee or a much smaller fee.

Last year we did service with these guys. We were having plumbing issues and they came in took care of the problem which was inserting a tube underneath where the toilet was installed. Earlier this year we had the same problem with our plumbing and to get our house remodeled. We tried a different plumbing services. Now let me tell you this guys figure out what the problem was after I explained to them what was going on after I contact the city to explained what was going on. The new plumbing services went to our backyard they dug up where the problem was and he told us that whats causing this was a tree root blocking the sewer pipe. Now why Jake's Plumbing cause have just did that?? Since I payed yall and Apparently yall didn't do a good job because that would have save us the time and hassle.

I’ve used Jake’s for several projects. Remodel after the 2016 flood. Hot water heater and other smaller repairs. Usually same day or next day service and always professional. Highly recommend!

The real issue was the blatant attempt to upsell me. The technician fabricated a need to fix a supposedly broken pipe, a job he quoted at $1,925.00. When I refused, he packed up and left, leaving the original problem completely unresolved. When I called to complain, I was blamed for their failure because I didn't want to spend an additional $200.00 more to fix the problem that the $ 363.00 did not cover. This company is a complete joke and cares only about trying to get as much money as they can from a retiree. Shame on you, no morals and no values. Avoid them at all costs."

My plumbing matters was an urgent matter! I made contact with Jake's on yesterday evening and Dionne made his way to my home early this morning. Dionne came a little early which able me to attend church! He was professional, thorough, and determined to fix the problem with my plumbing. I am very pleased with Jake's Plumbing.
