Seth and Jon have been taking care of my lawn for over a year, and the turn around in my yard is incredible. Im in a newer neighborhood in Severna Park and all my neighbors and I had the hardest time controlling weeds and getting that dark green grass. All my neighbors seeked help but everyone used a different company. My yard by far stands out from the rest. I have the darkest green yard and not only are my weeds gone, they control my neighbors weeds from spreading my yard. Both men are professional and easy to talk to . Definitely 5 star business

I used Organic Lawns for about 28 months. I’m disappointed in the results & communication from the company.

My lawn was in decent shape in March 2022 when I hired them. But I wanted it to look even better. As of May 2023, the lawn was looking worse. The owner said to give them another year. It’s now August 2024. My lawn looks horrible - as bad as it has looked in 20 years of owning the property. Refer to attached photos.

I called in early August 2024 to ask what’s going wrong. They said they’d have someone out to look at it on Monday. That was 3 weeks ago. I haven’t heard back. I’m cancelling the service.

I’ve spent over $2,000 for monthly lawn service with Organic Lawns. My lawn got worse during the 28 months of service. At no point in time did I receive a call with suggestions or ideas on how to make it look better or what could be being done differently. When I called expressing problems, they did nothing.

I have had a number of lawn service companies over the last 30 plus years. All claimed to have the best products, technicians, and experience to make my lawn the green plush ideal we would all like to have. I am writing this to let you know, only one company delivered, Organic Lawns!!! no excuses, no blaming the dogs, just results. If you are want a lawn company that can get the job done, especially at a reasonable price call Organic Lawns you will not be disappointed.

The overall experience was great! Rob was fast on getting me on boarded and all squared away with our Fall lawn maintenance. Chris M showed up and did an excellent job. It was hands down the best lawn work we have had ever. He made sure to pass more than once in the bare areas. He took his time to do the job right and we truly appreciated working with him. We highly recommend Organic Lawns, not just because of the quality of their products but also because of the quality of the service. We will be using them again in the Spring for sure.

I’ve been with OrganicLawns for 3-4 years now and they’ve been keeping my new sod nice and green and weed free. Just yesterday I did my first aeration and overseeding, looking forward to the great results. I wanted to mention Kevin stopped by to do the aeration and seeding and he was great. He answered all my questions and told me how to take care of the lawn after the service and what to expect. I asked for a little bit of seeds so that I could reapply where needed and he gave me plenty. Kevin was awesome. Normally Rob does my services, he’s also been great and easy to communicate and work with.

My grass was already healthy before contacting Organic Lawns, but I feel they have helped it even further. Kevin and Seth, our techs are great and arrive to take care of our lawn like clockwork. Highly recommend!

We are really loving the Organic Lawns service provided. Our lawn looks amazing because of their great care and service. We are especially pleased with the recent aeration, seeding, and fertilization that was performed by John and Seth last week. These two young men are professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are hardworking and efficient, and that reflects so well on the whole Organic Lawn company. I’ve been with Organic Lawns since October 2025. Chris and Joe have transformed my yard from bare patches and weeds to a healthy looking grass yard. During a recent planned treatment I shared a concern about an area of patchy grass. They quickly offered a solution and will reassess upon future visits. All at no additional cost to me.

Kevin and Seth have done a wonderful job restoring our yard after we had a new patio installed. The products used are safe for our puppy AND helps to keep our yard free from her yellow potty spots!

Organic Lawns has been absolutely amazing. Kevin and Seth are incredibly professional, consistent, knowledgeable and clearly take pride in their work as they deliver excellent results. You can absolutely tell that they truly care about the quality of their service. The service is reliable, results speak for themselves, and communication is always top-tier. I’ve already recommended Organic Lawns to friends and family and will continue to do so.

