We had some flooding in our laundry room, bathroom, and hallway. Noel, Jim, and Reuven did a terrific job with remediation. Among the things I liked: great communication and prompt, professional service. There was one tricky area that required a follow-up visit, which they resolved quickly and at no extra charge. They really care about doing the job right.

Noel was very professional, knowledgeable and communicated to us the exact issue we were experiencing at our residence, finding the source of the water issue. From our initial conversation, I immediately felt reassured that I was working with a professional. His report was detailed and very helpful to understanding the issues that require remediation. We will definitely be using CORE Team again in the future for our other rental units. Highly recommend for others looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and reliable company in the DMV area.

Core Team is the best in the business. They work fast and are so thorough. Most of all their customer service is phenomenal. There every step of the way, responsive and go out of the way to help you when you are dealing with an emergency situation. The owner Noel is a real mensch and anyone would be lucky to work with him and his great team.

Noel at CORE was VERY responsive, something I greatly appreciate. He came to review the scope of work and gave us a couple of options. The mold remediation we needed done was not a large job, but was fixed in a couple of hours. They removed our baseboards, fixed back into place and painted. It all looks seamless! Great Company, Great Job!

Lifesavers!

Within a few hours of one of the big storms last week, we suddenly realized we had water pouring into a basement bedroom. As our house is 30 years old, we have had our share of water damage and Core Team is literally on our speed dial. My wife quickly called Core Team in panic mode and they offered to be at our house first thing the next morning. And once again, they took the time to thoroughly assess the damage and explain everything clearly, from what they found to exactly how they planned to fix it. Within just a few hours, we felt completely reassured that the situation was under control. Their team is literally the BEST in this field. Core Team came in right after a pipe burst at my home and did a great job of mitigation and clean up. They were prompt, communicative, and courteous. They were able to minimize the damage and prevent mold through minimally invasive steps to avoid larger repair costs down the road. They were significantly less expensive than another company that had proposed much more significant steps including removing the walls entirely. Core Team came highly to me, and I would highly recommend them to others.

I first heard about Core Team from a neighbor on the app "Next Door". I reached out to Core Team and spoke to Noel. Noel was great! I had previously dealt this a different water mitigation company in the past and was very stressed out that I was going to get taken advantage of again (yes there are def some bad actors out there that take advantage of home owners in the time of a water damage crisis so buyer beware). That said, Noel was calm, confident and communicative and made sure that he was personally involved and invested with my current water issues (flooding from a 3rd floor bathroom down all three levels of my home). He kept me abreast every step of the way and his team was responsive, respectful, efficient, and got the job done. Noel is currently working with my Insurance company to file for damages and I have complete confidence in both the work that they do as well as their fair pricing and assessment of my situation. I would 100% work with Core Team again.

I buy homes, renovate them, and resell them for a living. One of my recent purchases was a single-family home that absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The kitchen cabinets were coated in a yellow film, the carpet had to go, and even after repainting all the walls, the smell still lingered.

That’s when I reached out to Noel and the Core Team. They recommended using an Ionizer air purifier to eliminate the odor. I’ll admit, I was skeptical—but I ran the machine overnight for three evenings, about 12 hours each time. After just one day, the smell was nearly gone. By the third day, the cigarette odor had completely disappeared.

From water removal, to demo, to construction, they handled ever detail with care and excellence. During the project, we discovered additional/unexpected water damage. Noel immediately communicated the unexpected and offered a variety of solutions at different price points. It can be challenges to find contractors in the DMV and Noel is the best of the best. I cannot recommend Core Team highly enough!

Core Team was phenomenal in every way. Our warehouse had a very serious fire (during our busiest, most mission critical time of the year), originating from a neighboring business. Core Team responded immediately, assisted with the smoke and odor damage, and worked tirelessly to ensure that we were able to keep our business open with as little interruption as possible given the circumstances.
