Matthew provided some great TLC for our trees. One of our very tall pine trees was struck by lightening last year, and amazingly, it survived. But a large portion of central branches was killed. Matthew came in and removed the dead portion for us, so that it wouldn't have a chance to break off and fall on the house. He also cleared some oak tree branches from the roof. He did a great job and we would definitely recommend his services for anyone that has any tree problems.
There is a difference between hiring a guy with a chainsaw and a truck, ad opposed to an arborist whose job is to understand trees, which are living creatures. Matt is a wonderful and honest person, and his work is affordable. We have a beautiful oak in the front yard which was deemed "dying" by the aforementioned tree guy with a truck, but Matt said the tree was just fine. He took the time to examine the trees and put a plan together, and it was all done quickly, with awesome communication. I'd highly recommend Matt's service. If you needed a heart transplant, you'd go to a cardiac surgeon, you wouldn't let a primary doctor operate on you. Well, trees are the same; whether it's trimming, or removal, you'd want someone who knows who to care for your trees so that they're healthy, which means they will have strong roots, protect the soil from erosion, and not topple over in a hurricane.
Matt has been our go to tree expert since 2004. After moving from Tampa to Safety Harbor, we wanted to ensure we professionally maintained the magestic beauty of the huge oak we fell in love with when purchasing our home. We called the City of Safety Harbor looking for recommendations, and Matt was one of the few Certified Arborists they provided us. After interviewing a couple, we knew Matt was the one. In addition to our beloved oak, Matt meticulously maintains all of our trees, palms, and crepe myrtles, which have all outgrown our ability to manage since moving in. His passion for trees is only surpassed by his passion for his clients.
Incredible experience with this company! We had several estimates for some trimming we needed done to our very large, very old Live Oak tree. Matt, the owner, and also a Certified Arborist, came out and gave us some great advice on what the tree needed. We felt very confident in his knowledge of actual tree care, so we hired his company, and we are very pleased with the work they did on our tree. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We will hire them again and refer them to all of our friends!
