Absolutely nothing bad to say at all with this company. Ira, Ashley, Allen and the entire team were great. Ira the owner is in constant contact with you at all times. Great work, cleaned up afterwards and trust worthy. They insulated my house and Installed a Dehumidifier. I can’t believe the difference it already made. My in laws noticed the immediate change and have already decided to call Sunlight for foam insulation.

I had received multiple quotes and Sunlight was not only the best value, but also the most informative and responsive. Ira was in constant contact with me before the job and sent very detailed information about all of their products. He helped get the insulation installed sooner than originally quoted to conform to my schedule. On the day of installation there was an issue with their van so they were running late - but Ira called as soon as he knew and a sales rep showed up to inform me of the issues and wait for the van to arrive. I was very impressed with their quick response to this issue and dedication to inform me. Once they arrive setup went quickly and my AC went out randomly so they helped me troubleshoot it and found a loose connection in a junction box which they fixed! Both before and after installing the insulation they explained everything and took me into the attic to show me exactly what they were going to do. I appreciated this very much. Now that the insulation is installed my AC is running roughly half as often as it used to. I can finally cool down my new (old) house! A huge thanks to Sunlight and I would recommend to anyone looking to make their house more efficient. A rare experience these days to work with a contractor who is so invested in his client's satisfaction.

Sunlight Contractors did a great job and were very professional. I first spoke with Ira who was very helpful through out the process. Then Corey came out and gave me an estimate for them to remove my existing insulation and to blow new cellulose insulation in my attic.

Chris and Matt were the workers who came and did all the work on my house. They were informative, trustworthy, neat, and extremely hard workers.. I would recommend them to anyone.

I reached out to Sunlight Contractors to have our attic spray foamed as a new home owner. At the time I was very cautious when approaching Sunlight contractors. They were straight forward and detailed with their explanations of the process, effectiveness and the cost. We've been in our home for 3 years now and since adding the spray foam to our attic, the temperature in our home is able to hold between 73 - 75 even during the hottest days of the summer. Before the spray foam there were days where I couldn't get the temperature in our home below 85.
If we ever decide to spray foam our exterior walls, I will most definitely contact Sunlight Contractors. :)

Sunlight Contractors recently installed open-cell spray foam insulation in our attic. We immediately felt the difference in our home. The house is not as drafty and the heater comes on less frequently. The temperature in the attic is only a few degrees different than inside the house. It’s great to be able to store things in the attic again. The workmen were friendly and efficient for both the fiberglass removal and the foam installation. They came on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Sunlight Contractors to my friends.

Excellent company to work with. The crews are very hardworking despite how hot the attic was. They cleaned up after themselves and were in contact with my wife during the whole process. Ira is the boss and he was always in contact with my wife and answered any questions she had. We are very happy with the service we received and how much better our AC units are working now. I called Sunlight Contractors for a price to spray foam the crawl space under my home. they had someone out to crawl under and inspect the crawl space the next day. They measured and took pictures and checked
moisture content of the floors and beam before giving me a price.
They next day an itemized contract was sent via email.
When I decided to use Sunlight Contractors to do the project, they again
sent someone to crawl under the house and make sure everything was
correct, I signed the contract and gave a deposit. Within two hours (to my surprise) they were there to remove the old fiberglass insulation. They cleaned up all the mess and bagged and hauled it all away. The next
day they were back and finished spray foaming. It sure is great doing
business with with someone who does exacting what they promise for a very reasonable price. Everyone I met was very professional and very nice

We used Sunlight Contractor this past June, 2015, to spray foam our attic.
Like most, we shopped around for quotes and ultimately found similar prices. However Sunlight stood out to us through our conversations and the knowledge they portrayed. Ira, in the office, was very kind to answer the many questions that we had. As an individual in the construction industry, my fiance was impressed that he was not just "talk" but truly knew the ins and outs of the roof heat transfer, construction codes, and building envelope design. Not only was Sunlight Contractors professional, but they have passion to get the job done right.
The whole process was very quick and easy. The results have been amazing. While our thermostat settings have not changed, the house now has a constant comfort level that was missing. We are no longer hot waiting for the air unit to kick on. The house is able to maintain our temperature and has allowed us to make the attic a useable storage space that we do not dread going up into. We would definitely recommend Sunlight Contractors.

Ira and everyone at Sunlight Contractors were Fantastic. Needed insulation for my new built Home in Waveland MS. Contacted Sunlight Contractors along with 4 other spray foam contractors. After talking to Ira regarding my needs he convinced me I wanted Spray Foam throughout the house and the underside of the home (Elevated Home). I was running on a tight time schedule and he was able to get the work done on my schedule. The crew was on time and completed the interior of the home in one day. Cam back on Friday and did the underside of the home with in 3 hours. The Crew was very courteous and very knowledgeable of the process. Even ensured the bathroom vents were run to an area that would allow them to vent outside to keep the moisture out of the home. As far as how well the insulation will perform is yet to be seen due to the Mini Split A/C system is not completed yet but I expect it to be fantastic. I would highly recommend Sunlight Contractors for any of your needs.

I researched and interviewed various insulation companies in the NOLA area and ultimately felt most comfortable with Sunlight Contractors. On my request, Ira and Corey provided a lot of information to help me become more knowledgeable about why my house was losing conditioned air. Corey then met with me at my residence and answered all the remaining questions I had. I booked them immediately.

Their crew arrived (and finished) exactly on schedule. I did a mix of spray foam and dense pack cellulose and I couldn't be happier with the installation and overall experience. These guys are highly recommended. I always shop around when it comes to contractors, but with these guys, there's no need to. You're getting the best insulation installation based on your needs and at the best competitive price. By comparison, the other "top-rated" insulation companies offered me worse insulation installations at higher prices. You won't regret doing business with Sunlight Contractors.

