I will keep shopping here thanks to Rachel for her customer service in garden/perennials. During several trips this spring I bought all my vegetables plants, shrubs, perennials and a tree. One of the clematis I bought still in pot had to be returned a couple days later because there was a brake at the bottom stem on half the plant, pictured on the left. The young stocky blonde girl at the cash register kept questioning me about my care, so I asked for a manager instead! I had it for a couple days, still in pot, so no I didn’t do anything to it! If you ever have an issue it’s best to speak to Rachel first.

Went in today, (around 11am) tried to ask 3 different people in the nursery for assistance and no one seemed to want to help and seemed annoyed I needed assistance. I ended up locating the 2 plants on my own. However, the cashier inside was very friendly and helpful. I have been coming here for years, I’m not sure what was happening but customer service was horrible. All I wanted was to locate 2 plants I couldn’t find and had basic care questions. I only needed 5 mins of time but I was brushed off by 3 different employees. I asked one woman if she knew if my plant was poisonous for pets she responded “how would we know go check online “ I responded “oh I came in a couple years ago and spoke to a man that worked here that answered my questions and said if I ever have any plant questions I could come in and talk to an employee “ she said “we don’t do that” But like I mentioned the cashier inside was very kind and helpful

Don’t waste your money. I bought 3 hanging baskets the first weekend of May. The flowers are so root bound they require water 2 times a day. This is May!!! They are already struggling so there’s no way they will survive into July, much less through the summer! At $40 a basket they were way overpriced. Will never return to this company!

I have been going to Valley view for at least 30 years. My grandmother would take me every year to pick out new tree ornaments. She has long since past and I still keep the tradition of going every year with her spirit by my side. This place holds a deep and special place in my heart. I love this place so very much!!! I have never missed a year to visit in over 30 years!!

My favorite local nursery! Always has beautiful plants that are well taken care of and a large display of holiday decorations that my family and I love visiting!

I love Valley View Farms but today I purchased a boulder and my truck was damaged in the process of the associates loading it into the trunk. There has to be a better system in place when loading these boulders into customers vehicles. Now I’m stuck with the damage for a $70 boulder.

They always have items that you can't find anywhere else. Amazing assortment of decorations from all over the world.

I had a wonderful experience with Valley View Farms employees Kim and Andrew. I purchased a cantilever umbrella, umbrella base and end table from Kim. She was extremely helpful and supportive. She provided me with all of the information that I needed in order to make a good purchase. The materials were delivered in excellent condition and came quickly. Andrew came from Valley View Farms and set up the umbrella exactly where I wanted it. When I had some later difficulty in managing the mechanics of the umbrella, I called Kim. She then had Andrew come out again and he patiently showed me how to open and close the umbrella. He even wrote down the steps for me so that I would have them for future reference. These employees both went beyond the call of duty and I am grateful for their support. When I use the umbrella, I will think of the superlative service that I received from Kim and Andrew from Valley View Farms. C. Bentley

This is one of the best nurseries in Maryland. They have a wide selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, herbs and annuals. Great pond equipment and materials. A smaller selection of hardscaping materials like rocks and boulders. Koi pond fishes and water plants and lillies.. incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

My favorite nursery. Why? Great variety, nicely organized, informational, well taken care of place, everyone is helpful, friendly. It is good therapy going here. Love it.

The plants they sell here are of good quality. I purchased a few for my garden and they have done well this summer. This store is rather large and has many areas. Expect to pay top dollar, though, since this isn't Lowes or Home Depot quality. They also have many tropical plants for sale. A must is to visit the koi fish pond, which is really interesting.

Been here couple dozen times. Pretty sure the bad reviews are just people who mismanaged their plants and wanted refunds or free stuff in return. Crazy world out there.

There's a good chance they'll lose your Xmas tree before they can get it to your car so keep a close eye on the tree you pick out! This is the last time they'll get my money

Great place for plants and help. Now decorated Christmas trees and all you need to decorate yours. A regular winter wonderland. Massive Christmas Garden display for selling one of a kinds.

We come here every year during the holidays as im sure many do. They have done very well adapting to the challenges that covid has caused. We felt safe and enjoyed our trip as always do
