I have used Penobscot Cleaning 3 times in 2 years. They have been on time, very pleasant and provided a thorough cleaning of my furniture and carpets.

Very impressed with this company and the response to our needs. Brandy in the front office and Jason who came to explain what we needed done and give us an estimate where we’re both were very courteous, informative and helpful. We had an immediate response to our need and a plan in place less than 24 hours of our original call and services arranged in less than 48 hours. I highly recommend this company and cannot thank them enough for their immediate attention to our needs.

The team was helpful from start to finish! They scheduled my appointment quickly, came out to Castine to evaluate the scope, provided a comprehensive estimate, and best of all, did the work promptly and thoroughly. They were friendly and knowledgeable about mold and its destructive nature, and helped me troubleshoot to find explanations and solutions to prevent it from coming back. They also came back a second time to fully address all rhe work that needed to be done. Well done !

We had a puff back incident in our home and it caused us a host of problems because we really wanted to protect our infant from the soot. We were recommended to contact Penobscot Cleaning Services and they were there to make an assessment the next day. Their documentation was pivotal in filing the insurance claim because we weren't even thinking about it at the time of the incident. The cleaners were kind, courteous, and through in their efforts. We were also able to decide what we wanted to do for cleaning before and during the day of cleaning. I would hope that we will never need to hire them again under such circumstances but was very glad that they could help us sort out the incident, especially on such short notice!

We hired Penobscot Cleaning services to steam our carpets and chairs at Vision Care of Maine. Jason was great! Once called, he was there next day and the day after the job was done perfectly! A real person answered when I called…so nice! When do we get that service these days?? Everyone that I dealt with was professional and friendly! Penobscot Cleaning and Jeremiah did a fantastic job! We wanted to make sure the carpets were clean and sanitized knowing a baby was on the way. We had a Great Experience with Penobscot Cleaning. The cleanup involved removing cigarette smell and residue from several rooms in the house. They cleaned the walls, HVAC system and carpets. We have noticed a marked improvement following completion. We always knew we would need to repaint following the cleanup and Penobscot left us in great shape to now apply paint to clean surfaces. We are very pleased with the services they provided and the professional manner in which they provided them.

Since Green Thumb came on board, we no longer have seen tics on our person every time we garden. Previously, during the summer, we could not go outside without full mosquito netting- now, we only very occasionally see a few mosquitos whic is a far cry from what it used to be. They also "put out the fire" of the fire ants. Green Thumb is very professional to deal with. They always answer your queries be it by phone or email. They do a wonderful job.

For the last 7 years I have done my own weed and feed with results that were lack luster. This year the grubs got me and my lawn was in shambles. Un-named grub killers purchased at the local hardware store couldn't touch the damage that was done. I was at the home show this spring and talked to Jeremy about my yard. They quoted me for the seasons work which included grub control and a 5 step weed and seed program. The price was MORE than reasonable and the results were MORE than expected from the first season using them. At my request, they always call before showing up, which is AWESOME. It seems like no matter who I talk to they are kind, courteous and VERY knowledgeable!! You guys can count on coming back for many seasons to come, its been a pleasure bragging about my beautiful lawn. Its all your fault, and I'm proud to say it!!! We signed up with Green Thumb years ago and it shows. Our lawn looks excellent as long as we have good rainfall. The technicians are very fussy and make sure all the details are checked off. Excellent company to deal with. John and Sharon Dow.
