Robert and his team did a fantastic job installing a beautiful patio/fire pit area and re-grading much of our backyard. From our initial meeting and throughout the entire project, Robert was great to work with. We appreciate his ability to listen, offer suggestions, and his overall attention to detail. When we purchased our home, it came with a deck that was falling down and a tired backyard that had no appeal. We had a plan in our minds of what we wanted our outdoor space to look and feel like and we spent about a year looking for a company that both understood that vision and had the ability to take it on. We found that company in RD Outdoor. From the first time we met Robert and his team, we knew we made the right choice. Throughout the design and construction process, they worked with us and presented suggestions that made the project so much better than we originally expected. What was originally conceived to be a single level patio with a fire pit, turned into a terraced patio space with three step down elevations that lead to an incredible circular fire pit area that is surrounded by giant reclaimed granite blocks. In addition, they also installed three beautiful sets of granite stairs. Robert and his team have the skill and resources that are necessary to complete such an extensive project. They are polite and very professional and made the entire process extremely enjoyable. Thank you RD Outdoor for transforming our back yard into an incredible area that we will use year-round!
Been set up on Wentworth rd all day with an unsafe work zone without a flagger. Vehicles and equipment on both sides of the road forcing vehicles to play chicken with each other as there's no clear line of sight. Do not hire these people *Behavior was changed after complaint. We had RD Outdoor gravel our 600 foot dirt driveway. Brendan came to the property, talked through the project, and took thorough measurements. His team scraped the area, shaped it, laid the gravel, and tamped it down. It looks amazing and is exactly what we needed. 10/10, would recommend.
Robert and his team just completed the removal of a failing retaining wall and the replacement with precast Boulder blocks. The site was extremely difficult as it was very close to a building, on a very steep slope and very near to Great East lake. They completed the project ahead of time and with no impact on the lake. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend them. Robert even obtained all the necessary local and State permitts. Thanks again to RD Outdoors
Our waterfront rock retaining wall on Milton Three Ponds .was slowly falling apart and after receiving estimates from five contractors, we selected RD Outdoor to replace the wall. Communication with Robert Thyng of RD Outdoor was instantaneous from the site review and estimate process thru the sites finishing touches. Robert listened to our design expectations and provided valuable input based on his experience. He listened to any questions and concerns that we had and explained what to expect every step of the way. Robert and his crew were there when they said they would be there, working thru cold and challenging weather conditions and fluctuating lake water levels in December/January. The transformation from the old, failing wall to the new RD Outdoor creation using Compac wall block and granite steps is incredible and the landscaping and new lawn that they created completes the picture. What an upgrade! His crew did an amazing job and my wife and I are extremely pleased with the results and value that RD Outdoor provided.