We have an acre and a half here in Owings Mills that drains into Beaverdam Run, and want to be mindful stewards the watershed and wildlife. We’ve been working with Organic Lawns for about two years, and have been very happy with the results. They are reliable and diligent, and certainly rival—if not best—the results of our neighbors, who use traditional inorganic applications. Rob and his team have been great to work with, and a shout out to our regular tech Travis and seasonal tech John for walking the grounds with me to identify property boundaries and flag rough terrain and trouble spots. They work in the heat and humidity of summer to keep the turf healthy—thanks, guys.

I had to take the time and post a review of Organic Lawns. I have been a customer 3 years now and it’s been nothing short of amazing. Fertilized and weed controlled myself for many years and that worked out well. As I get busier I contracted with several different companies through the years and was never satisfied. Went back to doing it myself until 3 years ago while visiting a friend. It was November and the lawn was still green. Also we had just got a puppy and liked the idea of the products being organic. I honestly have not looked back since. Attached a few pics after the first cut.

I just want to say that I really enjoyed my visit with Organic Lawns! John was extremely thorough and explained everything that my grass needs to be successful come spring/summer time. He really went in depth when talking about seeding, aeration, leaf growing, fresh soil, etc. John knows his stuff and seriously is a pro. Johnny was also great and was really nice and friendly!
Can’t wait to bring my grass back to life 🙌🏼

I signed up with Organic Lawns abut 6 months ago, I've spent the last few years attempting to treat my yard for weeds. It obviously NEVER worked and of course the very first treatment I received form OL, it totally wiped out just about every weed imaginable.

I actually forgot about my first treatment day, and of course it was in the summer and we decided to set up the kids huge inflatable water slide. However, one of the employees at Organic Lawns named John, was VERY understanding and allowed me to deflate and move the slide in order to get full coverage on my lawn. John also took the time to answer any and all questions, which helped me realize I made the right choice in choosing Organic Lawns to service my lawn care needs.

Since then, John has come back multiple times to treat my lawn, always going above and beyond expectations. Thank you Organic Lawns and John for taking care of my Lawn, as if it were your own!

Great Local Nursery with super helpful staff and great variety of products. They have a rewards program that puts pricing in line with Box Stores AND you support a long time local business. They also have baby chicks at the right time of year 🤓🐤

There is good and bad here. I'll give the bad first, read on for the good:
Don't let the name fool you, Poor Boys is basically for rich people who ENJOY paying premium prices for the same stuff that smart/thrifty shoppers buy elsewhere for reasonable prices.
I honestly can't comprehend how they have managed to stay in business all these years except for their great selection of plants, trees and shrubs which are actually priced pretty competitively. They usually have a 'buy 5, get 1 free' deal on most of their plants, too, which is AWESOME!!
They also have their own landscaping company, Signature Landscapes, who do top-notch work, and I know that for a fact because I actually worked for them for a little while a few years ago...

Bought a Christmas Tree here at poor boys like most years. Ok selection however like everywhere the prices have increased significantly. They where polite and professional. Everything was taken care of including strapping the tree down. I would recommend.

First time there, I was coming for pond plants and emergent plants since I’m a fish breeder and I was just blown away by their selection of plants. Some species I haven’t seen before, including carnivorous emergent pitcher plants! Then when I went to check out I was once again surprised at the amazing selection of dog treats! I have an eleven year old maltipoo with dental problems and I am always looking for good quality treats for her teeth. I was greeted by two friendly gigantic golden retrievers and very friendly staff. I checked out and left very very happy I would love to come here again! Plus tons of landscaping rocks perfect for aquariums

First time stopping in and selection is nice. I was looking for decorative landscaping stone and the young lady seemed very new and couldn't share much. More importantly, she and another young lady couldn't even offer suggestions or take me to someone who could help. Both were nice, but should know to be help oriented.
Will not be visiting there anymore nor would I recommend unless you know exactly what it is you want and call ahead to see if they have it.

Great selection of plants, trees, flowers, herbs. I like their soil selection for potting. They sell liquid fertilizers, not sure about stuff for top dressing.

Beautiful koi pond with some huge fish in there. In the spring I've seen them have baby chick's here.

Good place for bulk birdseed and other pet foods.
