What a wonderful experience in a day were it seems pride of work is gone. Had a plumbing problem on a Saturday evening. Didnt need them that night but did need a quick response. They set up a time for Sunday morning, got there promptly, the individual was very nice and professional and got straight to work. He fixed my problem extremely quickly. The workmanship looks great and i would not be happier.

I had sort of a major issue; both of my toilets were not working; I called at about 7:45am and they were both fixed by 9:15am by 2 of the nicest guys, Seth and Chris. They were very professional but personable and with an old lady like me, that is important. I would definitely recommend Jake's Plumbing to anyone.

Sewer was backing up into the yard! Emailed Jake's at 8:00PM ... they responded and were at my house at 7:30AM. Plumbers (Jordan and Donnie) were courteous, friendly, professional and fixed the problem. This is my second wonderful experience with them! Call and be impressed.

Horrible Experience, but there is one positive thing Jakes did not charge me for the diagnostic fee after I called to complain about what happened. I had a Rheem on-demand hot water heater throwing out error code 11 which is one of three things.

1. Lack of gas supply
2. Faulty Ignitor
3. Faulty Flame Sensor

I wasn't able to go to check prior but my new tenants told me they had already put the gas in their name and that it was on. I relayed to the Jake's plumbing operator while giving the details that even though the renters said the gas was on I wanted the tech to check that first to verify. Even if the gas wasn't on step 1 is to make sure the heater is getting gas because that is what the error code tells you. They sent the tech out for a after hours diagnostic (extra cost but was refunded). The tech called me and told me that the hot water heater had a bad ignitor and a bad flame sensor. He also tried to upsell me on an expensive recurring annual flush service. Just the diagnostic visit and the quote for the very simple repairs of the "faulty" components was more than the cost of buying the exact hot water heater again. Overall if you breakdown the repair into actual time it would take their hourly rate was as high as a lawyers hourly rate. To make matters worse the tech left the cover off the hot water heater so that all the rain an elements could get into the circuit board. I found this out 3-4 days later and quickly screwed the cover back on. I also found out from a text by my tenants that there was a lock on the gas meter and it was in the off position. The gas meter is probably 5 feet to the left of the on-demand hot water heater. I have no idea how the "pro" plumber didn't see the locked out gas meter or how he was able to diagnose 2 "faulty" components without checking step one. I was fortunate the technician was in a hurry because he didn't actually take anything apart (ie: he didn't remove the "faulty" components or touch anything inside the hot water heater). A couple days after this the gas company came out and cut off the lock to turn on the gas. Low and behold the hot water works fine now, and there are no components that need to be replaced. Photos are of the lock on the gas meter and the condition the tech left the water heater in.

They were very professional. I was able to get an appointment the same day. They communicated what was wrong with my hot water heater and the process to fix it. Even explained what is needed to preserve the life of my hot water heater. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of help as they were referred to me by a family member.

Well, I enjoyed their "visit" so much, I asked them back again. This time my great granddaughter threw something in the toilet and stopped it up. Chris and Seth are so nice, they came in, we talked over the situation, and they gave me two quotes as to what might need to be done and stuck to it. Thank goodness, it was the lesser of the two. They even gave me a senior discount and at my age, I am about as senior as they come, well, almost. Thank you, Jake's Plumbing, I know who to call if ever in need and I will definitely refer you to anyone that asks.

I want to start by saying that the plumber that came to my house couldn't have been nicer or more professional if he tried.
Unfortunately, 14 days after the plumber came out and snaked my lines, telling me that everything was clear and draining, my sink, and dishwasher are backing up again. After calling Jake's Plumbing, I was told that there is no warranty on cleaning drain lines out even though it had only been two weeks.
In order to have a plumber from Jake's Plumbing come out, I would have to pay the dispatch fee, the drain cleaning fee, the truck fee, and the equipment fee again. This cost $363.00 just two weeks ago and they expect that I would pay them another $363.00 for the same work just 14 days later. What kind of company doesn't warranty their work for at least a couple of weeks?
That alone sounds shady.
So, just be aware that if you use Jake's Plumbing, you are absolutely on your own after they do their work and you pay them.
They do not warranty or honor the work that they do for drain cleaning. What an easy way for Jake's Plumbing to get $726.00 from a customer in a 2 week span- as the customer, I am basically being held hostage (extorted) for the next $363.00 because their original job wasn't completed correctly and now my sink and dishwasher are backing up.
My suggestion is to not use this plumbing company.
This is really a poor way to handle your business.

