Benton tree service quickly and efficiently diagnosed the situation, made a plan to address it, and carried out that plan for a reasonable price. The team was efficient, courteous, and did a great job.

I own Mighty Haul Dumpster Service in New Orleans and work with a lot of tree guys. All of them are really good, but I’m telling you, Benton Tree Service is easily the best I’ve ever dealt with.

I used them at my own house in Harahan, and I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous. Watching people climb high up in a tree on your property makes you think twice. But I checked them out ahead of time, they were fully insured, great reputation, everything in order. That put me at ease.

Tim was on the job himself, and the whole crew showed up prepared, bucket trucks, safety vests, real equipment. They trimmed the tree, ground the stump, and when they were done, the yard was absolutely spotless. Not a single twig left behind.

Safety was a priority, and the job was clean, fast, and professional from start to finish. These guys don’t play around, they know what they’re doing.

Next time I need tree work, there’s no question, I’m calling Benton Tree Service again.

Tim Benton was very knowledgeable about live oaks and trees in general. He gave me helpful ideas about ways to protect my trees from injury. Thanks to Tim my young oak should grow into a lovely addition to the large New Orleans live oak family.

Tim and his crew were lifesavers when Helene hit here in Western North Carolina. When our road was washed out, which limited access to our house for any heavy equipment, Tim and his crew did some amazing work with ropes, chains, pulleys and physics to safely get a massive oak off our house (they did the same for our neighbors!). They were even able to relocate my kids’ treehouse that was downed in the storm to another area of the yard and put it up stronger than ever! Of course, they also removed several other trees, did stump grinding, etc. and at prices that were extremely fair! Highly recommend!

We received a like oak from them. I was in awe with the passion that the tree was transplanted. I learned why taking some soil from a healthy oak tree nearby will help the new tree grow. Tim Benson could even identify an oak my father planted 25 years ago by the bark which answered some questions we always have. Can't recommend them enough.

I have used Benton Tree Service three times, once in cutting back live oak branches scraping my roof after Hurricane Ida, in trimming back sycamore branches away from my power lines and lastly removing a huge fallen branch, lodged in a tree, that was threatening parked cars underneath it. In every situation I've found them prompt, professional and affordable, with a attention to thoroughness and safety. I wouldn't hire anyone else!

Tim came by the day after I called him and set up his crew for the following week… They were amazing, respectful & safe. They took out a huge tree from my backyard so carefully and cleaned up incredibly well after themselves… What could've been a traumatizing experience for me, was actually pleasant and I couldn't be happier with the results. Benton staff came by and took down a palm tree in our backyard, they did it quickly and efficiently, and then came back and removed the stump. Just in two days. They did a great job!

Tim Benton and Benton Tree Service took a very difficult tree removal near 2 houses and near power lines and brought it safely to the ground. The tree of 80 plus years was near the end of its life with a rotten inside. I was worried about it with Hurricane Season. His service was dependable and if he said something, he did it. Any information i asked for, he provided it quickly and truthfully. I will use him again for my tree servicing needs in an around the New Orleans metro area. Definitely going to recommend him further.

Tim and his team are the best. We had a very difficult tree needing to be removed due to the placement on a fence line. The job required needed multiple owner/yard access and they were able to make the removal happen seamlessly. Not on complaint from anyone, the job was executed perfectly, and you would never even know the tree was there...including a partial fence replacement after removal. The team was communicative, helpful and kind. I will absolutely be using Benton for any future needs and I will be recommending them to anyone I know.

When a huge limb split from the live oak in my backyard and landed on my roof, these guys were able to show up in no time flat, remove the limb and charge a fair price. They later came back, cleaned up the rest of the tree and gave me advice about what to do with the remaining tree to keep my house safe. The limb removal was not easy. They really had to avoid some structures and get in some tight spots, but they did a great job and gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend.

I had 5 trees and stumps that needed to be removed. I contacted Tim Benton to come look at what needed to be done. He personally came out, assessed the issues, and within the next few days, fulfilled my requests and at an extremely fair price. He even made recommendations for replacement of the trees that had died. This is the second time I've reached out to Benton and although I hope not to lose any more trees or shrubs, but these guys are the best and will be calling them again, if needed!! George Demmas

Tim Benton and his experienced staff at Benton Tree Service are 5 stars and beyond. They recently did some major work on my two 75 year old live oaks, and also prettied up our 5 palm trees. They worked really hard from early morning until the very end of day, and did so with quiet stealth. They were all respectful, showed up on time, worked hard, chipped all branches, loaded into a truck, swept and cleaned up and left without a trace that they'd been. Other than beautiful and well manicured trees! I would never use anyone else. Their depth of knowledge on these important trees is second to none, and their professionalism is beyond compare. Price for a team of 4, two trucks and a lift, was very reasonable. Licensed and insured. Don't mess around, hire the best.

I have had trees, bushes and tree stumps removed and tree stump and roots grinding. Would high recommend their services.

Benton Tree Setvice did a great job for me. Quickly showed up to take a look, and they were kind enough to chat w my neighbor and get the okay on some branches hanging over that were not mine, fast to send invoice and got me on the schedule quickly too.
