(2018)The experience was horrible. Insurance paid Fireworks to restore the house after a basement fire, which was never completed. The quotes included major inflation on each material listed. The work itself was sloppy, not perfessional at all. Simple mistakes were made like not cleaning up your work as you go, painting window seals shut, carpet not being laid properly, not sanding after mudding in some areas, electrical exposed and not reconfigured to reduce chance of fire in the future, took lazy short cut solutions to child proofing a set of stairs so that now, literally only children can fit their feet on the steps. My elderly grandmother was taken advantage of because of her age, and probably even race. She was moved back into a house that did not meet regulatory codes with no intention on finishing what they started. Im convinced a deal was made to get the necessary signatures that approved the work done.

I had a kitchen fire in December 2018. Fire Works Cleaning and construction was onsite within 1 hour to start the cleaning process. The estimator arrived the following day, submitted the estimate to my insurance company and moved forward with repairs and painting once approved. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend calling Fire Works to assist in situations like this.

Have used Fireworks twice now for reconstruction work after water damage. Very happy with their work and even more pleased with the professionalism and kindness of their project manager, Michael. Addressing a water damage even is stressful and dealing with someone who is both knowledgeable and understanding really matters in those moments!

My neighbor's mature old oak tree fell on my house and put a hole in my roof and attic at 11:15 p.m., almost midnight. The impact was so loud, we thought we were being bombed in DC. Several insurance contractors came to give an estimate. Fireworks Construction was one of them. Their roof mechanic named Oscar climbed up on my roof to examine the damage. I was so depressed at this juncture, dealing with insurance companies and the like. Oscar, however, knew exactly what kind of shingles I had, Grand Manor, a relatively unknown high-end brand. I knew immediately that he was seasoned and experienced. I went with Fireworks Construction for the repair. Pablo of Fireworks came to my home thereafter and reassured me that all will be done within a week, weather permitting. He was a man of his word. Oscar and his crew did the work, Pablo gave me the reassurance I needed, and Melvin at the Fireworks office kept me updated every single step of the way with emails and phone calls. I was in good hands. Save time and money. Go with Fireworks Construction. Like me, you will be so very glad you did. Highly recommend!

Solid work overall, they were able to start promptly and finish ahead of schedule. Competitive pricing when compared to other local masons. Would recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I am an architect so saying that I'm particular is an understatement. Elman and his helpers did such a fantastic job on my patio. The design consisted of a mix of stone and brick work as well as coordinating our drainage. The execution was flawless. Most importantly, Elman was very easy to work with. He asked questions, and was always willing to problem solve and collaborate. I really enjoyed working with him. I highly recommend J&C. He really cares about his work and it shows in the final product.

We first hired J&C to replace a retaining wall and relay a brick walkway. The project also included some work to manage water runoff from the property. They did a fantastic job! Before starting they listened closely to our needs and wants and submitted a great plan and price.
We like their work so much we hired them again for another project to expand our patio and build some rain gardens. They did a great job and had excellent suggestions about how to make the patio more attractive and usable.
We highly recommend them for their quality work, ease to work with, and reasonable pricing.

I have interacted with J&C Stone Work & Landscaping for the last four years. This company is owned and operated by three generations of the Reyes family, Elman, his son Carlos and the grandfather.
First they used flagstone to construct a beautiful patio, they assembled and erected a Pergola, and they constructed an elegant walkway with pavers. I keep going back to them for any project I need. The reason: they are very hard working people, do meticulous work, very polite and they took all my wishes into account even when I changed the design midway in the project. They arrived on time when promised, did great job, cleaned the area after work, all with smiles on their face. I was impressed how they work together and get the job done on time and in the best possible shape. The icing on the cake is reasonable competitive price.
A special shout for Carlos. He is a student in college who is very smart, speaks beautiful English and took several hours to discuss the design with me, makes several modification, and explains various materials needed. His input was crucial for having a beautiful product. In addition, he is very polite and i enjoyed discussing various aspects of his study and listening to him.
The father and grandfather are also very charming hard working people. My interactions with all three of the them was nothing short of great, I recommend them highly and without hesitation. Sam Zakhari

J&C installed a paver patio and walkways in the backyard of our DC row house. They did fantastic work, were very communicative, responsive to last minute changes from us, and the project came in on time and budget. We look forward to Spring and being able to use the new backyard J&C provided, strongly recommend to anyone looking to install hardscaping.
