Horrible service. Arrived late. Was very slow. Damaged a lot of my things. Started out with two guys and later a third came. The "boss" then proceeded to sit in the truck the rest of the time. The workers were more concerned about talking on the phone than working. They don't tell you that if you want their insurance you have to pay an extra 250.00. They also don't tell you that there is an added 10% for paying by card.

I wouldn't pay them to rearrange my closet, much less move me again. Seven hours to move a two bedroom 11 miles. Five hours to load and two to unload. If it can be unloaded in that time then it can be loaded in that time.

Stay away from this "moving service."

Dickens' Services was absolutely great moving me from Austin Texas to Western Montana...I would recommend anyone to Dicken's Services

Worse services EVER!!! Wish I could put no stars!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Arrived with a little boy to help move! Trash all on the back of the truck! Doing the move, Brent was walking really slow and taking 10 mins or more just to put things on the truck and come back in the house. He was only grabbing one thing at a time. And to make matters worse, he started talking on the phone in the middle of us moving not once but twice! When I verbalized my disappointments to him, he asked me to pay him as if he was just going to stop the moving process and just leave. Needless to say he took all my furniture off the truck, left it in the grass and only paid his helper $8. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I wish I could give this so called company a zero. There was only the owner and another worker who came to move me. The owner stayed on his mobile phone half the time and had his worker doing everything. They started at 10 a.m. and finished at 1 a.m. in the morning. They scratched all of my property all of it that I worked hard for and paid good money for. The owner did not acknowledge any of the damages. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere when looking for movers. None of my things were wrapped. Professional movers know what to do and how to do it this company is not professional.

Dickens Moving was and is unprofessional ... I had to confirm my appointment ... He was hours late ... Kept giving me the run around ... Showed up with a very young boy whom he kept fussing at the whole while ... Damaged my furniture and wont come back to fix it and lied about coming back ... So unprofessional!!! ... Going to contact BBB for this ... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!! ... Took my furniture apart and put it together wrong ...

Brent did a great job helping me pack up my home in La and moving me to San Antonio. He was courteous, professional, and explained everything to me in detail. I would use him again and recommend him to all!!! Thank you!

I am very pleased with lawn and cleaning service provided. I needed the entire home cleaned for a new listing with a quick turn around. Dickens' Services was able to book the job for the next day. The home was cleaned thoroughly and for a great price. The company also provided tree trimming service on another property that was heavily treed. Pricing for the job was fair, service was great, and the job was completed in less than 2 hours.

The owner of Dicken’s Services Brent is extremely professional and friendly. It was him and one of his employees that packed and moved me from an apartment into a house. Back in 2019, was my first time contacting him for a move, his professionalism, care of items and friendliness was impressive. He’s a Jack of all trades ! This was the worst commercial move in history! I watched him move my friend from one building to the next. He was VERY VERY unprofessional, RUDE to the customer, and his staff! I would not recommend him not one bit. Super lazy and will run the time to get over. Un-assembled her things and after billing for TEN hours did not put them together. I witnessed him calling the customer things raggedy which was the most disgusting thing ever! I’m tell you now, please find someone to move you and treat you with respect. This business really needs to be shut down. Also, don’t fooled. He doesn’t have a team and pays inexperienced people to show. However the workers were more generous than he was! Not to mention, he was a day late showing up!!! I wish I could give him a million NEGATIVE stars! Please review the other comments and don’t take them lightly. They are true!!

Compared to others, these guys are great. I’ve dealt with a few movers here in Shreveport, these guys were the cheapest. In fact, they charged me half of moving out of a storage than the group who put it in there. They are up front with the charges, no surprise amount later and came on time. Will use again.