We have used Jake’s several times. They have always been timely, knowledgeable, professional and very reasonable costwise. We highly recommend technician, Andrew Rineheart, who was so helpful. We will always request him for our needs.

I’d like to note that none of my issues are with the tech who came out to help. He was actually very helpful. I’m also not one to argue about price at the time of repair as that is my fault for not asking the proper questions.

My issue is with the price of work. 1000 for a battery, drain pan, air filter and oil with labor was crazy high. Like a battery could be 150 and drain pan and oil , air/oil filter another 150-200 if I’m generous. The labor was super high if that’s the case.

At the end of the day I’m upset that I was charged that much for the problem to not be resolved. And now I have to set my plans further back.

But once again, tech was great and courteous. That’s why I give this a 2 star review. And I know he doesn’t control the crazy prices.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Heath and Seth at Jake's Plumbing, as well as Ashley, who did a fantastic job coordinating our scheduled services.

All three were incredibly accommodating and professional. Heath and Seth worked seamlessly as a team, demonstrating extensive knowledge of company policies, materials, and installation processes. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality service were evident throughout the entire job.

I highly recommend Jake's Plumbing and appreciate the outstanding service provided by Heath, Seth, and Ashley!

Plumber did a great job! Didn’t take him long to reinstall the toilet so not to leak at the base. Much appreciated!

Jake’s did an excellent job on a major undertaking. Very professional and on time. The crews worked until the job was complete arriving first thing in the morning and staying until 5 or 6 o’clock for 2 1/2 days. Can’t thank them enough!

Chris with Jake’s Plumbing came to do a video sewer inspection and his results gave my homebuyer peace of mind in making a decision regarding the property! I highly recommend Chris with Jake’s Plumbing! Very thorough, knowledgeable and efficient!

I love Seth. This is his 2nd time to help me with my plumbing. I consider Jake's my plumbers and Seth is who I'll ask them to send out. Thanks for coming (even in the rain).

It’s unfortunate that I’m having to write this review but hopefully this will help at least one person learn a lesson at my expense and not get taken advantage of like I was. I have done business with Jake’s for many years. He would typically give a higher price than others, but would show up, do good work and that work is worth a price so I would happily pay that price. I had them quote a project I was working on. I got the quote, reviewed, and signed it and sent in the 50% deposit to move forward with them. Some time goes by and Jake calls me to inform me that the guy that sent me the estimate no longer works for him and he needed to update the quote as there were some items that should have been quoted differently. I told him I understand and would like to see the revised quote so we can review and discuss. I was emailed the quote and it was almost double the original quoted price. It took a day to get in touch with Jake, but was able to get him on the phone to ask about why it went up so much as it was not what he said when we talked on the phone. His response was “I knew you were going to be upset about it.” Through me asking about this increase he ended the phone call by hanging up on me and wouldn’t answer me calling him back because he was leaving the office, at 3pm. After talking to him, I realized there were some scope changes but also his previous employee misquoted and he wasn’t going to do the project if the scope didn’t change. Remember, we have a singed quote and he has 50% of the original quoted cost. Next day comes around, I told him I wanted a return on my deposit and I will just find someone else. He said he would have “accounting” process and return for what’s left of my deposit. Realizing only one employee of Jake’s has only visited the location once to bid the job. No work whatsoever has been completed by them. So after another day of waiting, the accounting department emailed and informed me that they would be returning my deposit minus their “administrative costs” associated with the project which was over $500. They said because of our “long standing relationship” they split the costs to just over $200. At the end of the day they gave most of my money back but still sad that when they make a mistake and try to correct and hide it without being honest.

Jake’s has been great the few times we’ve used them. They’ve always been quick to get here and their prices have beat other quotes I’ve gotten. They do great work and provide email receipts. Donnie and Seth are great.
