We needed to move our generator from Central City to Algiers end of July/early August and the company that originally installed it wouldn't of been able to come out to give a quote for the move until August 15. Jacob from Wiring Resource was able to give me a quote the next day and was able to get it moved from our old house to our new house within a week of moving in. His team was able to do it sooner, but we needed to wait to close first. I am so happy I found Wiring Resource, Jacob is extremely professional and responsive and goes into great detail of what he's doing and why he's doing it. He didn't do anything without running it by us first that was outside of the estimate so there were no surprises cost wise. He also needed to cut one of our gutters for the generator and had his team come back to fix it and is covering the cost. Jacob was also able to recommend a company that could hook up the gas for the generator and they were also great and efficient. Highly recommend Wiring Resource and will be hiring them in the future for any other electrical needs.

Jacob and his team worked hard to rewire two rooms of my 200 year old house. They set a price and committed to it with no mystery charges. It’s refreshing to have a contractor give you a price and stick to it in New Orleans. Highly recommend Wiring Resource.

Jacob’s customer service and explanation as always is top notch. I’ve contacted him on 2-3 previous occasions for inquiries or service. From first point of contact to service Jacob was able to quickly fit me in within 48hours. His technician Trae provided quality service and explanation throughout my appointment. He listened to my concerns, quickly isolated and remedied my issue. Allowing my household to return to normal with minimal disruption.

Here is my experience and for you to decide...
Jacob asked me to txt him photos and measurements of the job, which was to replace a chandelier in our very tall stairwell 22'. I sent him the pics and info and he txt me back with a $350 quote (before he even came out to look at the job). I said great and then a week or so later he came out to the house to do the job. Jacob and his partner looked and looked for a way to do it, but said they could not do it that day because they needed the right equipment for the job and it would now cost me $500. Again I said ok lets do it, then they came back a week or so later and still could not do it. Now Jacob says to me he will do it if I provide the scaffolding! But... he will not refund me the $85 for the estimate. I agreed TWICE to his prices and to do the work and he, not me, failed to deliver the service. Doesn't seem right to me...
He and his partner were super nice guys. They could have said because we can't do the job we will refund you the $85 and MAYBE I would have said no keep it and thanks for trying...

The project we had Wiring Resource do was setting up a conference room for projector/TV/surround sound/new outlets & ports/electrical and then the most crucial thing was making sure everything talked to each other. I think Jacob and his team were professional from quote to finish. I was very impressed. They were ready at a moment's notice, started early and worked into the late night getting everything completed in one day, and cleaned behind themselves like they were never even there. When I had questions about equipment Jacob went above and beyond and called the manufacturer and stayed on the phone to troubleshoot the issues, which extend well beyond the original scope of work. However, it is the reason I will continue to use his company for future projects and recommend them to other businesses. It's very rare I write reviews but I do believe on giving credit where credit is due. It's honestly refreshing to see someone of this generation (also my generation) do what's necessary to complete a job without excuses or pushbacks on lack of material, capability, etc. I could not be more satisfied.

Great team of professionals and fairly priced! We needed pretty extensive electrical updating in our very old home. Jacob was extremely quick to respond and give a quote. The quote was very close to what we ended up paying and any unforeseen changes were communicated clearly, so I never felt surprised by the invoice. Highly recommend!

Absolutely BEYOND impressed with Jacob and Wiring Resource! He came out to our clinic to look at our doorbell/buzzer that hadn't worked for weeks and literally fixed the problem in under 10 minutes. He also came directly to us right after I called - he was probably here in under 20 minutes. So professional, so kind, & SO knowledgeable!!! Cannot recommend enough!!

I hired Wiring Resource LLC on June 7 2021 to have all knob and tube replaced in my 1400 sq ft unit. Jacob came through and did a video walk though documenting everything and seemed very professional. I needed the work to be completed by July 1 2021 as I had tenants moving into the unit which was clearly communicated and understood by Wiring Resource. The team came in and opened multiple crooked holes in my walls (more than necessary to run wires), cut two structural joists in my attic (without my approval or awareness), made a complete mess of the place, and left tools and items throughout the place without proper cleaning after every work day. They did not complete the work on time by my deadline of July 1 2021, and I had to put my tenants in temporary housing. They did not complete the job per the written contract as I wanted a city inspector to come through for approval. The last communication I had with Wiring Resource was them asking for additional payments as to which I responded that I will not remit any payment until the inspector comes through and approves the work. I also provided an itemized list to Wiring Resource of all the additional expenses I had to incur including sheetrock repair, cleaning, temporary tenant housing, and other ad-hoc expenses.

I would not recommend Wiring Resource as they did very low quality installation, missed deadlines, incomplete work, and lack of responsibility. I have had to hire an additional eletrician to complete the job.

Everyone I interacted with at the company was great, and the quality of work was great. There was an opportunity to cut through an unfinished wall that would have resulted in no need to patch and paint a wall after the job, and I think the only thing that would make this service perfect is to have looked for ways to make things like that happen. Would totally hire again.

Jacob is a godsend. My breaker saved my house from a fire because there was an improperly wired outdoor shutoff. He came out within a few hours and fixed everything. Now my house has hot water again. The price was not bad at all and there is a lot of text/email correspondence along with videos for proper documentation.

Needed emergency assistance with disconnecting a generator. Jacob and has crew arrived quickly, worked efficiently and all at a very responsible price! Great communication from start to finish, we would highly recommend to anyone!
