Very responsive, professional, and efficient! I found Meyer Electrical recommended on my neighborhood listserv and I am very pleased. I had a list of several items to be repaired/replaced. Walt was prompt in responding to me, suggested solutions, provided a clear quote, and scheduled the work quickly. The electrician showed up on time and did a great job. I have used Meyer Electrical again for a few other things since the initial work, and will definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend them.

I just had Meyer Electric install track lighting in my apartment kitchen. My call for service was addressed promptly and I was able to arrange an appointment quickly, within one day. The electrician was on time and completed the job professionally and within the time frame given. In addition to doing a good job the technician answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Meyer Electric and intend to use them in the future.

I called Meyer Electrical to install two light boxes. Walt Meyer followed up quickly, and as a sign of his willingness to work with us he squeezed us in at 6:30 am on a Monday morning! The electrician did a professional job (on time, completed the work, and cleaned up) and was finished in about an hour and a half.

This is the third time we’ve used Meyer Electrical over the years, and they were as professional as ever. I needed an outdoor outlet/cover replaced to fit a different plug, and needed minor work done in the house as well. The two men who came out were very courteous, friendly, and worked quickly but carefully. The price was fair (as it always has been), and they performed the work within three days of my initial call. Very responsive to calls/emails. Highly recommend! (Masks worn, too, with no issues... outside and inside.)

We have relied on Meyer Electric for over a decade at our old and new house. Walt and his team are very responsive, open to working out solutions to minimize cost and finding a way to work us in even when they are very busy. The range of work we’ve had done includes installing a 240v outlet for a level 2 car charger; whole house surge protectors; portable generator transfer switch and more. I just had a horrible experience with this company. I scheduled an appointment with their office and they confirmed a date and time. When that time came and passed I called them to see if they were still planning to come. The person who answered the phone this time, Walt the electrician, said he never confirmed my appointment and he wasn't coming. He could not have been more rude. When I explained that the office already confirmed my appointment he screamed... "NO... I never confirmed it... you never confirmed the price!" This is simply not true, since I did confirm the price with the office when I spoke with them and booked the appointment They never mentioned at that time that the actual electrician would need to confirm it with me also. He said he sent me something, but they never asked for my email, so not sure how he could have. I can't believe he was so unbelievably rude or inaccurate. How do they stay in business if this is how they treat their customers?!?

Walt is a pro! Absolutely recommend Myer Electrical Services, they did an amazing job installing my Kohler generator at a fair price. And moving forward the maintenance is all squared away.

The work was good, but I was charged $220/hr, more than twice the average rate for an electrician in dc. There was nothing special about the job, not an emergency problem or anything out of the ordinary.

These guys are fantastic. They were able to install a 240v line for an induction range in a very tricky area with minimal patchwork needed to existing drywall. Super professional and at a fair price!

Walt from Myer Electrical Services was a pleasure to work with. I had him heavy up my electrical panel. I wanted this upgrade to enhance the electrical panel's capacity for more energy. I felt confident in his work and he was thorough in maintaining proper communication between our power service provider and the two of us. They have replaced new switches, installed new exterior outlets and indoor/outdoor lights, fixed another contractor’s shoddy work, and more. Meyer Electrical Services, Inc has been maintaining my Kohler generator for many, many years. Walt has corrected inferior work that was done during another companies installation and maintained my system through a service contract. Initially it was difficult to find someone who worked on Kohler but I found Meyer Electrical Services to be experts in Kohler as well as other brands and responsive to the occasional service issues that have arisen over the years. I would definitely recommend Meyer Electrical Services for Generator and any other electrical work.

Walt Meyer is the epitome of integrity, professionalism, and responsiveness to the customer. It really doesn't get any better than this. And that is saying a lot because adding a generator to my solar panels and batteries was somewhat involved. Having the experience I have garnered thus far I was extremely pleased that i had Walt doing this complex work. Who is obvious that he and his helper were a well practiced and oiled machine. There were no hiccups. And I can add that I talked to several other people. What I learned was that when they had questions, even other professional generator installers, they went to Walt to get good answers. I would also add that his price was lower than many others. I am very pleased.

Nick just finished with electrical repairs at my home. His estimate for the work was exactly what was charged, his communication was excellent, and the work was completed in the time it was promised. Finding a small company that responds this well is unusual. I highly recommend Meyer Electric.
