I've been using Meyer Electrical Services for a few years now and I've been very happy with the work they have done for me. Their work is of high quality, they are are on time, pleasant to deal with, and I especially appreciate their answering my questions and explaining what is being done.

I paid a lot of money for Meyer Electrical to come to my home and do some electrical services. They failed to do the job correctly, which forced me to hire another contractor to do the work Meyer failed to do. When I tried to get some money back for the botched job, Walt Meyer accused me of fraud. I provided the invoice from the second electrician who performed the work Meyer couldn't, and Walt Meyer said the invoice I sent him was "bogus." So, not only was I cheated out of money by Meyer, and had to spend more time and money to get the job done correctly, but I was also accused of trying to defraud him with a "bogus" invoice. Terrible experience.

The owner (Walt) was troubleshooting my Generac generator. VERY incompetent technician (Please don't hire him).
I couldn't start Generac generator. Walt recommended replacing the starter. His technicians replaced the starter in a few days. Did not fix the problem (so far I am out almost $575). Next he recommend replacing the "Control board" (without doing any test at all), which costed me additional $696 (he wants to be paid in advanced).
He replaced the "Control board" , that did not work either. At this time he blamed the battery, which was 2 months old (and I told him so) for the problem. By this time I was out $1,271, and I still could not start my generator. More importantly, he would not answer my calls and would not return my messages.

I hired another company, they identified the problem to be bad battery connection. Fixed it in a few minutes- DONE.

WHAT A DRAMA WITH MEYER ELECTRICAL SERVICES.
They are NOT Generac authorize service company.
Walt has no clue what he is doing. Actually he technicians were pretty good.

Meyer Electrical Services are prompt, efficient and professional. They completed a heavy up service on my single family home after damage from a tree on my outside electrical box and wires. I was very satisfied by the work done. Outstanding service.

Walt was Awesome. I called late afternoon and he showed up first thing the next morning. Diagnosed and fixed my problem, a bad 240 dryer connection that had been dangerously wired. Very good rate. Will use Meyer Electrical from now on! I highly recommend!! Thanks Walt!!

They were excellent. Responded quickly on what I was concerned was a dangerous situation. They were professional and fairly priced. We didn’t have prior experience with Meyer Electrical but I will not hesitate to call them for future projects.

I spoke with Walt at Meyer Electrical at 4:30 PM on a Thursday regarding placing a cable outlet above my fireplace. He told me someone would be out by 7:30 the following morning. An electrician named Ben showed up early to begin the job. He was efficient, nice, did an amazing job, and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely use Meyer again.

We needed a new outdoor outlet for a project. The electrician from Meyer Electrical arrived on time, was very professional, did the job beautifully and handled a small inside job as well. The price was reasonable, and the work was done quickly and professionally.

Meyer did an amazing job! Most of my electricity in my house had been out for almost a week. I had 2 other electricians look at it and they couldn't figure it out. Meyer came up with a creative and safe solution. They also showed up on time and were very professional. Highly recommend!

The company gave me an arrival time range of 8am-9:30 am. At 7:54 the company, unilaterally and without explanation, gave me a new arrival range of 11:30am-1:00pm. No one arrived during that range, and I was not notified of a change or given an explanation. A workman did arrive shortly before 4:00pm. without explaining the late arrival or offering an apology. The workman then spent one-half hour troubleshooting, and told me he could not find the problem. He then left, after charging me $175. I now have to hire a reliable and courteous company. I may be told the problem can't be found, but I can't rely on Meyer Electrical Service's assessment now.

I had worked with Meyer Electrical many years ago in my prior house with great results, so called them again when an entire circuit in my kitchen failed after a coffee maker mishap. Walt took my call directly on his cell phone while driving to a job and asked me to follow up with an email. We scheduled an appointment that week and he gave me a reasonable estimate (starting with his minimum charge if $150 for the visit). He arrived on the early side of the time range, quickly assessed the problem and repaired it - specifically repairing rather than replacing a failed gcfi. He did some additional repairs and did not exceed his minimum charge. I will happily call Walt again, and recommend him highly.

The price was super fair, the workmen were timely, very concerned to do the work in accordance with my expectations, courteous and cleaned up the debris at the end of the project. Their work was excellent. I definitely would use this company again for any electrical work. Many thanks, Walt.

I was very impressed with Meyer electrical. They worked out several odds and ends issues with our house that were found on the inspection report. Very professional and friendly, explaining what they were doing, but on a level I could understand. Would definitely use them again.

I needed a GFCI outlet installed in a crawl space.

I filled out the "contact us" form online late one evening and the owner responded to my inquiry in the early morning hours (pre business hours for sure). He gathered all the necessary info and had his guys sent out to the site on time and the date that I needed (relatively short notice). Walt's crew was respectful, on time, quick and efficient.

You may be able to find a cheaper electrician, but the quality of work and service cannot be beat. Well worth the cost. I will continue using Meyer Electrical for all of my electrical needs.

On time. Trustworthy. Knowledgeable. Did a great job identifying our electrical needs and quickly solved all our problems. My wife and I are so happy we found Meyer and will continue to use them for future projects! We highly recommend this company.

We used Meyer Electric to 1) run electric to a mini split we installed in garage, 2) to add outlets to garage, 3) fix wiring in attic fan, 4) up date an outlet. We got an estimate for but did not upgrade the outlets in kitchen.

1) My first complaint is the cost. The estimate was for $1300, I know several months past and building material cost increased. BUT I A) provided copper wire, outlet boxes, and lights for the garage and B) elected not to update some of the outlets in the kitchen. I am pretty upset that the cost jumped up over $700.
2) The person who came was a really nice guy but he did not really know what the project was. I put up 3 empty outlet boxes and said "I want these you do not need to put up more." After the first 1-2 hrs he asks me if i liked the 3 additional outlet boxes he put up. I said no i just want the 3 I put up.
3) Within 3 weeks of the project, I was using a shop vac to clean up and the circuit blew. I am not sure that the project fit my needs.

Meyer Electric was great from the moment I called. Not only is no job too small, the repair team, Alfredo, and his trainee, Cole, were professional courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and swiftly efficient. I am definitely using this local company again. You won't do better!

Meyer Electrical Service, Inc did a heavy up, replacing electrical cables coming into my home along with the a new circuit breaker box and new circuit breakers as well as adding a surge protector. They were competent, responsive, neat, efficient, used quality components and all for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them for any electrical work