The team at Sunlight Contractors is great.
My A/C unit was running all day when it would get hot outside, and I couldn't get my indoor temperature below 75. But before upgrading the unit, I decided to try spray foam in my attic. I got a couple of quotes and read many reviews. Sunlight's quote was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the only other contractor that was comparably reviewed and credentialed. Ira with Sunlight gave me a bunch of information and answered all of my questions.
Everyone with Sunlight was punctual, courteous, and informative. They did everything they said they would do and all seemed happy to do it.
This is the first really hot day since my spray foam was installed. My A/C isn't running nonstop, and my thermostat reads 70.
Spray foam is relatively expensive but so far seems well worth it.

I called on a Wednesday and Mr. Ira called me back immediately. He answered many of my questions over the phone. We set up an appointment for an estimate on the Friday of the same week. Corey, one of his employees, finished up a job early and was able to come out on that Thursday to take all his measurements and answered all the questions that had occurred to me since my conversation with Ira. We received and accepted the quote on the next day. There was a crew at my house the Saturday of the same week to remove the old insulation. The crew that came out was awesome; they were very friendly and cleaned up the house very well. The foam crew came in that following Monday and did great job. They were prompt courteous and also cleaned up well. It's been 2 weeks now of 90° + temperatures and the 20 year old AC unit in the house isn't struggling to keep up anymore. We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Ira and his crew of professional and hardworking individuals. This company delivers exceptional professional service fueled by deep expertise. If you are thinking about getting spray foam done, stop thinking and do it. I recommended Sunlight to a couple friends and family and they're calling to have the work done.

I contacted Sunlight Contractors to foam insulate an investment property that I am renovating. Ira & his crew are all very professional, courteous & polite. Their workmanship, service product & communication skills are all excellent. They showed up on time & cleaned up afterward. Renovating an entire home it's a major project, and Sunlight made this part of my project worry-free. Their work was done properly & without delay so I could move on to the next phase of the project. My renovation is now moving forward due to Sunlight's assistance. It's good to know that there are businesses out there that take pride in their work & are dependable & responsible like Sunlight. They value & place a high priority on customer satisfaction. I will not hesitate to contact them again for my next renovation project. I have no regrets at all, they're an A++++++ company!

Our experience with Sunlight was excellent. I communicated directly with the company owner Ira on the evaluation of our home's needs, questions regarding the services outlined and anything that came up during the process. Everyone was professional on the crew, cleaned up daily and the work was performed as outlined. Ira communicated proactively regarding the status of our project including sending along pictures and videos of each stage which was important given that it was not easily visible (under the house) and he visited the site often. It was very important to Ira and his crew that we were 100% satisfied prior to the end of the job. We would highly recommend Sunlight.

We have been putting off getting spray foam insulation for a while now, but with this heatwave decided to just bite the bullet and do it. Sunlight just started on our house today, and I am already impressed. The contractors are very friendly and thorough and cover EVERYTHING, which I appreciate as a home owner. Ira made sure to call me this afternoon and give me a timeline of what to expect and really made me feel confident in the work that is in the process of being performed. Tomorrow is when the actual insulation goes in as today they had to tear out my old stuff and open part of the ceiling that is inaccessible via the attic, but based on what I have seen today, I have high hopes for the rest of the process. I plan to update this review once the job is complete and after my conversation with Ira today I am so excited to see how much cooler my house will be once this is completed. I will definitely be contacting them for other house improvement needs in the future as well.

Update: the insulation is complete and now my house is so comfortable! If you're putting this off, definitely do it!

There should be more stars to give!
We had our brick ranch on slab lifted ten feet off the ground. The floors sweated, were cold or hot depending on the season. Walking inside sounded hollow. Forward one year Sunlight Contractors came and applied closed foam insulation.They showed up en mass and very orderly and methodically prepared the area and got right down to business. Before the crew had finished cleaning and packing up we could already notice a difference. Walking around inside sounded more solid, the air conditioning units were running less. The crew picked up leaving no trace they'd been here.
It's now been installed for a month. Our electric bill is down 15% compared to last May. Our house is much more comfortable, no sweating oak wood floors. And it stays much much cooler (Thank God).
Cannot think of many times the wife and I felt such a good return of investment than getting this done. Y'all did a superb job.Thanks so much!

After Hurricane Ida, my husband and I experienced damage far more significant than we expected. With the impending tropical storm and continuous rains after our ceiling caved in, we were looking for someone who was able to do a thorough job quickly and who was able to answer our questions as we navigated putting in our first brand new roof. In two days, they were able to remove the old roof, place the new roof, and offer security to our family during a really difficult time. Ira is incredibly responsive to the phone calls, always answering or calling back quickly and answering our many questions, taking time to walk us through the process and ensure the job is done right. I feel safe and confident knowing I can weather the rest of this hurricane season and many more to come with our new, beautiful roof!

Sunlight Contractors did an amazing job with the spray insulation installation at our home in Destrehan. Their team was knowledgeable and efficient and I really appreciated their attention to detail. Today is our first full day after the foam was applied and my upstairs is cool and comfortable. Money well spent.

I recently completed closed-foam insulation of my extensive attic space at my home in Houma, LA. There was damage from Hurricane Ida. Ira’s crew competently, efficiently and cost-effectively completed the job and even identified/repaired other storm-related issues.

His crew was polite and clean. As the business owner, Ira was not a distant entity through this process; in fact, he was there more than I was at the house! Kudos to a job well done.

They were so great at helping us get our home back together and even making sure that our foundation was stronger than before. After 6 years, our new insulation has held up and helps keep the temps steady inside of our home and our foundation feels stronger than ever.
