Very bad people who would try to take your money and do quick and poor job if they could. As the other comment said, they took picture in good angels and sent me, when I checked, a big corner of the yard wasn’t finished. They are constantly lying and would not keep their words if they have chance. Sod growing was ugly and unprofessional, not even cheap either. Steve would try to talk sweet in the beginning but you never know when he will turn to you. It’s sad that they use Jesus name to trick people.

Lawn care that works. Steve and his crew are very professional and reliable. This company has been servicing my properties for over 2 years, have never had a more reliable lawn care servicer. This one comes highly recommended.

Jesus Cares did a great job. He was so courteous and professional. I called him on his off day and he came out and cut my lawn. He was fast and good. Job well done. He is my new lawn guy. Welcome.

I called 5 or six lawn companies and one person responded but didn't hear back from majority of them, but Steven called me back and took action by communicating with me about what he could do with cutting some branches off the roof of my elderly Great Aunts roof before those branches caused any damage to her roof from a bad storm or they just break off and fall threw her roof. We are so pleased with the work he has done and we will be using his Lawn Care business in future projects we plan to do. Jesus really does Saves. Thank you Steven. Steven provides an absolutely sensational service. Within 24 hours of me calling him, Steven was able to do bulk removal, lawn treatment, grass installation, and straighten the fence. I’m in shock of how fast and amazing he’s been throughout this process. You can’t go wrong with him and his team.

My husband and I have been using Mr. Steven services for 2 years this month! No matter what time of the day/ night I text him, he responds immediately “I can do it right now or I’ll catch you in the morning”. So professional, Godly man and all around great lawn care service. He even leaves me extra mulch when he has some. What a great assets to the Gentilly/ New Orleans East area. Congratulations on 10 wonderful years of hard service. Wishing you man more to come!

Im writing this review to prevent others from dealing with this unethical business owner.

Stephen had been coming to my house multiple times over the last year to address the overgrown weeds and to cut the 10sq foot patch of grass in my front yard. VERY small. He had always charged $75 for each visit. Now this last time, things were different. First of all- he said he'd come Friday. Never shows up. Then I get a call early Saturday saying he came back for maintenance and it was now $150. When I asked why the price went up, he said it was because he removed the wood from the backyard. I had ZERO wood in the back yard and was immediately concerned. His response a text saying, "pick up your phone next time." Are you serious?? He was a whole day late so I, obviously was not expecting him on this Saturday morning!!!! Also if someone doesn’t pick up the phone- why are you making a decision on behalf of them to complete work that isn’t requested? I called my tenant and she said she had seen someone in the neighbor's yard. So I messaged him asking why on earth they would be in the neighbors yard taking wood from their collapsed shed. He denied it multiple times saying that I sounded crazy and asking why he would do that. I DONT KNOW DUDE, you tell me???????!!! He became irate and started to repeatedly call and message me, demanding $100. I told him I would pay him $75 because I never agreed to any wood removal nor did I even HAVE any wood. I did not ask him to this!!!!! I made the mistake of picking up the phone at first and he responded with "you know, we try to help people and this is what we get..." ‍ ‍‍‍

Completely floored by this comment, I ask him, this is what you think helping people is? Doing work they never requested you to do and then CHARGING for it? On top of it not even being on my property or my wood????? This a completely unethical business practice and I'm lucky my neighbors did not take it any further. I had to hang up and then he repeatedly called me / messaged me calling me things like “childish” until I blocked him. I would NOT recommend any services from this man, Stephen Lecompte. Please see YELP where I posted the photos of his unprofessional behavior texting /calling.

Hands down the BEST lawn care service in NOLA and the most cost effective! I contacted this business and the very next day the job was completed. I am beyond satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend this service. Honest, punctual, skilled, and friendly. I had contacted other lawn care services and their prices were astronomically high. Why would anyone use any other service than Jesus saves Lawn Care!! Simply the BEST!

I’m extremely happy with choosing Jesus Saves Lawn Care. Steven is awesome! He responds very quickly to requests, is very detailed in asking what you want, and sends pictures when the job is complete. He completed my lawn within 30 minutes - including edging and blowing!!!! Steven will take care of your lawn service needs - give him a call.

Do not do business with this company. I hired this company to handle the lawn care for my father’s home after he passed away and they barely did their job. The main times they decided to go out and do what they were supposed to do was after I had to call and text to remind them if what they were paid to do. I do not stay in New Orleans so I feel as though they took advantage of me because I was not local. I would bot recommend this company to anyone because they do not hold their word.

Be careful! They don’t keep their words. My husband and me have a lot need to be cut. First time we called Steve, he was very friendly and came to estimate very fast. He gave us a price $400 to cut first time and $40 per month in future to maintain. $400 is expensive for first time cut. But since $40 per month is good deal, we agreed. Steve spent half day cut the first time and we paid him $400. But after that, he never showed up to 3 months. We called him and text him many times. Finally one day he picked up phone and agreed to come back cut. But he disagreed the $40 price which he offered from beginning. We trust people generally, so we did not sign contract with him. We believed Steve’s oral agreement. After hours arguing, Steve agreed to cut that day for $80 and in future will be $40. Then he cut the grass and we paid $80. After that, one month later, Steve refused to come back to cut grass. Now I think what they want is just the $400 over priced first time cut. They used a long time promise to trick customers to pay over price the first time and then they ran away. I don’t understand how could their google rating would be so high. I hope other people would be more careful when dealing with them. Such a shame to use Jesus name and be not honest.

I recently had a bad experience with Jesus Saves Lawn Care LLC and their employee, Steven Lecomp. I hired them to take care of my lawn, but I encountered several problems that left me unsatisfied.

One of the issues was Steven's behavior. He asked personal questions that made my mom uncomfortable. This was unprofessional and didn't meet the company's standards.

On Thursday, 6/13/2024, I asked for their service to take care of my backyard, but Steven didn't show up as promised. I had to do the job myself, which was frustrating. They didn't fulfill their commitment and were not punctual.

To fix the situation, I contacted the company again and asked for some extra work, like trimming a tree bush. They charged me $60 for it, but I felt that the price was too high for the work they did. I expected their expertise to justify the cost, but I was disappointed.

Overall, my experience with Jesus Saves Lawn Care LLC and Steven Lecomp was not good. The invasive questions, failure to show up on time, and the high charges left me with a negative impression. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend their lawn care service.

Literally the best lawn guy out there. Called him last minute came out so quickly. Didn’t try to rip me off. Fair prices. Great business 👍👍👍

I can’t say enough good things about Jesus Saves Lawn Care and Steven LeCompte! He truly went above and beyond for us. We had a race scheduled for that morning, and our lot was in desperate need of a cut. With very little time to spare, Steven stepped in and promised he would get it done— and he kept his word!

Steven showed up at 6 a.m. sharp to make sure the lot was looking pristine before the race began. Not only did he deliver excellent results, but he did so with such kindness and professionalism. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to their work, and it’s clear that Steven takes pride in making his clients happy.

If you need lawn care that’s dependable, punctual, and done with heart, I highly recommend Jesus Saves Lawn Care. Steven truly came to our rescue, and we’ll definitely be calling him again in the future! You won’t regret choosing him for your lawn care needs!
