Five stars all the way. I needed three external outlets installed. Charm City Electric showed up on a Sunday, finished their work in about an hour, and were on their way. A positive experience overall.

Gave Joe a call (literally) an hour and a half ago asking if he could give an estimate to bond our CSST lines. Not only was he available same day, he came within the hour, gave a very reasonable estimate and did the work very quickly and professionally. Give Joe a call. Quick, honest and great prices.

Wow...called and was not expecting same day service, but that is what I got. Joe and Chris showed up and did an excellent job. I have been looking for the past 4 years to find someone that can figure out what was using so much energy. They determined that old lighting fixtures and a second refrigerator were the problem. They didn't just tell me that was the problem, they could actually show me where the problem lies with the meters they hooked up. After the work was done, they showed me the metered results again, and this time I could actually see that I was using less energy. If you want a problem solved, these are your guys. Awesome experience.

I called last night because some of my electrical outlets were not working. Joe came in this morning and quickly fixed the problem with no hassles! Great job done by really nice people! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of electric work!

We contacted this company for a free estimate to see why the outdoor outlets stopped working, and to get a price to fix our pole light that wasn't working. The service man checked the outdoor circuit breaker, and found that a switch was tripped and therefore the outlets were not getting power. We were charged $250.00 for that. He did not investigate why the pole light didn't work, instead just giving a quote to rewire the whole thing $650.00. We hired another company for the pole light, and their estimate is $400 at most.

I have had Charm City Electric do multiple things in our home from exhaust fans in my garage, external outlet to run my house on my generator, to smaller things like dimmers and outlets. I have never been dissatisfied. Highly recommend them.

Called today for help with replacing a light switch. Showed up in 15 minutes, found out it was a different issue (that he actually didn't have to do much to fix) and solved the problem in less than 5 minutes- we asked him to charge us for what was basically a wasted trip for him but he refused. Now we know who to call when we actually do need something done and will recommend him to anyone who asks!

First I found this company on google wasn't sure about it never heard about it. Upon calling the company, the representative was very simple. Very quick with making an appointment explain everythanks you're not sure I understood. Also Employee spoked clearly Make sure I understood the problem that I was having. Ontop of That he even explained the solution make sure I understand it. Was clear with The cost and the payment. My bill was actually cheaper than what he expected it to be.

Came even earlier than expected, Chris went right to work and in no time fixed the problem with our HVAC. He was very courteous and respectful and knew what he was doing. Will definitely contact this company again for any future needs.

I called for an estimate/consultation and made an appointment for a technician to come to our house to assess the work we needed done at 9AM. The day came, no call to confirm they were coming, running late by appointment time so I called the company. The girl on the phone was new she said but was very helpful to reschedule, saying she didn’t realize, but two techs had called out. I get it, stuff happens, so we rescheduled for a week later at the same time, 9AM. No call, no show 4 hours later. I know some jobs can run later than anticipated, but if you have standing appointments, someone should at least call the client to explain why they are running late. I tried calling the company and got no response. I couldn’t even get through to leave a message. Customer service could be better.

They showed up on time, exhaustively searched the house for the source of my electrical problem, and finally uninstalled and re-installed my ceiling fan in the master bedroom to fix the mystery electrical buzzing in my walls that the previously called electricians hadn't been able to identify or locate. Polite, affordable, careful, and thorough. Highly recommend Charm City Electric as a great locally-owned small business to support.

Joe Williams is very professional and smart. He is always on time. This Is the second time using this company and I requested him because he is very knowledgeable. Joe came in and took care of everything I needed. Joe looked at my AC unit to give me an idea of what is wrong with it even though it’s not his job. I would highly recommend this company and Joe Williams for any future electrical problems or issues.
