They were assigned through my AHS home warranty, it's a pure luck of a draw if you get a competent tech to propertly diagnose your issue. However, they will drastically over-inflate "water line modifications" costs which are not covered by the homewarranty. These costs are far above and beyond what it would cost you to hire a local reputable plumber out-of-pocket. My sincere recommendation is to ask for another contractor as soon as you get notification that TMayes was assigned to your claim.

Mayes Plumbing tried to OVERCHARGE me 500% more of what I paid to fix the issue. I got them through the AHS and had no choice than using them. Not sure how they have above 3* ratings.
Person who handled the claim was very rude (Kathy if I can remember the name correct) and unknowledgeable. Issue was clearly on the basement and they wanted to open upstairs walls first just to see. when those were open, they said they need to dug through the floor to repair. They sending different plumbers in each dispatch and they keep saying different things. I brought in 3 other master plumbers to compare their claim and all of them said they can fix it from the basement where the leak is happened. The funny story is they said they want about $2000 to replace the $10 worth of toilet flange. BE CAREFUL when you hire Mayes Plumbing and Heating. Ask for someone else if American Home Shield sending these guys. Very disappointed. -
