I highly recommend Pelican Electric. They ran power for my electric fence, digging trenches in the heat of the summer and being mindful to make sure my lawn was safe and restored to its original state after they were finished. Rae was very responsive to all my questions and the team worked quickly and efficiently. I trust their quality of work and will keep their number handy for any future projects.

Pelican updated my 1918, craftsman style ,home, with knob and tube wiring and made it code compliant in 2021. They were efficient, knowledgable, and trustworthy electrical contractors. Very easy to work with and offered professional quality advice and offered significant savings in the final billing from the original estimate. They are a hard working and productive crew. They understand the value of their time to their clients and to themselves. Given their work ethic, they offer you a peace of mind to know they will do the work correctly the first time. In short with them on your project - you are in good hands without exception. Will retain them again and recommend them for small and large residential projects.

After staring a whole home renovation, I encountered many problems with other electricians. At my wit's end I reached out to Pelican. Honestly they were my last hope before I went to YouTube. I spoke with Rae and explained what I need done. She was beyond nice on the phone. Charlie came out the same day and gave me a quote. The next day Gene and Guy showed up to my home, completed the entire job in one day and completed cleaned up after themselves. And you pay them after the work is completed. No we need half before we begin. If you are in need of an electrician, I highly recommend Pelican Electrical.

We had the best experience with Pelican Electric. They did a whole house re-wire, and it was the most painless process of our whole reno. They went above and beyond our best expectations: problem solving and fishing wires to keep damage to our walls to an absolute minimum (they cut about 20% of the holes estimated by other companies, saving us thousands in plaster repair)AND finished the project two days earlier than scheduled, bringing our bill down even lower. The electricians Pelican employs are considerate, professional, and extremely knowledgable. Rae and Charlie were accommodating and kind. We can't suggest Pelican enough.

Pelican Electric assisted us with residential electrical installations when we remodeled our large French Quarter home. The quality of their work is among the finest of any electrical contractor we have ever used. They provided repair services to existing circuits as well as new installations. They upgraded existing panels and added electrical circuits to newly remodeled rooms. They were competitive with all other service providers and their work was exemplary. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of residential repairs or new service to added or remodeled spaces. Excellent electrical contractors.

We used Pelican for some electrical work in our new home. They were absolutely fantastic! Their quote came in well under the competition, they completed the work faster than they originally estimated, AND the final bill was even less than they had quoted us. They even went above when we had a flat tire and one of the electricians used his AAA subscription to get our tire fixed. They are one of the best vendors I've ever used. I would very highly recommend them and would give them a 6th star if I could!

Pelican Electric is the best contractor I have worked with, that is looking back at both Commercially (when I ran a business) and residential. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Every single person I worked with in their company was a pleasure to work with and was absolutely professional. I would recommend them to my best friend. Both big and small jobs were done perfectly. I wish other contractors were like them.

Pelican Electric does it all. Fast easy and effective team. Very professional. They can handle all your electrical needs. Guys were very nice and quick. Pelican Electrical is amazing. The home we bought needed a FULL RE-WIRE to replace the old knob and tube with the most up-to-date wiring.
Working with Pelican Electrical was one of the best choices we made and we will most certainly recommend them to friends and family and we will also use them again for any future work we would like done. Rae was always available for us to talk the project through. Charlie was amazing and let us know exactly what the job would entail and how it would be done. Justin and Kyle did the entire home and even included us in all the decisions they were making. The guys are pros and never even had to cut a hole in our plaster walls! Those are the immediate qualities that come to mind when I reflect on my personal/professional experience with Pelican Electric.
As a victim of Hurricane Ida, my entire house/home office was destroyed. Throughout this extremely devastating/painful process, there was a silver lining & it was Pelican Electric. As we all know, natural disasters tend to bring out the worst in people (fraudulent contractors who take advantage of people at their lowest times in life).
Fortunately, Pelican Electric was not one of them….instead, Pelican Electric came as a referral from a friend. Not sure what to expect since this was all new to me, I put my trust & faith in Pelican Electric to get my large job done.
Pelican Electric exceeded my expectations from the very first day we met to discuss the job until the last day of completion. Having to deal with insurance companies, permits, & multiple revisions on my part, Pelican Electric handled all of it with utmost professionalism.
The job included testing all existing wiring, replacing all damaged wires & outlets, replacing all damaged lighting/fixtures & adding additional lighting inside & out where requested……all while ensuring everything was up to code.
Pelican Electric was very flexible working around several other contractors while remaining on a time schedule.
I am never one to write reviews, but always quick to read them when searching for quality craftsmanship, so I deemed it necessary to share such an outstanding experience with Pelican Electric.

My project consisted of adding recessed lighting to a few rooms in my home, updating switches/outlets and adding outdoor lighting fixtures. I initially called Pelican Electrical based on their impressive projects/portfolio reflected on their website. From the initial stages of the project, Rae Sanders (President), Charlie (General Manager) took their time with me to understand my goals for the project, provide guidance on the recessed lighting design/layout and explained every step of the process to me.
